What a great afternoon. João is a wonderful conversationalist and a knowledgeable native of Lisbon. He gave us the perfect walking tour through various neighborhoods in Lisbon. Jorge brought me to a seafood place and had the most amazing shrimps I've had in my life. He ended up peeling them for me cause I was too slow 🤣 In the short time I had with him I learned a lot about the history and culture of Lisbon and felt that it provided me a great understanding of the area. If you guys are in Lisbon I definitely recommend booking a tour with Jorge. He was knowledgable not only on the history + culture but also political and social affairs. My wife and I had the pleasure of Jorge for our walking tour. Jorge has a unique insight to Lisbon because of his profession outside the tourism industry. Our tour lasted 5 hours and was at a pace I could keep up with. I'm not fan of walking but he made it fun with plenty of stops with good food, a wealth of information and "Hidden Gems". Our walking tour with Jorge was definitely a highlight of our trip. Antonio was a wonderful tour guide for our food tour! He was pleasant and easy to chat with, while providing a nice selection of foods at 4 different locations. Being with him in the restaurants was like being with a friend — he answered our questions, provided information about each dish, and even went out of his way to order an extra small taste of an item that we were curious about. It was nice to be treated like a local at the restaurants because we were with him, especially at one of the restaurants where the staff came over and welcomed us as if we were old friends. We learned a lot about Portuguese food, and we ate lots! Definitely come hungry! You will not be disappointed!Great tour!

Ângelo is an outstanding guide. He is passionate about his country and his city and is eager to offer you historical context (complete with photos and videos on his iPad) about every place you go. His communication style is also great. He reached out the day we booked to get to know us and ask what we were looking for in a tour. He asked where we were staying and ultimately started the tour from the hotel, arriving 15 minutes early. He gave us dozens, and I mean dozens, of ideas of places to go or eat. And he gave us a super convenient methodology to avoid climbing one of Lisbon’s many hills, to get back to our hotel via a “shortcut.” I’d book another tour with him in an instant. The tour was booked for 3 hours but Ângelo asked if we minded going longer than that. We were enjoying chatting and walking so much that the time went fast - we ended up doing a 4.5 hour tour. Sónia was an amazing tour guide with lots of knowledge and factoids about Lisbon and Portugal. It was wonderful to see Lisbon by foot and experience the food delicacies. We took our two boys (11 yo & 3 yo) on the food tour and although adventures eaters, didn't partake in about half of the foods or in the alcohol tastings. We thoroughly enjoyed Sónia and she was wonderful with the boys, this tour would have been better if their was a discounted rate for kids. I'm glad we did the tour as a family, but the price-value rating is low for having to pay full price for kids.Wonderful Family Portugal Food Experience!

Lucia has such a wealth of knowledge of Lisbon where our family of 4 with 2 children enjoyed the walk wonderfully. She was engaging and inquisitive, while also generous in sharing her background stories (which was quite amazing). She knew Lisbon so well with safe shortcuts and elevators to be considerate of children, while taking us to spots to enjoy the views. She had little fun games with the children, while sharing interesting cultural nuggets. She brought us to wonderful pastry shops, while walking us through a little tunnel of incredible murals of major seminal events of Portugal. With the rains came toward the end of the tour, she made quick adjustments to ensure we still enjoyed our final walks, and shared with us further interesting places to go.
