We fully enjoyed the tour with Tomasz.. he is very knowledgeable about the history of Poland during WWII in general and Krakow in particular, so he could guide us through those years, emphasising the important events impacting Krakow in an ‘entertaining’ way, to make it accessible. Tomasz is an excellent communicator and storyteller, which really takes you back to this period. Btw, the museum is really worth a visit, it has been designed in a modern and immersive manner, but without a guide like Tomasz, you risk missing a lot of the ideas behind it.Very interesting… and entertaining

My son and I spent 2 amazing days with our guide, Tomasz. On day 1, with him having made all the arrangements for exhibition/museum tickets for us ahead of time (and arranging the tour guides for the Auschwitz camps), he promptly picked us up from our hotel and drove us both to the Wieliczka salt mine as well as the Auschwitz I/II camps. Along the journey, he regaled us with various stories about the rich history of the Polish peoples and joined us (at our request) for a local Polish lunch. On day 2, Tomasz was both our driver and guide. He toured us through the Schindlers museum, and showed us the Jewish ghetto and Kasimierz districts, followed by a fascinating walking tour of Old Town as well as Nowa Huta. We had some authentic Polish food tastings during our journey, and got to experience tram transport to help feel like a local, if only temporarily. Again he told numerous stories about Polish history and culture, and was informative, entertaining and respectful of me and my son at all times. We felt like old friends at the end of day 2. Tomasz comes with the highest unreserved recommendations. A must have tour guide!!Great visit!

We had a great time on our tour with Tomasz in Krakow. We had asked Tomasz if we could combine food tasting with history on our walking tour of the Old Town area since we only had a couple of days in Krakow, and he did such a good job - it was perfect! He was super-knowledgeable about the history of the area, sharing lots of fun facts, stories, answering questions - he even has a laminated binder to help with the tour! And then he also had wonderful connections for food tastings and had organized everything ahead of time with the lunch restaurant so that we got to try many of the regions food highlights during our time with him from snacks to savories to desserts, including the history/significance for many of the foods! Don’t use this company!!! Seriously a waste of time. Bad value for the money (actually, I would not do this again, even if it was for free. We could do this far better ourselfs). Our guide was uninspiring, seemed like a robot, definitely not possible to connect with. Little food, touristy, nothing new. Thomasz is far from a “foodie”. We made it clear that we were very interested in food and drinks. We chose “with locals” to experience Polish food and drinks, away from touristy areas. Hoping to find hidden gems, and exciting food. We chose this private tour hoping it would be possible to come with wishes to the tour and being able to influence the tour. Tomasz had his whole tour around the main square! We visited places where there were mostly tourists. We made it clear from the beginning that we had already tried the food he introduced us to, and maybe make some changes. He stuck 100% to his “program”. There was little food. We shared everything. For what he called lunch, he ordered us a soup and dumplings to share. We told him we had already tasted dumpling/pierogi with this filling, but still he insisted on ordering the same ones as we had had the day before. I asked which soup he had ordered, again I informed him that we had already tasted this soup. I really expected him to change the order, but he would not. Also, there was nothing to drink! When I asked the waiter for water, he got stressed and told us this was not included in the price. So, what did we get to drink during this 3 hour tour? 1 small shot of vodka!! (which he told us was supposed to be served with herring, but we got cucumbers…). This is not tasting local DRINKS (plural). Also, he just sat there watching us eat…, felt very uncomfortable. I had to buy him a drink. Cheap food, expensive tour, touristy and a boring guide. A total waste of time! Touristy!

The foods we tasted were amazing (not giving any spoilers) but you definitely do not want to eat before going on the tour. We considered the tour a "walking dinner" and were very full at the end. Tomasz was amazing, especially because of the difficulties that we encountered due to the sudden coronavírus lockdown of Kraków during our visit. He was Very understanding and worried about making the best experience for us even though most places were closed. We were his last group for a while and it made the experience even more tailored and special. We learned a lot about the polish history, had a bit of food experience and were given a lot of tips after the experience to walk and discover other parts of the city.
