Mijn mama en ik deden onlangs een stadswandeling met Christophe en zijne maat Roel en we waren onder de indruk van de gidsen! Hun aangename en vriendelijke manier van vertellen maakte de wandeling echt bijzonder. Ze deelden talloze interessante verhalen en leuke weetjes over de stad, vaak met grappige kwinkslagen die ons aan het lachen maakten. Bovendien was een groot deel van de wandeling in het Brussels, wat voor een authentieke en unieke ervaring zorgde. Eric was knowledgable and enjoyed the subject. Good company too. I had a lot of questions as I already knew quite a lot about the chyronology of the battle - or thought I did ! Seeing the topography and putting the chronology into context was a salutary experience. Extraordinary to visit there alone. Nevermind the main battle site. Still can't quite fathom the French obsession (a costly one) with Hougoumont. A bit late to ask Napoleon now. Well worth the time spent looking at the whole site and gleaning Eric's knowledge to complement my perception.Ask Eric Anything

Wir hatten das große Vergnügen, eine 3-stündige Tour durch Brüssel mit Christophe zu erleben, und es war einfach fantastisch! Christophe ist ein äußerst sympathischer und freundlicher Guide, der uns mit viel Leidenschaft und Fachwissen die Stadt nähergebracht hat. Er hat uns nicht nur die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten gezeigt, sondern auch einige versteckte Ecken, die wir alleine sicher nie gefunden hätten. Wir waren begeistert von Christophes umfassendem Wissen – keine unserer Fragen blieb unbeantwortet, und seine Erklärungen waren immer spannend und leicht verständlich. Die Tour hat super viel Spaß gemacht, und wir haben Brüssel von einer neuen Seite kennengelernt. We had a 6 hour layover in Brussels. It was very easy taking the train from the airport 2 stops to Brussels Central Station where we met Christophe. He took us around the city for 3 hours giving us an overview of the history of the city, the neighborhoods of past and present, the thriving chocolate & food scenes, and entertainment scenes, and street art.Make tje most of a layover

Merci encore une fois, Éric, pour ta superbe visite sur l’Art Nouveau. J’étais déjà très heureuse que j’en ai trouvé une, car au départ cela paraissait sans chance malgré le fait que Bruxelles est la capitale de ce style. Pendant plus de 3 heures on a parcouru plusieurs endroits tout en se déplaçant en moyens de transport en commun et vu une belle quantité de splendides maisons Art Nouveau, des témoins éloquents de leur temps. En étant une passionnée de ce style, je n’arrêtais pas de prendre de photos jusqu’à ce que mon portable ne se soit éteint juste devant la dernière maison :). Qu’est-ce que le temps passe vite quand on est en bonne compagnie et on apprend beaucoup de choses intéressantes !Merci Eric

Eric nos recibió en un día especial para la ciudad vestido con un traje tradicional; nos sumergió en un paseo histórico por el centro de Bruselas, haciendo referencia no solamente a datos históricos sinó también a leyendas, acompañandolo todo con notas de humor que nos hicieron reir un buen rato. Destacar que Eric respondió con creces las preguntas relacionadas con temas históricos y políticos que nuestro hijo mayor hizo, con un dominio espectacular de la historia, no sólo de Bruselas, sinó también de Bélgica y de Europa. También comentar que Eric nos recomendó un buen número de sitios donde comer o tomar alguna cosa, tanto locales turísticos como sitios más autóctonos. We went by train from Amsterdam to Paris and decided to stop in Brussels for a few hours as we had never been before. Christophe meet us at the train station and offered to show us how to store our luggage, but we had figured it out ourselves. We then went on an amazing walking tour with Christophe seeing a good amount of old sites, churches, plazas, shopping areas and more! Christophe was very knowledgeable about the history of Brussels. He then dropped us back at the train station. Highly recommend!Excellent and fun tour with Christophe!

We only had a few hours in Brussels and Christophe was a perfect guide. He met us at the train station and we had a wonderful 3 hours with him. He is knowledgeable and very personable. Spent a very nice morning with Christophe, learnt so much about Brussels, Belgium & the EU. Saw all the sights as well as some off the tourist track like the secluded area where the River Seine still runs. Managed to also have time at the end to sample some choice Belgian beers. We had a great time with Christophe. He easily mixed the cultural in with in local Belgian beers so we had a nice relaxing cultural tour of the old city center. His knowledge of local culture and customs as well as the history was a real. He also was able to show us some aspects that many tourists never see.
