Louis has a warm personality and is passionate about Paris! His knowledge made this tour unforgettable; and I am still processing the fascinating historical information he shared. He gave us a lot of historical and cultural information and was happy to answer questions, even on a cold and windy day. The title of this review says it all. Our large family 8 had such a wonderful time! The fact that it was frigidly cold didn't even matter! 😆 My husband and I have been to Paris once before, but the rest of the family had not. He is so knowledgeable about so much history and architecture of every building in Paris, he made every step a learning and exciting experience. I continually said, "I never knew that!" He was great with the kids- 10, 15 and 17, and encouraged questions of all types! We discussed history, current culture and daily life in Paris, and received the best recommendations for the remainder of our trip. Paola was informative, engaging, fun, and perfect for our family! Henry (14) says, “I learned a lot about the city and French history. Felix (12) shares, “ I had fun! He answered all my questions even ones about soccer. He provided a good blend of keeping us moving while sharing just the right amount of detail.” And Amelia wants you to know, “I loved his outfit. He shared about Paris in a unique way that made it fun and the tour went by fast.” Paola provided a unique experience and tour that didn’t feel like a traditional guided city tour. Wandering the streets of Paris with Louis on our 5 hour walking tour was excellent. Louis engaged with everyone in our group. The pace of the tour allowed us to stop and capture plenty of photos. Welly was very (very) accommodating as we had to change our date and time (and our meeting location). He was responsive to the Chat and able to modify the tour to suit our requests of places to skip since we did some of the touristy spots before this tour. Welly had a lot of knowledge about the main sights as well as inside information about places off the beaten track. There is obviously a lot of history in Paris, and I feel like we covered a lot of it during our time with Welly. I highly recommend spending some time with him while you’re in Paris. Do it on one of your first days so he can give you insight as to places to visit while you’re there. Also, so you can go back to any place you want to spend more time. He walked at a good pace all day, not too fast or too slowly. This was by far our best value tour (by a large margin). No better way to see this beautiful city. Excellent Walking Tour

Welly was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, he personalized the tour to cater to the things we liked. He took us to a wonderful cafe for lunch, treated us to a coffee and a chocolate eclair at a bakery where we got to buy other sweets and a baguette which was one of our requests. We learned a lot about different historical events that happened in Paris and were shown the different scars that France keeps to remember those events. We got to see everything that we had asked to be shown and we ended the day at the Eiffel Tower. He even let us know what metro route to take to get back to our hotel which was extremely helpful! 10/10 experience we definitely will be recommending Welly to any friends and family who decide to take a private tour! First timer to Paris and had a day to explore before business. I booked the 5-hour custom tour and chose Anna based on previous reviews. I had no major focus, other than historical and art as a focus. Anna didn’t disappoint. She met me at my hotel and she shared the itinerary and off we went. I can’t believe how much of the city we covered and how much I learned in this but more than that, Anna made the whole experience feel like I was walking the city with a good friend. I have never experienced a tour of this quality and would highly suggest Anna for any tour. I have sat and thought of the question Anna asked me before we parted of what I may have found the best part, or best area I saw. I couldn’t really explain it then and not sure I can now, but I have never felt more satisfied with a purchase than this tour. I learned not only of those landmarks on the map but the history of the times, and the Parisian view of today. It was cultural and community and just an incredible experience. We did the full coverage paris tour for 5 hours with Paolo and it was a great experience. Paolo had deep knowledge of the Parisian history and culture and kept us going throughout the tour. Although its a long tour, we didn’t feel the time because of how engaged we were. The tour provides great overall perspective of the city and is a must do early on during the visit to Paris. Mr Paolo was also very friendly and was willing to answer any questions that may arise. The lesser known details coupled with prominent landmarks makes this tour a very unique experience. I brought my mother, aged 92 and in a wheelchair, to Paris for the first time. I booked 5 hours with Paolo, hoping we could show her the essential city. We had a great day. Paolo met us at our hotel and then we walked through the highlights of the city. He showed us places I would never have found independently which we both loved. He took the day at our pace, spoke fantastic English, was extremely knowledgeable and we had a great time. We spent five hours with Anna covering all the major city attractions. Anna was very friendly and pleasant to be with, and very knowledgeable about so much. She made sure we went to all the “must sees” and also showed us little areas and points of interest that most tourists will miss on their own. We asked a lot of questions, and she was able to answer all of them. We really enjoyed spending the time with a true Parisienne. Highly recommended !! 5 star tour from a world traveler. I had only one week in Paris and have been before few times, but always felt I missed something or didn’t know the landmarks or areas I walked by; but not this time. Paolo was the best tour guide we could wish for, he was on time waiting for us in Metro Cité and kept us going for a full 5 hour tour ( about 4:30 hours) I had my mum and daughter, 11 y/o with me, we were just coming out of the Louvre tour, and we were already tired, but Paolo had such an energy and historical knowledge, we just kept going. The tour was in Spanish and he had perfect English too 😊. This tour is long, but worth it. Paolo also gave us a full understanding about the French and Parisian everyday life and tips, like where to buy good trainers or eat escargot in Paris. Highly recommended, and if I had more time in Paris I would book Les Marais tour with him as well, next time for sure. Best complete tour in central Paris!

Paolo is one of the most kind and charming tour guides we have ever met. His knowledge of Paris is encyclopedic, and he was able to delve deeply into discussions of Parisian art, architecture, and culture. The hours flew by as he introduced us to monuments, shopping, and restaurants. He was very gracious in indulging us in any stop or side excursion we wanted. A long time ago I used to live in Paris. This tour was for me to get a quick refresher on the Paris scene. I only had a long weekend so I couldn't afford to waste any time doing trial and error myself. The private custom tour definitely met my expectations and at times exceeded them. Izabele is very professional while at the same time flexible, friendly and easy to talk to. I was running a bit late and she kindly adjusted the schedule. I can attest that she is multi-lingual and can go from speaking in French to English and even Spanish seamlessly. Izabele made sure all the items on my to do list for the tour were checked off. She gave me invaluable information on what the new local "in" places were in the town. After she quickly assessed my lifestyle profile she came up with a nice array of options including restaurants, shops and neighborhood sights. Izabele provided great styling feedback and advice, and I found everything I was looking for. Knowing that I was vegetarian, she recommended a laid back but stylish mediterranean restaurant that had excellent cuisine. One of my requests was to conclude the tour at a rooftop bar, and I could not have chosen a better place myself. It was a unique boutique establishment in a lively neighborhood. You can't beat having drinks with a classic Eiffel Tour view. All the while she shared insights, including what people were now listening to, and additional fashion and Parisian lifestyle tips. It was a great way to cap off the evening. In the end, I did feel like I was more back up to speed on the Paris scene than when I arrived.
