We really enjoyed our couple of hours with Catherine. It was super informative and the cheese was wonderful. If you want to do something a little different while in Paris, do this. Catherine is a joy and you will not regret it. Know, however, that the cheese shop is in the 19th arrondisement which is a 30 minute taxi drive from the center of Paris (we were on the Ile St. Louis). Totally worth it though! Informative, fun and delicious!Really Great Experience

It was my second trip to Paris and this time I was with my daughter. We wanted to do something memorable together and this was perfect. Catherine, our host, was very friendly and welcoming and we felt comfortable and relaxed throughout. You get a brief geography/history of France and the type of cheeses produced in various regions prior to tasting. Then comes the tasting accompanied by bread and wine (if you fancy). Catherine was not only extremely knowledgeable about the cheeses of France but also a wonderful host to spend the afternoon with. We tasted 7 totally different cheeses from all over France while eating baguette and sipping a delicious wine. She was fun to be with but also very supportive. I made an error regarding our tasting time but rather than giving up on us, she attempted to contact us several times and ultimately waited for us to make sure we were able to do a tasting. We are so thankful she did as the whole experience was great. Sometimes it’s hard to find things to do as a mum with an 18 year old son on a trip, but my son rated this as his number one experience this weekend. Catherine was an excellent host! We enjoyed learning about the history of cheese and how different styles relate to the regions of France. They shut down the shop during the event and so there were not any distractions during our session. Tastings were great and we left very satisfied. Really glad we tried this experience. Such fun to have a Parisian cheese shop to yourselves for a special two-hour experience learning about French cheese while enjoying it with a fresh baguette and delicious wine. Everyone in our group had been to Paris before but none of us had never had a cheese-tasting experience like this one. Catherine gives a very informative and interesting history of why there are different kinds of French cheese. Then it's time to try various cheeses highlighting different regions. (So be prepared that you won't be eating cheese shortly after you sit down...but don't worry, there will be plenty to enjoy.) We loved how this was an authentic, memorable, and delicious Parisian experience that didn't feel touristy at all or like you were being rushed at all. Catherine's English is excellent and she was a warm and wonderful host throughout the entire time. No question, a definite recommend!A great host and a great time!

She was really informative, not only on the cheese themselves but on the but also on the geography and conditions in France that contribute to the different cheeses.
