Gennaro is a very kind and patient tour guide. I am somewhat of a slow walker and he was patient the entire tour. Thank you. Gennaro is a wealth of area knowledge and my husband and I learned so much from him. He showed us so many hidden gems and is a great driver to boot. Lunch was seaside with a wonderful view. Armando gave us an excellent, friendly and highly informative tour of his home city, showing us a the key historical sites with a wealth of knowledge about them, but also by helping us to find great places to eat and drink, sampling street food and most importantly on the first of 18 days help us learn to navigate a complex city of small streets and alley ways. This will help us locate key places to visit in the coming days of our holiday. We loved our tour with Miriam. She was so passionate about her city, funny, chatty and full of life. We booked as a family of four. The children loved her stories and the fact that she listened with interest to all they had to say and answered ALL their questions. She had us tasting lots of food but also showed us some hidden gems of the city, told us about the history and made us feel right at home. Walking away from Pompeii, my family and I decided we would not have been able to visit the incredible ruins without the guidance of Raffaele - he provided an informative and insightful experience, through the lens of both an archeologist and someone willing to cater to our personal interests. This tour was completely worth the cost, and we left feeling shocked and enriched by the level of detail we knew by the end of the 2 hours - we could have stayed for longer. I cannot recommend Raffaele enough. We were a group of nine (adults and teenagers) and were unsure if the tour would be suitable for our mixed group. However, we all thoroughly enjoyed the visit to Herculaneum and the National Archaeological Museum of Naples, which we would not have liked half as much without a guide. Raffaele taught us a lot about the places and also made a reservation for our lunch in a very nice pizzeria. It was easily the best tour during our cruise. Thank you, Raffaele!Excellent! Carlo spent a couple of hours with us showing us round a fraction of Pompeii. He is a proud local and this shone through in his enthusiasm. He ensured we saw the important sites and brought to life what life was like in those days. His English was exceptional to the point he was able to add humour to his narrative. We had a fantastic afternoon with Genarro who is clearly very passionate about Napoli and the local food on offer in the area. A really informative afternoon with some amazing stops to eat, drink and learn. Genarro was super helpful too, meeting us at the port and suggesting a place to store our luggage. Our group of 12 (ages ranging from 15-54) really enjoyed the tour with Raffaele. He managed to cater to everyone's interests. Raffaele gave us an excellent introduction to Naples in the short time we had to explore (6 hours). He allowed us opportunity to learn about Naples’ extensive history and culture, with a wonderful diversity of examples of art from exquisite churches to current topical street art. He used his archeological expertise to show us key highlights of the National Archeological Museum, allowing us to link them to visits we were making to Herculaneum and Pompei too. My wife and I came to Napoli for the first time and Gennaro treated us to a lovely experience. I found Gennaro on with locals and he was highly reviewed. He is very knowledgeable and was very helpful to planning our vacation. We met up for a mixed food and city discovery tour with Gennaro. He took us both by foot and in vehicle to see some of the most amazing sites. He took us down some paths less traveled, some incredible scenic views, and through the hustle bustle must see areas of Napoli. The multiple food stops along the way really was some incredible delicacies of sweet savory and of course, fried. After eating the multigenerational real deal Neapolitan pizza, I don’t think I can ever have pizza anywhere else again. Book with Gennaro and you’ll have a wonderful experience seeing the best that Naples has to offer. Genaro was always available for contact for our additional needs both in Naples and Capri. It’s very difficult to put into words our tour with Gennaro, as I was quite moved by the end of it. Gennaro highlighted the complexities of this incredible city as he guided us around. He sees the city from the eyes of a local, but also from the eyes of an outsider, thanks to time he also spends away from Naples. He explained Naples’ history, how it developed, and how it works today. We walked the main streets, wandered the Spanish Quarter and also took the Funicular to see a truly amazing view of sprawling Naples. We learnt about the light and shade of the city, cultural elements, superstition, religion, food, music, tourism and education. Gennaro is so passionate about Naples and we were incredibly grateful for the time we spent with him (we also did a pizza making class and food tour with Gennaro - all incredible). Our group loved spending the whole day with Noemi! Right out of the gate, as soon as I made my booking, she was a fabulous communicator. She arranged everything! She hired a FANTASTIC driver, and made sure to accommodate every single whim and wish on our list. We traveled the Amalfi coast, stopping along the way for food and shopping. She made us feel like family, taking care of everyone’s needs and preferences. We had THE MOST AMAZING lunch, right along the side of the road, not a restaurant, simply a shop, she did all of the ordering and we had the best, most authentic meal! We were delighted. And then, we reached Pompeii; this is where Noemi SHINES. She knows everything about Pompeii, not only does she know how to navigate and narrate it perfectly, but she has developed an internal treasure hunt, and little games along the way keeping you fully engaged and in the spirit of exploration. We were a group of adults, but I can imagine this would be fantastic for kids too! Noemi is the whole package! Tell her what you want to see, and she will make it happen! Thank you, Noemi! Nino was a fantastic guide and gave a dollop of history and a full serving of food. He took us to several places that we wouldn't have found on our own and, as another reviewer said, took us to a place with the easily best mozzarella we've ever had. We also learned a lot about Neapolitan cuisine. I can't recommend it highly enough; you'll really enjoy your time walking, talking, and eating with Nino as your guide!The best food tour we've ever been on!

Excellent tour! I was a lone traveler so it was just myself and Federica! The tour is the same price if you’re alone or a family but it was well worth it to me. I had limited time to spend in Napoli and wanted to make the most of it. She was very informative regarding the history of the area! You could tailor this tour to what you were interested in knowing and seeing. It was a well spent afternoon and I’m so glad I chose this. We went through local sights, local food market shopping, and neighborhoods I may not have discovered on my own. Being with a local was great!
