Informative and energetic, Sara showed us all we could possibly see in the two days we were in Rome. She never stopped talking, and that was a wonderful thing! The absolute wealth of knowledge she has about the city is unparalleled. Not only did we learn so much about the ancient city, she also took us to some of the tastiest places for pizza, suppli, and the most decadent slushie espresso topped with fresh whipped cream just outside the Pantheon. We had a wonderful day with Sara at the Vatican. Sara was so knowledgeable about all things Vatican especially the artwork. She was also ver accommodating from the beginning. She understood exactly what we wanted to achieve while touring as well as understanding when we were finished looking at certain things and wanted to move on. Furthermore, it was a very hot day and touring with teens can be challenging. Sara accommodated the tour to make it interesting for them but also knew when to speed things up to keep their interest. The Vatican, Sistine Chapel and St Peter’s Basilica have always been iconic attractions that my family and I have always wanted to experience. My wife and I met Sara a couple of hours after arriving in Rome to do a customized Welcome Tour with her. Pre-tour communication was excellent and it didn't take us long at all to connect. Before starting our tour, we were hungry - fortunately, Sara quickly guided us to a restaurant where we had a quick, delicious meal that accommodated our gluten-free needs. The tour itself was a wonderful experience - Sara is incredibly knowledgeable about history and culture, and she told some great stories. She took us to all the sights we wanted to see, and made it fun and interesting - she is a bundle of energy and a very social person! She is also a great teacher, and brought some visual aids to make sure we had a sense of what things looked like in ancient times. We learned so much in our 3 hours and by the end of the tour, we were interested in learning even more about Roman history! We've taken 4 trips to various parts of Europe over the past year, and we think Sara is the best guide we have ever had. We feel like we made a friend in Rome and we will definitely spend some more time with her on our next trip to Rome - highest recommendation! Truly memorable tour experience!

Sara was an amazing tour guide who helped us navigate Rome so efficiently on a busy Sunday morning. She provided so many historical facts and really went out of her way to make sure we could maximize our tour despite having a tour right after us. We had an amazing afternoon with Sara at the Vatican, everything from organising the tour to meeting on the day was so smooth, she helped us with so much. The tour itself was outrageously good, I can’t recommend her enough. As a teacher Sara tailored content so well for us, my husband who often struggles to stay interested in big museums was hanging off her every word!! She showed us pieces which were selected so well, they told such a clear story about the history of the state, we both came away absolutely in awe. Sara was a really great guide. All communication was good and she went out of her way to make sure we had the best tickets for the Colosseum and Forum and also then booked us an amazing restaurant for dinner afterwards. She was really informative and pitched the tour perfectly so as to keep our 16 year old daughter engaged too. We did have some rain showers during our tour and Sara managed it so we did not miss anything but also avoided being drenched! From the start, Sara was very responsive. She reached out almost immediately after booking to find out more about us and what we were looking for. Sara was our guide through two marvelous days in Rome. In addition to being our docent, she helped us arrange our train tickets from Florence, tickets to the Colosseum and the Vatican. My niece and I had the pleasure of taking the “Highlights and Hidden Gems of Rome” tour with Sara on Apr 26 and we highly recommend her! Sara is an amazing guide. She clearly loves Rome, it’s history, and all of the beautiful landmarks. The three hours flew by as she was so interesting and easy to listen to. We felt like we were touring the city with a friend. I had mentioned when booking the tour that I had a bad knee so when we met she let me know to ask whenever I needed a break. I very much appreciated it as I took her up on the offer more than once. We also mentioned our disappointment with the cannoli we had previously tried on the trip so she made it a point to stop at a wonderful pasticceria with incredible cannoli and other baked goods! Sooo good! Upon learning we had not secured tickets for the Colosseum she kindly checked with all of her contacts until she found availability. Alas, it did not work out for us but we were so impressed with how she went the extra mile and then some! Thank you, Sara, for making that afternoon so special. My niece has a new obsession with Suppli (rice balls) that you also introduced us to and she can’t stop talking about them! You gave us a lot of wonderful memories and we are very grateful. Sara is an incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and giving tour guide. She organized the tour to ensure as much of the food stalls and options were open and easily accessible. She took time to ask us about preferences and allergies beforehand and really took those into consideration. Communication and information provided before hand was a breeze and made meeting very easy. The food was exceptional and she endeavored to provide us with authentic foods and dishes of Rome, both delicacies and street foods. I won’t spoil the tour by listing the items here. Each location and dish was accompanied by incredible detail to the history of the dish and the different ways it could be served/eaten. In between foods stops along the walk Sara provides wonderful historical facts about Rome, it really was like a mini history tour too! She also asked about additional stops and locations and gave recommendations to those areas willingly. It was clear Sara is passionate about the history of Rome, Roman cuisine, and sharing her knowledge. It felt like you were visiting a friend who had genuine interest in your enjoyment. 10/10 will book again when we are back in Rome or Tuscany! a must-do experience

Our experience with Sara was the highlight of our trip. We took a walking tour of her neighborhood and she showed us all the street art and such. It was very interesting. We then went to her apartment where she made us the most fabulous meal. My little nine-year-old grandson helped her cook, and he loved the experience so much.
