Redouan a été mon guide avec une visite personnalisée pour mes quatre premières heures à Marrakech. La rencontre s'est faite de manière très simple et flexible dans mon Riad. En raison des longues attentes à l'aéroport, j'ai été retardée et Redouan a eu la gentillesse de reporter notre rendez-vous de 45 minutes. Après un agréable échange cognitif autour d'un délicieux thé à la menthe, nous avons commencé le tour par une visite du Musée de la musique de Mouassine, spontanément proposée par Redouan étant donné mon intérêt pour la danse. Le bâtiment est très joliment décoré dans un style marocain traditionnel. De plus, il y a un restaurant avec une terrasse sur le toit qui offre une belle vue. Le fait d'être accompagnée par Redouan a été un grand avantage car il a pu me raconter et m'expliquer les différents types de rythmes, d'instruments, de danses et de traditions que l'on connaît au Maroc. Nous avons ensuite visité le jardin secret et la madrasa de Ben Youssef (magnifique!), là encore la compagnie de Redouan m'a été très utile, nous avons évité toutes les files d'attente et il m'a expliqué plusieurs détails qui m'auraient sûrement échappé si j'avais été seule. Ensuite, notre visite s'est poursuivie vers des Suq supérieurs, que j'ai eu le plaisir de visiter sans me sentir obligée d'acheter. A ma demande, nous sommes allés chez un vendeur d'épices où, après une présentation des différents produits, j'ai fait mes achats et j'ai pu visiter la belle terrasse avec vue. Enfin, Redouan m'a emmené dans un Suq avec de la nourriture de rue très local, où j'ai eu la chance de boire un café du désert épicé d'une qualité exceptionnelle. Sur le chemin du retour, nous sommes passés par d'autres Suq où divers artistes m'ont gentiment fait des démonstrations et expliqué leurs méthodes de travail. Redouan a été d'une extrême gentillesse tout au long du trajet. J'ai trouvé très agréable que nous rencontrions souvent par hasard des gens qui le connaissaient et le saluaient chaleureusement et qui, par conséquent, me saluaient de la même manière. Bien que pressé par une autre visite un peu plus tard, Redouan a eu la gentillesse de me reconduire à mon Riad car je n'étais pas sûre de pouvoir m'y retrouver seule. Dans la soirée, il a également eu la gentillesse de répondre à plusieurs de mes messages lui demandant les noms de certains restaurants que nous avions croisés et qu'il m'avait recommandés pendant le tour. Un grand merci donc à vous Redouan pour votre temps, votre flexibilité et votre gentillesse. La prochaine fois, je vous apporterai des tablettes de chocolat suisse, c'est promis! My friend and I booked this personal tour with Redouan because it was our first time in Marrakesh and we wanted to get a first impression and overview of this vibrant city. We preferred a route that was not one of those taken by most of the tourists and Redouan chose it wisely. We could enjoy Ben Youssef Medersa without having too many other tourists around us, we wandered in the Souks and could watch the locals while doing their daily jobs, selling their traditional products; it was a memoriable experience and we felt very well looked after by Redouan. Instead of the busy Majorelle Garden our guide that spoke very well English brought us to The Secret Garden and the visit was worthwhile. We could take a break from the busy streets we had walked and enjoy the plants and well maintained garden. Redouan took us on a ride with the Tuktuk through the narrow alley and this was adventurous and big fun! We had a laugh! We felt very safe during the 5,5 hours and Redouan answered all our questions and this was very informative. We booked our highlight tour with Adil for our first day in Marrakech. Adil was really happy, friendly and engaged us all (including our 15 year old) with his knowledge and facts about his city. Adil’s tour took in Bahia Palace (extra entrance fee which we knew at time of booking) which really brought the place to life, and gave us so much more than if we’d visited the palace alone. Having been to Marrakech before, I would have liked to have seen some more of the hidden areas in the souks, but only a small point. A Magical Day Trip to the Atlas Mountains with Brahim! We booked the Day Trip from Marrakech to the Atlas Mountains with Ibrahim, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable parts of our entire stay in Morocco. The perfect contrast to the vibrant energy of Marrakech – peaceful, scenic, and deeply authentic. Brahim picked us up in the morning, and from the very first moment, we felt in good hands. He’s not only an excellent driver but also a wonderful storyteller. During the drive, we listened to Moroccan music, chatted about the region, and enjoyed his stories that brought the surroundings to life. We took the trip with our two children, aged 8 and 11, and they connected with Brahim right away. He was incredibly kind and attentive to them, always making sure they were comfortable, entertained, and enjoying every part of the experience. To break up the drive, we stopped several times – for a delicious tasting of argan oil paired with mint tea and local products, and for a visit to an authentic market in Asni. That market was unlike anything we’ve seen before – bustling, raw, and full of life. The kids were fascinated by the variety of goods and the local atmosphere. Once we reached the mountains, we set off on a scenic trek. It lasted about an hour and a half, but time flew by with all the stops for photos, stories, snacks, and breathtaking views. It was active, fun, and suitable even for our youngest. The highlight, however, was visiting the village where Ibrahim grew up. There, we enjoyed the most delicious and authentic lunch on a rooftop terrace – traditional tanjia, fresh bread, Moroccan tea – all while gazing out over the majestic Atlas Mountains. It was peaceful, beautiful, and felt like a true cultural exchange. Ibrahim knows the area inside out, and thanks to his calm, warm, and knowledgeable presence, we felt relaxed and truly immersed in the day. We’re so thankful for this experience – it was more than a tour, it was a meaningful connection with a very special place and person.Family-Friendly and Full of Heart

It was only two of us on the tour, and it felt lazy- I was not impressed, as it turned into a shopping tour- it felt like Redouan took us to all his friend’s shops. His friends were very keen to show us all of the products. I had to keep saying ‘no, not now, we will look later.’ I did not want this on the tour- I can go shopping in my own time. My family and I had a wonderful stroll through the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh. Never having been there I was a bit wary of what it would be like but Mohamed immediately put us to ease with his friendly conversation and interesting facts. He spoke often to our daughters and included them in games and trivia about Morocco. We passed live film sets, all sorts of markets and stalls and had a lovely coffee break so the girls could replenish their energy. Mohamed was full of tips and recommendations. We booked him in the morning which was a great thing because we had a full afternoon to back track to things we passed that needed further exploration and to visit some of the many recommendations he had. 10/10 would do again. This was our first time in Morocco, with two small children in tow. I wanted to get comfortable in the Medina with an expert before spending time there solo, and I'm so glad we chose Ouidad for it. Her communication was great from the start; I asked if she could make the tour more "child-friendly", focusing on interesting things to see and do rather than history and architecture. Ouidad accommodated us completely and made it an unforgettable time together; I genuinely felt so happy to be spending the time with her, and she made it fun and interactive for the kids. First time visitors to Marrakech, we only had a couple of full days to enjoy the city and wanted to make the most of it. I cant think of a better way to do it than spend a few hours in the company of Redouan. He is friendly and will go out of his way to make sure you see the best, We wanted to focus on the souks and we didnt come back empty handed. My wife and I made a last minute booking for a historical and hidden gems tour of Marrakech with Redouan for our last afternoon / evening in the city, and it was unforgettable! Redouan shared some history of the city and its quarters and he took us to some smaller / quieter places away from the main routes of the Medina / souks. If you are up for it, he also can take you to some higher quality vendors, co-operatives, and shops where the owners are more upfront with their wares and show you how they construct items. The highlight was our visit to Madrasa Ben Youssef...we were rushing to get there before they closed and we had just missed the closure when Redouan saw the curator on the back of a moped. The curator instructed the moped driver to take us back and open the breathtaking school just for us. We had a lovely dinner above the main square overlooking the main mosque...Redouan called ahead to ensure they had some certain dishes he thought we would try. The Mayor was a fabulous host, and we highly recommend him! The Mayor of Marrakech

Redouan was wonderful! He is extremely knowledgeable and helped us get a feel for some history, local culture, and the many different types of artisans and local techniques. He was extremely accommodating and entertaining for me and my 10 year old son. Wonderful tour!

We met at an easy location and walk through the souks and square for a couple of hours stopping for a bite to eat at local places along the way. Trying new things we never would have had. It’s nice to be with a local. Adil is a very nice guy. Happy and full of information and knowledge about the medina and the history of Marrakesh. Thank you Adil. Adil the knowledge.

An excellent historical and cultural tour of Marrakesh. Redouan was very knowledgeable and friendly in his approach. We learnt about the historical buildings and local communities, taking us deep into the artisan areas of the souks.
