Giuly was wonderful! We asked her to put together a personal tour of the Pitti Palace and Boboli Gardens for my nephew and myself and Guily delivered. She was thorough and yet provided space to allow our experience of what she was showing us. We found this to be a nice balance of information and experience. Not only that but she connected our experience with other historical landmarks in relation to the Palace and Gardens that were in different parts of Florence. This gave us a larger perspective of understanding the time in which we were peering into. Guily herself was delighful, light hearted, and attuned to our experience and pacing. She was helpful with other recommendations about what to do in the city from resturants to piazzas. My 18 uear old nephew even commented that it was one of his favorite tours because it was so easliy informative but digestable. Giorgio took us on a great food and local knowledge tour of Florence. We started with a very informative stroll through the farmers market. Next, we walked through the streets as he explained some of the historic buildings and the stories behind them. Along the way, we stopped at several places and sampled food and beverage that the locals enjoy. It didn’t seem like we had enough time. Dina took us on a great tour of the Uffizi Gallery and the Accademia Gallery. She was very responsive in planning our tour and made adjustments based on what I requested. She was willing to do less than the usual 4 hour tour since we thiught that would be too long for us. Dina was such a great guide that she made our time at the museums one of our favorite activities. She knew just the right pace to go and how much detail to give us to keep it interesting for our group of six. Aside from being so informative she was so fun and easy to be with. We were a group of friends, some of us had been to Florence before and some for the first time. We wanted to explore the city with an expert guide, someone who had the inside track on not just the most popular spots, but also those hidden gems which only a city with the history of Florence can offer. Alessandra was an amazing guide with whom we spent the entire day. She knew when we needed a coffee break, just to rest the feet for a bit. She also took us to an amazing local restaurant where the pasta was absolutely delicious and only €7 a head. There were so many interesting sights, including a rooftop view of the city from an ancient tower, a boutique perfumery which was originally run by Dominican friars and several frescoes and paintings in small churches you would never find yourself. I can really recommend Alessandra if you want to delve into this historic city. A wonderful day exploring Florence

We loved our family tour with Dina. She kept our 6 and 9 year olds entertained for the 2 hour walking tour. Dina is friendly and the stories she told us of Florence we would never have learnt about by ourselves. Marco’s tour heightened our experience by incorporating both Medici and Demidoff tales as well as the Italian concept of perspective to build the biggest and boldest villa of its time. The Villa is gone now but the family chapel remains and of course the 35” tall colossus sculpture. He engaged us with the battle and betrayal of two Medici brothers vying for the Grand Duke title. Franchesco was the first born renaissance man as grand Duke and the second brother Fernando was the second born cardinal who wanted the power and title. Gratzie Marco for the memories.You rock Marco!
