I spent a lovely half day with Jarmila getting to know the beautiful city. Jarmila was a great tour guide. She's so friendly, so kind and so passionate about the city. It's infectious. Natalia was amazing! I was traveling with my friend but also my parent (ages 72 and 77). Natalia coordinated Tram rides for us to limit their walking and we simply had a SMASHING day (despite the rainy weather). Natalia is an excellent storyteller, explaining the history of this city so well. She also gave us excellent recomendations for food and drinks. The day was perfect! Natalia provided an excellent experience for this sophisticated international business traveler seeking to take in the city of Prague with only one available day between meetings. My experience was tailored to my preferences with customized moments such as enjoying a quick cappuccino in a notable cafe or eating schnitzel and beer for lunch at a favorite spot for locals. Unlike many guides, Natalia is able to provide the proper dose of historical facts to satisfy your individual interest. In fact, she made the normally boring regurgitation of history quite interesting with many stories and some trivia about historical happenings. Dimitris was an excellent guide. He is extremely knowledgeable about history and the city of Prague. I was able to see many of the sights on my list and all within 4 or 5 hours. He took great pictures and introduced my daughter and I to some amazing hot chocolate as well. It’s easy to say we would recommend Dimitri’s tour. The journey though the city was planned out very well. Dimitris was very personable and easy to talk to the entire time. His knowledge of Prague was very in-depth and he passed it along in very good stories. Dimitris was able to provide us several recommendations to enhance our stay based on our preferences. We took a few stops at local shops and were provided excellent restaurant suggestions. We enjoyed a stop into a chocolate shop along the way and enjoyed a cup of a liquid chocolate beverage that is a must do if you like chocolate. The entire walk was not difficult and Dimitri made it even a bit easier by taking the tram up to the castle. In between the sites he pointed out art and other local points of significance. What places his tour over those large tours is the personalized conversations you can have while exploring the city if something attracts your attention. This tour really enhanced our Prague trip and once again would recommend it to anyone considering paying for a tour.

We had the pleasure of walking the city of Prague with Hana and her husband George. We could not recommend highly enough. They bought the city to life for us. We sat and indulged in a Czech sweet treat in a beautiful coffee shop, where we shared stories of family and culture. Their amazing historical knowledge left us all overloaded with information. Photo opportunities a plenty and they were happy to take photos of our small group. We asked a lot of questions as we strolled the streets of Prague, taking in all it had to offer. Hana is a total gem! I engaged Hana for a private tour coz my 74-year-old mum cannot walk that fast and has issues climbing steps. I was worried that the pace of the big tours will be very challenging for her. Withlocals provide private tours at super reasonable rates. I engaged Hana after reading all the reviews on her and am I glad that I did! Hana is super knowledgeable... My sister and I learned so much from her, not just on Prague's history but also on other aspects. She also gave very good recommendations of where to go and what to eat for our upcoming visits to Salzburg and Vienna. I truly appreciate that...if not for her recommendation, I would have missed visiting some of the noteworthy sites in Vienna! She was also very attentive to my mum and she looked out for our comfort. We absolutely loved our tour with Ivana! We selected her because we wanted a focus on history, and she really delivered. She gave us a detailed view of not only historical events, but also the characteristic approach of the Czech people to resisting oppression, the importance of linguistic national identity, and even some personal experiences from the ending of the Soviet regime in Prague. I had high hopes, but Ivana surpassed even those. We also particularly appreciated her help in selecting a Czech record for a teenager as a souvenir, and introducing us to some small plates that were characteristic of what locals eat at a lovely restaurant a little ways outside of the tourist traffic. My wife and I had two tours with Hana: the "Full Coverage Prague City Tour" and "Private Day Trip to Kutna Hora". Hana had had a recent accident and injured her knee and was walking with a limp. We felt bad for her as the Prague city tour was over 5 hours long and even suggested to not do the tour but she insisted that she was fine. Hana is a true 'local' and knew all the hidden gems of Prague and, more importantly, all the best spots for taking photographs - a fact much appreciated by my wife :-) Did I mention that she's a gifted photographer too! In short, we loved the tour and our guide. The Kutna Hora tour was outside Prague and we were driven there by Hana's lovely son, Andy. Again, a very enjoyable trip.
