Eduardo was a fantastic tour guide. He was patient with our large group ranging from age 3 to age 82. We spent 5 hours with him and saw so much of Florence. He also was wonderful with recommending other things to do and see during our stay. We would highly recommend Eduardo; he even mentioned he could do trips to Siena and other cities. His background as a history teacher added so much interesting color to the tour as well. Definitely book him if you are looking for a local guide! Awesome tour of Florence!

What a great time with Maja who accommodated our time restraints and especially our need for pizza! We had all visited Florence in the past and looked at all the beautiful sights, but we lacked understanding of the city, its history and its people. Maja and I communicated prior to meeting regarding tickets, and logistics. We met on time (yay!) at the designated spot, and Maja was friendly and got to know us a bit before heading into the Accademia. She was very knowledgable and we visited the most important and interesting things there. On the walk from the Accademia to the Uffizi, Maja gave us a bit of a walking tour, and pointed out historical and interesting facts, but also chatted with us about our lives and her own. It was really nice to make a connection. At the Uffizi, again, we touched on the highlights and learned a lot - she also got to know what the most interesting things were for our family and made sure she customized based on this. She was incredibly accommodating, friendly, knowledgable and we had a GREAT time!Maja was GREAT!

We booked a private Uffizi highlights tour with Alessia for €255. Unfortunately, she never contacted us in advance and only responded when I messaged her the morning of—at which point she canceled, saying she was sick. While we understand that things happen, there was no proactive communication. We also weren’t told that we needed to purchase our own museum admission tickets. The listing states “skip the line access,” so we assumed the tour fee would be paid to the guide. This should be clearly outlined in the tour description and confirmed ahead of time by the guide. Thankfully, Maja stepped in at the last minute and was truly fantastic. She was warm, knowledgeable, and brought the art to life with stories and historical context that made the Uffizi unforgettable. We’d rate Maja a 10 out of 10 and would absolutely recommend her. That said, since Alessia did not communicate proactively or officially transfer the booking, our overall experience with the original guide was a generous 7 of 10.

We had the most lovely tour with Alessandra— you should absolutely book with her! She is a warm and knowledgeable host who knows all the ins and outs of Florence. She joined my family of two parents and two teenage girls and took us into an area I would not have found. It was like seeing all of the local spots buried in a touristy area - beautiful! We loved visiting a few old churches (with incredible frescoes and histories to enjoy), and squares, and got to take in a beautiful view, as well as some modern art. After learning that we are avid readers, she found a lovely bookshop/cafe for us to relax and cool down with a coffee and snack - we were the only Americans there, which I can’t say about anywhere else we have visited! She also found us some tickets to a classical music concert for that evening, AND dropped us off at a wonderful trattoria (again- local!) for lunch. She really tailored the day to what we wanted. Dina took us on a great tour of the Uffizi Gallery and the Accademia Gallery. She was very responsive in planning our tour and made adjustments based on what I requested. She was willing to do less than the usual 4 hour tour since we thiught that would be too long for us. Dina was such a great guide that she made our time at the museums one of our favorite activities. We were a group of friends, some of us had been to Florence before and some for the first time. We wanted to explore the city with an expert guide, someone who had the inside track on not just the most popular spots, but also those hidden gems which only a city with the history of Florence can offer. Alessandra was an amazing guide with whom we spent the entire day. She knew when we needed a coffee break, just to rest the feet for a bit. She also took us to an amazing local restaurant where the pasta was absolutely delicious and only €7 a head. There were so many interesting sights, including a rooftop view of the city from an ancient tower, a boutique perfumery which was originally run by Dominican friars and several frescoes and paintings in small churches you would never find yourself. I can really recommend Alessandra if you want to delve into this historic city. A wonderful day exploring Florence

Maja couldn't make the tour and found us the replacement guide. Maja communicated efficiently and answered all my questions while she took care of the replacement.
