Really good experience as a first time visitor in Budapest. Booked the 5 hour tour and it was a nice experience. Zsofia took the time to show me round the city with quite a few delightful detours. Cabbage strudel in one of the markets, the beautiful library, the Paris passage and the ruin bar in the Jewish district. And she was so kind, waiting with me for a while to get a taxi. Zsofia has a very chill calm energy which worked very well. The hours went by so quickly and very enjoyable. Would recommend spending the day with Zsofia to show you round. Great tour with Zsofia

It was a great introduction and overview of what we would be experiencing during our time in Budapest. Andras provided great insight and context about the City, the country and the region. We had an amazing tour with Gabor. Not only did he take us to all the main tourist spots, he also took us to places that typically would have been missed by tourists. Gabor is a fount of knowledge. I was traveling solo to Budapest so wanted to book a local guide to show me around. I chose Beata for a 5-hour tour. I chatted with her prior to the tour to let her know that I had injured my foot so would need to take it easy. It was supposed to rain that day, but Beata assured me we would still have fun. She even offered to meet me at my hotel. From the minute she arrived, I felt very comfotable with her. She was very easy to talk to. She took me to all the places I wanted to see and to some hidden gems. We stopped to try a langosh and beer. The whole time she asked me how I was doing, mindful of my injured foot. The tour through Budapest was amazing. We walked all the way through Pest looking at the sights and historic buildings. István was very good at explaining the history and current relevance of each of the primary buildings as well as other statues and parks we looked at. The tour then moved onto the Buda side where we looked at castle hill. Overall the tour was greatly detailed and well structured even with a short notice booking and customisation request. I would recommend István for anyone looking for a tour of Budapest.A great tour of Budapest.

We've been on several excellent private walking tours with various companies, but our time with Nicholas in Budapest has been the best! His knowledge of Hungary's history and enthusiasm for conveying it was superb. He didn't have a regimented schedule, but instead was flexible based on our interests. Gabor was a font of knowledge about Budapest. He covered all the main sites and lots of hidden gems that you just don’t find in the guide books. Nick was one of the best guides I've ever had. He oriented me in the city first and as we walked (for hours) from Buda to Pest, talked to me about the storied history from its ancient roots to its current space in the geopolitical landscape. We had a brillant day with Gabor We were only in Budapest for 1 day and when i looked back at the guide book we covered lierally everything in it that we wanted to do! It was so good not having to lool at the map and getting info about what we were looking at. He was very interesting and informative without over whelming us with boring dates and stuff.
