We would highly recommend Voula. Our group of 4 ladies booked a 5 hour walking/food tour with Voula and we are still talking about it today. Voula was so knowledgeable and personable . Guiding us around was like she was one of our friend group. After meeting for 9:00am we headed over for a mini tasting of a cheese pie and a milk cream pie. From there we explored the history of Athens. Lunch with so many tapas was incredible followed by an olive market sampling. We tried so many different olives. Off to see many different markets including the fish and meat market where Voula arranged a sampling of a Souvlaki a recipe from Northern Greece before heading off for desert of honey donuts and ice coffee. It was the most perfect tour we’ve had yet. Everywhere she took us the people were incredible. One VERY important thing to note, a lady in our group was celiac (very special diet because she also had food allergies) and Voula did an absolute incredible job to manage this. Our friend ate like a queen that day and she was so grateful for that experience. Thank you Voula for that. We highly recommend Voula……Voula thank you once again. It was a perfect day. Ioannis took our group of 4 on a five hour tour of Athens. Ioannis was incredible in his knowledge on just about everything Greek-mythology, ancient history, current history, art, food, music, architecture, and politics. Dionysis gave us an awesome tour of Athens. We really enjoyed our day even with touring with a 2 1/2 year old an 4 month old. He was very flexible and patient with the toddler and adjusted as needed. He was very informative, knows the history of Athens and took us to places only the locals know about!! He made our time with him very adventurous. We did the 5 hour walking tour of Athens with Nico. It was a great tour, he was highly knowledgeable and he delivered the information in a fun, entertaining way. We enjoyed spending time with him as much as the tour itself. His English was excellent and he had no problem understanding our belfast accent. We had a great two days with Thomas, and I highly recommend him to anyone visiting Athens. Our first day was a five hour walking tour of the city, and we had such a great time that a few days later we booked and went on a driving tour exploring the Athens Riviera and the Temple of Poseidon. Both days felt like spending time with a good friend. Thomas is extremely knowledgable about the city and its history, sharing stories and answering questions. He clearly loves what he does, and wants to ensure anyone booking an experience with him has a great time. On both days, he definitely showed us 'hidden gems' that we wouldn't have found by ourselves, which definitely added to the experience. We'd consider a trip back to Athens just to do more of Thomas' experiences! Excellent experience - highly recommend!

Alex was highly knowledgable, friendly and easy going. We enjoyed a 3 hour walking tour around Athens looking at the ancient sites of Athens and some different areas around Athens that we wouldn’t have been confident seeing on our own. We had a fantastic experience with Thomas. He led us on a guided walking tour of the city which took us through all the major sites. Thomas has an encyclopedic knowledge of Greek culture, language and history and was able to contextualize everything we saw. He tailored the pace and itinerary to our interests and engaged with each of our family group in a way that ensured that we all thoroughly enjoyed the day. For us it was a perfect introduction to Athens and set us up for some more self exploration. Nikolas was a bright spot on our last day in Athens. He is a skilled driver and as a Greek native gave us tips on the islands he recommends while in our way to the vineyard. The vineyard tour and tasting was a casual laid back oasis. Nikolas also went above and beyond by dropping us at the airport which was nearby. I highly recommend with locals for day tours. Our tour to Cape Sounio was a wonderful blend of natural beauty and cultural insight. The drive along the Athenian Riviera was absolutely stunning, with sweeping views of the coastline and the Aegean Sea. Ioannis offered insightful and engaging commentary throughout the drive. His deep knowledge of Greek history and mythology was impressive, but what made it even more special was the personal connection he shared with the area (thank you for sharing with us!!). Ioannis was great! We had a personalized tour experience with him. He asked what we were doing afterwards, and we told him the Acropolis, so he designed our tour to end close the Acropolis. He also recommended a restaurant for lunch that had our favorite baklava of the trip! For our actual tour, he showed us around and gave us the history of all the ruins as well as a few secret bars/restaurants that had great ambience (one had a fantastic view). He answered all of our questions, taught us, and took pictures for us. We highly recommend Ioannis!Great guide!

We had an awesome experience with Dimitris. He is relaxed, yet very well organized, he cared about making sure we were enjoying ourselves. He brought us to places we would have never found on our own, off the beaten tourist path. He made sure we discovered the best authentic Greek food, and we had plenty to eat! I warned Alex in advance that I was bringing a mythology and history major with me … he did not disappoint! He did an amazing job of bringing the Acropolis and Parthenon to life and had all the mythological tea to spill on the gods and goddesses. Truly an education and also highly entertaining. He can do it all and is an absolute delight to spend a day with. Bonus - he brings pictures making it so easy for your imagination to keep up with the story telling. Wow, what a great experience we had touring the Acropolis and the museum with Alexandros. He was so great at weaving the stories of mythology and made the statues come to life in the museum. You can tell by the look in his eyes when he speaks, how passionate he is about the history of the Acropolis. He did an amazing job of keeping us interested and engaged while we toured. We travel many times a year and often do a food tasting tour the first day. This was the worst food tour we have ever experienced. The food we tasted was incredibly unimaginative (for example: a package of oregano and a package of bread sticks from a supermarket as two of the tastings!) Evanthia did not seem to have any real knowledge of Greek food, nor did she take us anywhere to taste any interesting local cuisine, except 2 pieces of filo pie we shared between the 5 of us. I DO NOT recommend a food tour with Evanthia. We were hugely underwhelmed.Disappointing food tour with Evanthia
