This was our 2nd tour with Valentina, who is AMAZING (knowledgeable and organized with a warm and friendly personality). We took it just as it got dark for some extra atmosphere. It was not a creepy tour and we loved walking the city in the dark, seeing less touristy neighborhoods, haunted sites and learning about the history of the ghosts was fascinating. We had such a great time with Valentina! We wish we could have booked more tours with her. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and easy to talk to. It was rainy and cold when we took our evening walking tour and she made it so much fun, we could have stayed out all night. She told us stories about almost every corner and kept us entertained. My nephew and I enjoyed our ghost tour of Rome with Valentina. We visited beautiful places and heard interesting stories of some of Rome's historical ghosts. Valentina's communication in advance was very good. We would recommend this tour if you are interesting in a lovely stroll through the historic centre while hearing some tales of former residents. Our first time in Rome and the first time I have used 'With locals'. Very relieved everything happened as promised! It was great fun to spend 2 hours with Valentina listening to her ghost stories. Cannot recommend Valentina enough for any tour she does. We booked her for the colosseum, roman forum and palatine hill and the tour was fantastic. She is very educated on the topics and having a private tour was so much more personal than the large groups. It was so fascinating learning all about the history. Valentina expertly guided us from start to finish and was very engaging and personable. It was so cool to have someone knowledgeable to point out little "Easter eggs" within the art and architecture and tell us about some of the history.
