Agatha was an amazing host. She reached out to use frequently leading up to our meet up, and showed us a different side of Athens then what we'd experienced. The tour was very kid centric. My very social 8 year old really enjoyed talking and playing with her and she even got my little antisocial 4 year old to come around. Agathi was a knowledgeable, accommodating and friendly guide. Great introduction to the architecture and design of the cultural centre and its affiliated park, who offered fun for our kids. I managed to book this tour at the last minute with Agathi. Agathi was very friendly, accommodating and prompt with her replies and I really appreciated that. For this tour, she brought us to several family and child friendly sites. My children really enjoyed the relaxed pace of the tour, the playgrounds and wide spaces, and the opportunity to run and play in a safe space. Agathi was very patient and accommodating towards my children. At the same time, I enjoyed seeing a different part of Athens and learning more about the lifestyle and culture here in Athens from Agathi. We absolutely loved our day with Agathi by the seaside. We had just finished a marathon of many days of tours back-to-back and our 5 year old really needed a break from all of that. I mentioned that to Agathi and she had the perfect outing for us. We got to see a part of Athens that we surely would not have found on our own. She was super-flexible and gave the kids plenty of time to play at the park and marina area. If you are tired of dodging the traffic in Athens while on foot - then this tour is perfect since it is mostly in areas with no cars.Perfect family outing day for small kids

Agathi was a wonderful guide. Super easy to communicate with, helpful, and patient. She showed us a part of Athens we otherwise would have missed. Two of the highlights were discovered to be closed on our tour which was a bummer (the SNCF observation area and ship yard), but it was clear that the tour usually covers some pretty neat places. It was really hot when we visited, so the a/c at the library was a needed break. The dessert was delicious. The kids had fun, and the adults learned lots about the areas Agathi took us to. I would definitely recommend; but would also suggest picking a time when the temperature is milder. This was our first WL experience and we would do it again.Nice break from the city

We are a family of 3 with an 8 year old boy. We booked this trip to have something to do different than going to see temples and is was a great find. Our trip happen to take place in spring during s week filled wth rain, but Agathi (our guide) was ready, prepared and willing to adjust and take us to these great places despite of the rain... at the end we had the chance to seethe sun and enjoy those amazing Greek doughnuts, we saw a replica of an ancient ship in the port and visit a fantastic new building (Stavros foundation) with a library that had amazing roof gardens and a display of modern architectural sculptures. If you are looking to see a different part of Athens, then consider this trip.... We loved it and our guide was great. Agathi, thank you for your time and for showing us great parts of your city. This is a good tour with family and kids, where the modern Athens is explored by visiting a fantastic area. In particular for parents that feel guilty making the kids walk the historic sites, this tour is meant for the kids more than the older ones. It was our favorite day in Athens! The tour was full of games and interesting stories for the kids but also for us. We saw the famous Averof battleship and learned all about it's history which was priceless for my 11 years old son. The whole tour was by the sea side with beautiful surroundings and fresh air. My spouse and I decided to do this tour at the last minute because we had done something similar in Paris and had a lot of fun. Scheduling spontaneously was very easy. We have spent a lot of time in Greece at our family’s home but not in Athens. The vegan foods were familiar to us and some of our favorites. I had a lovely morning with Agathi showing me all her favourite places in trendy Athens for eating and shopping. All her food choices were absolutely delicious, lots of veggie and vegan options available too. The clothing and jewellery shops were delightful and I ended up buying a gorgeous summer dress and a couple of unique tops that I'm happy with. The extra virgin olive oil tasting was fun and I did all my gift shopping for friends and colleagues during our morning, which was useful. I took pictures of the different foods and the names & was confident over the next two weeks of travel, that when I ordered something, that food was actually Vegan. 2 people (1x Vegan and 1x Vegetarian) Our first ever food tour, and it exceeded all our hopes for the day! Agathi was a fantastic tour guide, giving us so much information - beyond even just the vegan food options in the city. She is super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed and regularly checked we were doing okay (Greece in July is difficult for us Scots not used to the heat!). The walk was great, giving us time to see lots of spots in the city but at a good pace that never felt like a march or a sprint! And of course the food was delicious, varied, fresh, and all came with interesting context and background information on the dish and ingredients. Agathi is amazing! She was warm and welcoming from the very start. Very experienced and knowledgeable. Not only did we learn about vegan food in Athens, we learned a lot about the life, culture, and history of Athens. She didn't just take us to eating spots, we also stopped at some historical sites, anything we were curious about. She went way above and beyond the posted description of the tour. And, of course, the food was delicious! It was nice to eat and not have to worry if there was meat or dairy in the food. The tour went at a nice pace. We didn't get too full at any one spot. We really enjoyed this tour. Agatha was flexible in planning the tour around our food preferences. She took us to a number of places: olive oil and honey tasting, nut sampling, fruit juice choices, spanikapita and vegetarian souvlaki, bakery, and doughnuts ice cream. Best of all she provided insight into the neighborhoods and their history. She was patient with us when we wanted to stop even though this lengthened our tour. Agathi is an incredibly talented, friendly and knowledgable guide. The food she gave us to try was all deliciously tasty and gave us a real privileged insight into the food culture of Athens from the perspective of an Athenian, it was an honour. Our favourite food was the Koulouri rings which I haven’t stopped thinking about since we got home. Agathi’s tour was so much more than simply food, she gave us Greek history and provided really valuable opportunities for cross cultural dialogue. She also recommended a brilliant bar aswell as a theatre show which made our stay really memorable. My first visit to Greece and I wanted to try and learn about different foods that are local and readily available by everyone, not just me as a tourist. Agathi was my guide, and she was amazing! She was very sweet, approachable with any questions, and we laughed together, a lot. Our tour was around three hours. Agathi took me to try olive oils produced from all over Greece, different breads and sandwiches, and desserts, and more. What I enjoyed just as much was walking with her through all different sorts of neighborhoods, seeing and meeting locals, and learning about the history of each area. Agathi took me to a bakery that has been in business for over 125 years at the same spot. Crazy Awesome! I would never has visited or learned about these neighborhoods without her. It was a wonderful day, and being in Greece for over six weeks this was my favorite day. Agathi took what was already a good day and she made it great. I am not sure if she can be requested, but you should try and book her. Agathi, you made an incredible memory for me. I will continually share it with my friends and family and remember it and you. Agathi provided an absolutely delightful 4-hour food and wine tasting tour! Our group of 4 had a custom, private food tour with Agathi in Athens. She was wonderful! She was able to accommodate a change to our proposed tour at the last minute. We felt that we had already taken a deep dive into traditional Greek food over the previous two weeks so requested more of a focus on middle eastern, vegetarian foods off the beaten track. Agathi came through! She was very knowledgeable about the history of the city as we walked from stop to stop. We got to see a side of Athens that we would not have seen on our own.
