We had the pleasure of booking Karni for our Full Day Coverage of New Delhi City Tour. Karni was quite accommodating, easy-going and talkative. He even allowed us to pick and choose what we wanted to see. Because it's not necessarily a walking tour, Karni provided a car for the excursion, which was a good idea given that some of the most famous sites are on opposite sides of the city. In the car ride, we talked about everything concerning India. I personally found him to be quite knowledgeable, and I enjoyed talking with him about the life history of Mahatma Gandhi, Queen Victoria (Empress of India), and topics concerning the Mughal Empire. Karni is a fountain of information. Most importantly, we had a problem with one of the local delivery vendors and Karni was right there as our advocate to straighten out the situation for us and make sure that kind of misunderstanding doesn't happen to others--a gesture we appreciated. Overall, we recommend Karni highly should you ever visit India. He's worth your time. We highly recommend him

Mona was absolutely fantastic from the moment I messaged him on the site to the moment we left India. He was accommodating, knowledgeable, informative, and all around fun to spend time with in Delhi and Agra. He tailored our experience to the things we were most excited to explore, guided us to visit sites at just the right time (considering peak times/crowds and heat), and was a wealth of information about each city, site, and the culture. He was also considerate and thoughtful, making sure we were prepared for each little thing, from what to expect with potential interactions with domestic tourists (they were excited to see blonde hair! ;) to making sure we understood the social norms with using a public restroom during a road trip (bring your own TP and tip the attendant). We booked Vishnu for food tour of Delhi old town. He was very knowledgeable lots of fun facts and made special effort to ensure food we had was good and hygienic. Our experience traveling in India exceeding anything we could have imagined, in large part because of our guide and friend for life, Virenda. The catalog of knowledge about India this charming and funny fellow possesses is seemingly limitless. Be it historical, geographical, or gastronomical. It's hard to overstate the qualities of this fine man. His English is outstanding. His timing on every detail is perfect. His trustworthiness is impeccable. I had zero concern sitting in the car with our driver whilst my wife and Virenda went off in every corner of any city in search of an ATM or some article of clothing or what have you. They always returned whole, mission accomplished. If there was any need for an entry fee or a tip for someone on the street, Virenda would reach into his wallet without hesitation to pay it. Every single thing we were promised regarding services covered with the tour fee was delivered as such, with no negative surprises. My wife and Virenda made daily an accounting of extra expenses, and he was always correct to the Rupie! We entrusted everything to his honor and expertise on our first visit to India, and Virenda delivered. Our journey began with Virenda and our driver Paji meeting us at the airport after customs. We immediately toured New Delhi and some famous sites. The next morning Virenda and Paji picked us up at our hotel, on time, and brought us to Old Delhi, not to be missed! Our 12 day tour brought us to Jaipur, Ranthambore for two successful safaris, the lost city, a large bird sanctuary, Agra for sunset and sunrise visits to Taj Mahal, and back to Delhi. Virenda also arranged for two guides for us when we visited the Kama Sutra Temples and the spectacular Golden Temple in Amritsar. Again, we got much more than expected and much of our joy came from being in the presence of this beautiful human being, Virenda! As a side note, I booked most of our hotels on an app, but Virenda booked some for us when needed and we were always satisfied with the results. Golden Temple perfection

I spent one day exploring Delhi with the wonderful Vishnu. It was a long layover on my trip to Goa and my first time in India ever. Vishnu made it one to remember. We did not just jump from monument to monument but he showed me life in Delhi and I learned so much about the people and the culture. I could not have asked for a better start to my trip and kept passing on a lot of what I learned to fellow travelers I met along the way which really speaks for the well balanced conversations I have had with Vishnu - a lot of passion for a wonderful city and country, endless knowledge, a kind heart, always a smile on the face and an optimistic outlook on life. We booked with Vishnu for a short private tour in an afternoon of Qutub Minar on the day we arrived in Delhi having travelled overnight. Vishnu picked us up on time and from the beginning to the end our tour was just fantastic, he told us interesting stories and educating us as we went. Vishnu also extended our tour took us to some additional sites we did not expect and he stopped to buy us a masala chai. A 3 hour tour was actually 5 and we enjoyed every minute. Karni was a lovely guide with clear knowledge about the area and the food we were eating. He took us to the spice market and showed us the local spices with insightful conversations on what they are used for. Afterwards we meandered to different stalls and had lots of the local favorites from trusted sources, including some sellers that have been around for generations! Karni was great at asking us for our preferences, giving us lots of options, and adding little historical facts about the area along the way. Perhaps our only suggestion would be a stronger tour framing at the start with context about the history of the market and local food traditions more generally, as well as a bit of an overview about how many dishes we’re eating so we could pace ourselves better. Would recommend Karni as a guide to anyone who wants to explore the local area! And we came away with contacts and suggestions for other tours as well! Eating through the old market!

Wir haben es nicht geschafft, ihm eine Frage zu stellen, die er nicht mit viel Spaß und Hintergrundwissen beantworten konnte. So war die Tagestour von Delhi zum Taj Mahal kurzweilig und sehr informativ. Wir baten Virendra auch, alle Souvenirshops und dergleichen wegzulassen, da wir davon schon genug hatten. Daran hat er sich auch gehalten, was wir ihm hoch anrechnen. Aus der Fahrer war super und sehr professionell. Alles in allem unbedingt zu empfehlen! Pro Tip: macht nicht die Sonnenaufgang-Tour, vor allem nicht aus Delhi. Das machen alle, daher ist es da extrem voll. Und man muss nachts um 3 in Dehli los. Wir sind um 6 los, und als wir um 10 da waren, waren die Sonnenaufgangs-Touris alle schon wieder weg. Wir haben an keiner Stelle auch nur eine Minute warten müssen. Und das Licht war trotzdem toll ;-)Super!

I booked a 3 day tour with Virendra for my parents and this is their review after the perfect experience they had in Delhi/New-Delhi. Virendra has amazing knowledge about the history and mixture of religion in the city and can explain it really well in English AND French. He is very friendly and will adapt to your every wishes. On top of showing you the public transport in Delhi, Virendra also works with a very good driver for the sights that are a little further away. In general, Virendra makes the experience feel special and unique, and not like a tourist trap forcing you to spend money left and right. Having only 2 days to spend in Delhi the choice of a guide is unquestionable and we were so lucky to secure Virendra (V) as our guide. We corresponded with him before our trip and he advised us on an itinerary which suited our interests and maximized our limited time. We had a fabulous tour with Alok Friendly and knowledgeable , he quickly guided us on foot from India gate to the metro ( we were impressed by the Metro system)to the bustle of Chandni Chowk , we are world travellers and are really interested in seeing the nuts and bolts of real life and this did not disappoint , we were given ample opportunities to engage with the locals , including our very friendly rickshaw driver , who navigated the narrow alleyways so deftly and guided us to a great tea shop , and of course the spice market , where we were able to take a birds eye view of the crowded streets below from the terrace above Thank you , Alok , for making our visit so memorable ! Honestly I had such a good day with Karni. I was traveling solo with only 9 hours in Delhi. Karni was really responsive and we planned an excellent day trip so I could experience a taste of India for the first time. We started the tour very early and Gajendra was ready with a wonderful driver at the time agreed upon. We revied the itinerary and hit the road stopping for tea along the way. It was great to get out of Delhi. When we arrived at the Taj Mahal, Gajendra had already arranged the tickets and everything was so easy. The driver waited for us. When we finished we ate some great local breakfast! We did many other things throughout the day, including seeing the 'baby' taj mahal, which is equally as beautiful. Gajendra was so hospitable, making sure I was comfortable and what I wanted to do. We did a tour of New Delhi with Karni, which was excellent. Karni met us at our hotel and brought us to the area of the tour on the Delhi metro, which was a cool experience. We booked a 4-day trip with Karni to Agra, Jaipur and Delhi. He picked us up at the Tundla Railway station and from then on he looked after us like the closest people to him. He took care of our comfort, convenience and satisfaction. Karni is a very professional guide with a huge knowledge of architecture, history, religion and is able to convey this knowledge in a very interesting way. Open to questions on worldview topics. Very patient with our group, because we had a few wishes that went beyond the scope of sightseeing. We visited several places that were not tourist places, but more local ones. Karni took us to an elephant sanctuary, which was a magical place for us based on interaction with the animal. He showed us India as a country that actually looks different than it is shown in the world. Thanks to him I can confidently recommend India tours to my friends without worrying about their safety. We booked a tour around Old Delhi with Karni as we had one day in Delhi before a 15 day tour around Rajasthan. It was our first time in both Delhi and India, and despite being seasoned travellers, we wanted to explore with someone familiar with the area and customs. Karni was perfect. We met up and made our way together navigating the local metro system. While we loved the vibrancy of Old Delhi, the spice market and the people, the highlight was the Sikh Temple and Community Kitchen. We felt very safe and enjoyed learning about the history and customs as well as trying some local snacks. Karni was very careful about where and what food we should try, choosing vendors he trusted to have good hygiene. Karni is an exceptional tour guide and I can't thank him enough. After seeing Old Delhi with Karni we booked him for a full tour of New Delhi, Japiur and Agra. Travelig to India with parents over 60 is not an easy task, especially since they were not familiarised with the local cuisine and they don't speak English :) That's why I decided to work with Karni: to ease my life. He helped us book a mini bus, decided together upon itinerary and things to see and even having lunch and ordering non spicy food. Karni explained in great detail every monument, temple or attractions and he even took us to see some hidden gems that we could not find on our own. India is chaotic and having an experienced tour guide makes the experience from disastrous to wonderful. If you want to experience Delhi, I HIGHLY recommend selecting Vishnu as your guide. I spent the day with Vishnu seeing all of Delhi, including the "real" Delhi and had an amazing time. Honest, courteous, and personable. When I return to Delhi I won't think twice to contact Vishnu again.An unforgettable experience

Gajendra is amazing! I did a 5 day Golden Triangle tour and I can’t recommend it enough. I was able to learn so much about this amazing culture and Gajendra really tailored the experience to what I wanted to do. I felt like I got to see all of the “must-see” destinations in this area as well as the hidden gems that just he knew about. He’s friendly, kind, and thoughtful in all that he does. We had a 15 hour layover at the Delhi airport, and did not want to just stay in the terminal. We booked Virendra to show us around for 8 hours. He gave us the most amazing tour and experience. He is deeply knowledgable, and explained things very clearly. He brought a fantastic driver that was included. We wanted to drive to a different town so that we could meet a friend. He worked that into our schedule and got us back to the airport on time.Very Flexible and Accommodating

We had an exceptional tour in Delhi with Vishnu! He was completely flexible and customised the day entirely to our needs as we went along - perfect for a short trip with limited time. Highlights included a walk through the Old City and several glances into daily life in Delhi throughout the tour. Virendra jee was simply the best! He prepared a tour prior our trip and he adjusted it following our needs during our staying. He provided not only a many useful information regarding the city but he made us discover its culture with active experiences as street foods tour and temple visits. We had a fantastic day in Delhi thanks to Vishnu and his driver! We had only 1 day in Delhi and he managed to show us the highlights + the daily life of the local people. Vishnu knows all details about every place, and is a very passionate storyteller. Not only about the city, but also about his personal life - which is a very special story. Vishnu is an amazing guide, with a strong knowledge & kindness. They came to pick us up at the airport with Mister G early morning for a 2-days private visit in Delhi. Vishnu adapted to our needs: we wanted to see both monuments and real Delhi life. He also took into account that we were tired of our flight the first day, and planned to do more activities on the second day.
