We did a sunrise tour with Long, and we were not disappointed. It was the first day of Khmer New Year and we saw all the local dignitaries getting ready to welcome the king to Angkor Wat. What a once in a lifetime experience for us and our two kids aged 10 and 8. Long was very knowledgeable about Cambodian history and told us some amazing stories about Buddhism and Hinduism. Our kids really enjoyed those stories, as did we! A wonderful Khmer New Year tour

My partner (both 28) and I had a great time with Dorn on our tour which was over Cambodian new year. Many of the normal spots were shut so Dorn took us to a more secluded collection of stops. The food was really good, but moreso Dorn's explanation of the different cuisines and Cambodian influence in food. He then took us round the town for Cambodian new year, to show us how everyone celebrated. It was overall great fun! Thanks Dorn.Great personal experience

We did the 10 tastings of Siem Reap with Long, and had the best evening. Long is a wonderful guide - very kind and knowledgeable. Long introduced us to some amazing Khmer food! Banh Mi, Fish Amok, Beef with red ants, some great chive dumplings and much more! Completed with the sweetest coconut water I ever tasted. When he real used some of our group members were willing to be adventurous - he was happy to let us taste crickets and silk worms too! He was so accommodating and helpful too. His English was good and we discussed many topics beyond the food! Would definitely recommend Long for this food tour and other guided tours too😊Amazing food experience with Long!

The trip with Long to the temples was great! Usually these kind of trips a bit boring, but he managed to make it interesting. He took us to a great spot for sunrise photos and after that explained thoroughly everything about Angkor Wat. His English is great, even our 11 year old understood. Long is very well educated on the history of the Khmer empire and about Hinduism and budism. What was a very pleasant surprise were his skills with the phone camera, he made great photos of us! I would fully recommend to anyone wanting to learn about the history or just wants to have a pleasant conversation!Better than expected

We have done a number of food tours and this one with Long has been the best one we have done! Long is a genuinely nice guy who is very easy to have conversation with. He can speak excellent English. He took us to a variety of places both in the city (casual and more formal restaurant) as well as a rural street market so that we could experience a broad range of Cambodian food. Long was exceptional as our guide for the foodie tour. We enjoyed learning about the local food along with him sharing his knowledge about Cambodia. Long gave a really good tour of the temples at Angkor. He was able to communicate all of the key information about the Temples and could answer all of my questions. I did not feel rushed at any time and we took plenty of stops to admire the view before continuing. The driver was always ready to pick us up to take us to the next location. Long was able to show me what life was like in the Angkorian period using additional images to help explain what I was seeing. Long was my guide for a sunrise visit to Angkor Wat as well as to Bayon and Ta Prohm. Him and our wonderful tuk tuk driver were already waiting for me for the early pick up at 5:30 am and I had a great opportunity to see the sunrise at Angkor Wat. Long was very knowledgeable about all the temple complexes and also answered all my questions about Cambodia and its history during our stops. As I was traveling alone, he also made sure and kindly took photos of me for an unforgettable visit. Long is the man! He is VERY knowledgeable about Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples. He told us the history of the different temples and was patient when we asked questions. Since he is a former school teacher, you can really tell he has a passion for teaching. In the morning, Long met us at our hotel on time and knew the best spot for seeing the sunrise at Angkor Wat. Throughout the tour, he took great pics of us in scenic spots and his tuk tuk driver always had cold water available. He was a pleasure to talk to when traveling between temples and we learned about Cambodia and its more recent history. He gave us many good restaurants to try and even a recommendation for a private driver to Phnom Penh. We had a great day with Long at the Angkor Wat temples and during the sunrise tour. He gave us new insights into the temples by explaining the history and importance and was very kind and considerate along the way. Long knew all the great spots to take photos and offered to make plenty of them. He also gave great insight into modern day Cambodia and how the locals live by talking about his own experiences. Communication was easy through WhatsApp and he was on time on both days we were going on a trip with him. The tuktuk was also great, they always had cold water waiting for us whenever we left the temples (it was needed, it was very hot). Ngoun took my wife and I on a one day trip to Ankhor Wat and other temples + a one day tour to a waterfall, the lying Buddha and the floating village. We had the best experience of Angkor Wat solely because of our tour guide, Long. He is extremely knowledgeable of the history and culture of not only Angkor Wat but also Siem Reap. John shared his extensive knowledge with us exploring the major temples of Angkor Wat. He is also a great picture taker, angling our way into the best photo spots and taking lots of pictures for us. After about 5-6 hours of exploring, we were hot and tired. John kindly asked us if we wanted more small temples or to go directly to the last major temple. We opted to go to the major temple but I know John would have been happy to continue showing us around longer. Would definitely recommend John for a day at Angkor Wat.Great day with John

We did two tours with Ngoun (Lux).. the 10 tasting tour and a city tour. Lux’s English is flawless and he is very knowledgeable about local ciulture and history. The food tour was great.. terrific local places and dishes altered to meet my dietary needs without a problem. Local drinks were missing though. As we had already seen some of the city our tour was modified but Lux still found different places for us to see. Very pleasant trips with informative commentary. Knowledgable friendly guide

Lux demonstrated excellent knowledge about Cambodia, which is the main reason for the three-star rating. His expertise on the country's history and culture was evident throughout the tour. However, several aspects of the experience were disappointing: 1. Pacing & Guidance style: The tour felt rushed, with Lux constantly hurrying us along. This made it difficult to fully appreciate the sights and take in the atmosphere. Lux often walked ahead of the group, which made it challenging to hear explanations or ask questions. A more inclusive approach would have been preferable. 2. Tour duration: Despite paying for a private tour, Lux cut the experience short by two hours. This was particularly frustrating as there were numerous interesting temples within easy reach that we could have explored. 3. Value for money: Given the premium price paid for a private tour, the overall experience fell short of expectations. While Lux's knowledge was commendable, the tour's execution left much to be desired. For future visitors, I would recommend seeking a guide who balances expertise with better time management and a more attentive approach to their clients' needs.Yay and nay and the same time
