In the project conceived by OMA, two conditions coexist: preservation and the creation of a new architecture which, although separate, confront each other in a state of permanent interaction.

Located in Largo Isarco, in the south of Milan, the compound develops on an overall surface of 19.000 m2/205,000 ft2.

    Six exhibition levels of Torre, project “Atlas”, artists such as Carla Accardi and Jeff Koons, Walter De Maria, Mona Hatoum and Edward Kienholz and Nancy Reddin Kienholz, Michael Heizer and Pino Pascali, William N. Copley and Damien Hirst, John Baldessari and Carsten Höller.

I had one day last minute in Milan and I wanted someone to show me around. Gonzolo was the perfect pic. The whole experience was catered to my interests and felt more like one friend showing their city around to another, much different than a typical scripted and mapped out tour. I loved every minute and I highly recommend. Gonzolo can show you the local spots, or point you into the direction you'd like to go. Super cool guy!Gonzalo = super cool Milan Local :)

Coming to HangarBicocca and seeing Anselm Kiefer’s The Seven Heavenly Palaces and Cerith Wyn Evans The Illuminating Gas was an awe inspiring experience, a must for everyone who is visiting Milan.
