Spending the afternoon with Marty at the Uffizi was like being with an old friend. She was friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. She showed us the important paintings and the history of each one. We wanted to see the Caravaggios, which might not have been on her normal “route”, but she made it possible to show them to us. We also went through the Vasari Corridor which was very special to experience. A great tour with someone who was attentive and very much enjoyed art history! Grazie! Uffizi con mi amica

We had an incredible full-day tour of Florence with Dina as our private guide, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience! Dina was the best! We booked a Highlights and hidden gems tour in Florence for my husband and 2 kids 15/13. Dina was truly awesome. Communication was fantastic pre tour and during - she provided us with so many fun facts and interesting stories. (Ones you can’t google!) We saw sights, learned the history and her restaurant knowledge is A+. Dina was so easy to be with, very personable and fun. She is also so kind and super helpful. My daughter, 13 missed the tour because she was sick. Dina had checked in with me to see how she was doing and if we needed anything. Wow! How incredibly thoughtful. Dina goes above and beyond. Truly a magical evening with Anna! This tour was so much more than we expected, reading the description I wasn’t sure exactly how we would fit everything in without feeling rushed, but everything was perfect. I love that we got a taste of everything that’s amazing about Florence: wine, Gnudi, cheese, Negroni, Wild Boar Strew, Gelato! There wasn’t anything I would have changed about the evening. Anna was knowledgeable and kind while also keeping us safe and happy. For anyone nervous about the walking aspect of the tour, you stay within the same small area and it wasn’t very strenuous. There was a mix up by your company and not enough vans came. We were cramped into 2 vans. Our tour guide and our driver (Anna and Cristiano) stepped up , along with the other van driver, and found a solution. They deserve a lot of credit for their problem solving. That is why I gave this tour a high rating. The company really did not seem to be able to solve the searing shortage. We had a wonderful tour with Martina. She was very knowledgeable and did a great job giving us context and antidotes about the medieval and renaissance Florence. Incredibly personable and flexible with organizing the tour for us. My kiddo really likes pedestrian bridges and Martina arranged for us to finish up at Ponte Vecchio with a discussion of it so that when we parted ways we could further explore that area. Concise tour of the Central market, small local family businesses and a family run restaurant to taste some of the authentic food produced in the city. Anna gave us lots of intetesting background information about the origins of the food and the families running the businesses, all adding to the experience. Amazing biscotti, pistachio cream, truffle products and the best traditional gelato!! Highly recommended.A good insight into some great traditional food.
