I couldn't believe how quickly the 5 hours went by! Jordi was engaging, passionate, and thoughtful during our entire time together. Walking through various areas of the city, he re-introduced me to Barcelona from a historical, cultural and architectural perspective. It was truly the best way to start my 2 weeks visit as I had a great grasp of the different areas and where I wanted to go back to spend more time. We had an incredible time on the 10 Tastings of Barcelona tour with Maria. She was warm, flexible (even rescheduling when our flights were delayed), and went out of her way to accommodate our vegetarian, non-alcoholic family—including our kids (ages 8, 14, and 16) and grandparents! The food was absolutely delicious—Spanish omelet, toasted tomato bread, and an unforgettable vegetarian paella at a place she brings her own family. Maria is a lovely young woman with a keen sense of humor. We started the tour with a churro and rich chocolate dipping sauce, and an illuminating description of the structure of contemporary Barcelona which we soon visited. We then went to a neighborhood restaurant where we ate 5 or 6 tapas and had two drinks common to Barcelona. The culinary tour ended at a bar where we each (wife and I) had a glass of wine and 2 pintxos, one of the exquisite finger foods in this world.Our time with the Catalan storyteller

Octavio was very knowledgeable about the Barcelona, as well as the history of the city and Catalan culture. He also gave us several recommendations for the remainder of our trip -- late-night spots for drinks, brunch and cafe recs, and things to do in Tossa de Mar (where we were headed next). I highly recommend booking with Octavio early on in your trip so you can enjoy his recommendations throughout the remainder of your stay. Federico really knows his stuff and then some. Never thought getting to grips with the Habsburgs, Bourbons and thalassocratic Aragonese Empire could be fun but he managed to make all the historical influences comprehensible and vivid by referring to artefacts in the landscape. The tour moved at a manageable pace and Federico avoided predictably over-crowded areas by steering us towards lesser-known but no less impressive buildings, monuments and other works from Gaudi, Picasso etc. Venues for break stops were stylish, well-chosen and obscure: several would have been impossible to find without his guidance.Entertaining and educational

Our group of 4 senior women had a most wonderful tapas experience with Alan . Upon request he greeted us at our hotel as we had only just flown in that afternoon from Sydney ( a gruelling flight ) He gave us a patient and detailed experience of how to use the metro system, travelling alongside us. Lusi hat uns (zwei befreundete Pärchen) bei ihrer Tour die Highlights der Altstadt und einige absolute Geheimtipps gezeigt. Auf die Idee, dass man in einem Hotel auf der Rambla einen super Blick vom Roof top hat und einfach mit dem Lift da hinauffahren kann, wären wir von allein nie gekommen. Das kleine Geschäft, in dem "Das Parfüm" gedreht wurde, war ebenfalls ein Erlebnis. In ihrer quirligen Art wusste Lusi so viel zu erzählen, dass die vereinbarte Zeit gar nicht gereicht hat. Es war nicht selbstverständlich, dass sie noch reichlich eine halbe Stunde drangehängt hat. Toll! Außerdem hat sie uns hilfreiche Tipps zu öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln gegeben, verraten, wo man nix essen sollte und wo es die frischesten Lebensmittel gibt (Mercat de la Bouqueria), welche Sachen sich lohnen, besichtigt zu werden und was man als Tourist in dieser schönen Stadt alles zu beachten hat. Am nächsten Tag hat sie uns noch alle Fotos geschickt, die sie gemacht hat und das in bearbeiteter Form!! Lusi ist ein super Guide und hat ihre Begeisterung direkt auf uns übertragen. Unbedingt empfehlenswert, und am besten - so wie wir - gleich am 1. Urlaubstag einplanen. Gut zu Fuß sollte man aber durchaus sein, Lusi ist fit wie ein Turnschuh und flink wie ein Wiesel. Danke nochmal Lusi! Top Stadtführung!

We were joining a larger group tour 2 days after our arrival in Barcelona. We asked Alessandro to arrange a walking tour that would visit other areas of the city and not overlap the group tour itinerary. We also asked to arrange a day trip out of Barcelona. Our exploration of food in Barcelona started only a few hours after landing. Bianca is charming and knows her way around the traditional food of Catalonia. After two days we have yet to find patates braves as good as the ones we had with her. Starting with the Sant Antoni market was brilliant. Much less crowded and touristy than Boqueria. We enjoyed the fideua, cod, spinach. She knows a great place for horchata. Definitely try the sopresada at her special place near but not in Boqueria. Her tour was a delightful and passionate introduction to food in Barcelona and you cannot go wrong with her recommendations. Wonderful taste of Barcelona

Was glad we paid for the experience. The cost seemed pricey to me compared to other experiences we had booked but the 3 hours did include our snacks at various spots.
