We had hoped to see the Frida Kahlo museum but couldn’t get tickets, but went to Cuoycan anyway and had very enjoyable tour with Al. It’s only about 25-30 mins from the city but it’s much slower, relaxed pace. We walked all along cobble stone streets to see some of the beautiful old homes, stopped in a watercolor painting museum, saw the town square and got some ice cream and churros. It was really nice way to spend our last day, highly recommend Al. Relaxed walk through Cuoyacan

We had a great time with Daniel on a walking food tour exploring neighborhood places. This was our first evening in Mexico City so it helped orient us to the different areas, too. Street side quesadillas, yes crickets(!), spicy candy, tacos, churros it was hard to keep up and you’ll be stuffed afterwards. Really enjoyed learning more about some history as well as the food scene in Mexico City. Great intro to lots of different tastes

This is a must to see the most beautiful and significant parts of the palace, zocalo, etc. 10/10 recommend and encourage. Al is very knowledge, friendly, and makes it easy to meet up with. Me and my husband absolutely loved this tour. I had a great tour with Laos in Mexico City. He customized the experience based on my interests, and since it was a religious day, most museums were closed — but he made the most of it by focusing on churches, landmarks, and, of course, tacos. His background in art really came through, and he was incredibly patient and knowledgeable throughout. I had asked to include some food stops, and he definitely delivered — taking me to a few local spots I never would’ve found on my own. Felt more like exploring the city with a friend than a guide. Our tour was automatically reassigned to Laos a couple days beforehand. The tour was nice and he had a deep appreciation for the art and architecture around the Historic Center. Unfortunately, the museum we were supposed to visit was not open and we were not provided the local snack or drink that was supposed to be included in the package. Laos can give you a deep look into the history and hidden murals around town, which was very interesting! He was on time for the tour and helped us better understand the city. Thanks Laos! The first thing we learned about Al is that he's incredibly patient—we messed up the bus system and then our cab got stuck in horrible traffic. We had our two kids along, and he hit a great balance of interesting spots and topics for us and for them. It would have been a real shame to miss this experience. We got a local's background on nuanced history, architecture, and politics. He followed our lead in terms of next choices, and even answered a couple questions for us after the tour.
