We booked Bado for a city walk guided tour, with our 2 kids, aged 7 and 15, while we were visiting Rome for the first time. Firstly, Bado is really friendly and so easy to chat to. He balanced history, culture, architecture and story-telling perfectly. It wasn't too much info so as to overload the kids and he was so happy to answer their questions and pick up on what interested and engaged each of them. We covered a lot of ground, all the 'showstopper' moments (Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Roman Forum) and stopping regularly along the way for views you might not get on a larger more generic tour, and of course breaks for gelato and snacks (crucial when touring a city with kids!) This kind of personalised pace is something you simply cannot get when joining a big group. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Thank you Bado!Super Experience with Bado!

Sara is an amazing guide because she is not just well informed but intellectually honest with that information! She is super knowledgeable about art, Roman and church history and is happy to tailor the tour to what most interests you. We had other guides, but they often presented the material as a laundry list of facts and dates whereas, Sara is conversational, relaxed and responsive to your perspective (and not without a clever sense of humor.) She knows the Vatican like the back of her hand, which is very helpful when you need to navigate around all the crowds and lines. On the practical side: she was very easy to reach and was able to offer suggestions about other places to visit and good neighborhood restaurants. We highly recommend Sara!!!Fantastic Vatican Tour!

We spent a long time with Sara, where she showed us all of the secret, non-tourist spots during our tasting tour. The best pizza, the best gelato, different styles of Italian cuisine... she not only knew where to go, but was quite often recognized by the owner of the establishment who was more than happy to give us special tastings of their dishes. I’m a bit late writing this review, but I still often think about the mini tour my partner and I did with Daniele in late February. The slower pace was exactly what we needed, it gave us space to take in the beauty of Rome without rushing, and to really appreciate the city from a local’s perspective. Daniele’s thoughtful, relaxed style made the experience feel authentic and personal. He introduced us to several local spots for snacks, all of which we loved—especially the Trapizzino! We had a really wonderful time with Max, from the moment we met up near Piazza Navona. Not only was he incredibly kind, personable, knowledgeable, and charismatic, he also deeply cares about the history of Rome and sharing it with us. His joy and expression when we engaged him with questions and excitement about what he was sharing, only made him want to tell us more. We stopped in a local wine shop for a glass of wine and a cafe for espresso. he spoke about the frescos and gave us a history on Rome. We explored alleys and stopped in a garden in a library. Bado was so great with our group of 3. We wanted to set something up specifically for my son's interest in philosophy and the roots of democracy. Bado was such a pleasure as our host and tour guide. We booked Dina for a walking tour of Florence on Monday 17 March 2025. She was an excellent guide, providing an overview of the city’s rich history, with insights into its medieval and modern art. I did the night tour of the Colosseum with Max and the day tour with Harshit and both of them were excellent. They are very well informed and answered all of our questions perfectly. The night tour of the forums and Colosseum was better as it was so much calmer than walking around Rome amongst so many herds of people. Dina was the best! We booked a Highlights and hidden gems tour in Florence for my husband and 2 kids 15/13. Dina was truly awesome. Communication was fantastic pre tour and during - she provided us with so many fun facts and interesting stories. (Ones you can’t google!) We saw sights, learned the history and her restaurant knowledge is A+. Dina was so easy to be with, very personable and fun. She is also so kind and super helpful. Max was great, explained everything in such a simple and interesting way, walked us through a brief history of the Roman Empire - from the “ab urbe condita”, Punic wars to Julius Caesar, Augustus and Nero and all the way to the end. Timing at 6:30 pm is ideal because the setting is so nice. I would definitely recommend to everyone visiting Rome, it’s a much better experience to learn something new and hear great stories about the rich history then just paying the entrance tickets to the sights.Max was great

Daniele, we asked Daniele to take us to sights and neighbourhoods away from the highlights in central historic room. This he did admirably. Collecting the 4 of us from our hotel, he took us to places we would not have gone to or found by ourselves. His anecdotes and humour also enlivened the walk and have given us a very good memory of a part of hidden Rome. We will happily recommend Daniele and hope to be able to walk with him again on a future visit to RomeA walk through time

The young architect who showed us around the city, Bado, was wonderful! He was charming, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. His English was excellent and he was patient and careful in answering our questions. He clearly loves both Rome’s history and its present day. The three hour tour we took was the ideal length. We saw about 10 different sites and Bado explained their significance and relationship to each other in clear but not overwhelming detail.
