We did the family friendly tour of Barcelona with Ramona and it was great. My 10 year old daughter immediately felt comfortable with her and was practicing her Spanish and holding her hand. Even my hard to please husband had a good time and enjoyed the information Ramona provided and the tapas recommendations she suggested. It was very easy to get along with Ramona and she felt more like an old friend than a new tour guide we had just met - we cannot recommend Ramona enough. She was fantastic! I booked a tour of Sagrada Familia with Alessandro as a way to celebrate my husband's 65th birthday. It was his first time in Spain and I wanted to do something really special on the big day. I had never before scheduled a private tour without going through a hotel concierge so I wasn't sure what to expect, but am SO glad that I went this route and will definitely do so again in the future! Alessandro is kind, knowledgable, and passionate about history, art and culture. He made our time fun, interesting and incredibly memorable. I made a few requests in advance of our time together, and Alessandro was more than happy to oblige. He responded promptly to chat messages, we met him right on time, he got us past all the lines, handled the purchasing of our tickets in advance, and gave us tons of insight and information we would not have otherwise had. The process was smooth and everything was easy, which is just what you want when you're on vacation. The whole experience added such a lovely depth and richness to our visit to Sagrada Familia, and Barcelona overall, and made my husband's birthday all the more special and unique. If you are going to Barcelona and want a more in-depth experience, don't hesitate to schedule a tour with Alessandro, you will be SO glad that you did! We liked our time with Laura. She was punctual and pleasant. We appreciated her flexibility during the planning stage and she was quick to respond and suggest tweaks to the plan. The actual “tour” was ok - she provided high level overview of various Gaudí buildings however the depth was lacking - we had higher expectations given her architectural background however she only provided very high level information which was somewhat disappointing. Overall if you are looking for a nice walk through Barcelona and high level overview of Gaudí and his creations Laura works be a good choice. If you are looking for an in depth dive into the architecture and architect - looks elsewhere. Good high level overview of Gaudi and city

Lusi ist die beste Reiseführerin, die uns in Barcelona passieren konnte. Ich kenne Barcelona von mehreren Urlauben schon ganz gut, reise aber dieses Mal das 1. Mal mit meinen Eltern (82 & 76 Jahre) zusammen nach Barcelona und wollte mir selber eine Freude machen mit der Tour "Hidden Gems" um ggf. noch dazuzulernen & Neues zu entdecken. Absolute Empfehlung diese Tour am Anfang eines Barcelona Urlaubs zu machen, dann bleibt genug Zeit, um vieles was Lusi aufgrund der Zeit nur auf der Tonspur erzählen kann, auch zu erleben. Für den 82.igsten Geburtstag meines Papa´s habe ich auch die "Montserrat Tour" mit Wanderung bei Lusi gebucht - lange im Voraus :-). Ein unvergessliche Erlebnis. Jetzt zu den Fakten: Lusi spricht ein phantastisches Deutsch - das war für meine Eltern sehr wichtig und ich konnte mich entspannen, weil ich nicht ständig übersetzen musste. Sie ist sehr wissend, aufmerksam, höflich, ein Energiebündel, eine wunderbar positive Persönlichkeit. Es macht unglaublich viel Freude mit ihr Barcelona & das Leben zu genießen. Recently visited Barcelona and booked a food tour through 'Withlocals', specifically with Federico. I can honestly say it was a highlight of our visit ! Federico was engaging, knowledgeable and full of interesting facts about Barcelona, Catalunya and Spain. He covered everything from local landmarks and history through to economics and politics, a great range of discussion that extended our knowledge of this wonderful city. But ... The best bit was that he took us to some wonderful places to eat and drink that we wouldn't have visited otherwise. The quality of food and wine we experienced was excellent, all in establishments that were truly 'local'. We ended up going back to a couple of these during the remainder of our stay for our evening meals. I would highly recommend booking this experience and if you're lucky enough to pair up with Federico you will have a fantastic time !! Great experience with a great guide !!

Lusi is so fantastic. She is fun and spontaneous and so down to earth. She is multilingual and so well traveled and that experience of hers right there definitely gives her tours a unique perspective. I loved my tour with Lusi because she showed me so many places in Barcelona that are cute and where actual locals go. I only had three and a half days in Barcelona and it’s because of her that I was able to maximize my experience and go to so many places in such a short time without feeling like I missed out on anything. As a female solo traveler Lusi also took me to places that I could enjoy and interact with people without it being so noticeable that I was traveling solo. She even took the time to send me a detailed list with links of the places that we went after the tour was over. Now that is above and beyond.Excellent city hostess for solo travelers
