Wear your comfortable walking shoes, bring water if it is a hot day, because you are going to see Everything! And you are going to learn more. Roxane is super nice, full of personality only overshadowed by her knowledge of the city, the history, the hidden gems, local eats, where to get the better than "the best" listed on the internet. Plus great advice on using public transportation. Multi lingual, great energy, even though we were her second tour of the day. Our five hour tour was a whirlwind of stories, and sites, while paying attention to logistics (bathroom breaks, time in the shade, and breaks for the older folks in the group to rest) She assisted in all communication and purchases with locals and vendors. When it is time to eat, just ask her where she would go...and then go there! We thought our time was over with her and then we asked if she would like to guide us through the Belvedere Museum, this leg could be a tour of it's own. She is a food expert, and as we found out, an art/architecture/cultural encyclopedia. Touring with Roxane is like touring with a local friend, and we now consider her our friend in Vienna. Thank you Roxane. So Happy!!! To have a tour with Roxane!

Our group of 4 really enjoyed our tour with Roxanne. We had fun, she was informative, and the pace was great. Her English is wonderful. She tailored the tour to our interests. She was flexible with changes, even during the tour. We had an ice cream break and threw in a library tour that was well worth it and one of the highlights. She timed it perfectly to get us to the opera house in time for our tour there. We all talked about the tour that evening and agreed it was the best one we've had so far in Europe. Thanks. We had a lovely non-strenuous bike tour around Vienna with Sandy. She is very knowledgeable and shared a lot of local history. One improvement may be to keep things moving. Although we would have liked more factual and detailed information about the architecture and history around what we saw. Roxane was wonderful - from the great communications ahead of time to the level of detail and flexibility during our walk in and around town. We saw streets and landmarks that we never would have found on our own with a great history lesson along the way and clearly she has a fascination with art as well - so advice on museums etc was great! We also found some great places to eat based on her recommendations and she helped us navigate the tram a bit as well! Susanne is a very warm and engaging person, with an enormous amount of knowledge on Vienna due to her historian background. She is a wonderful storyteller, bringing to life snippets of interesting information about the places we visited. When we experienced a delay at one of the cafes we visited Susanne kept us entertained with more stories. Ultimately we ended up moving to another cafe due to the delay, but that was by no means any fault of Susanne's. We enjoyed our foodie tour. I would recommend Sandy in a heartbeat! I booked the tour while I was still back home in Canada and Sandy was super easy to communicate with through the With Locals website. I had only an evening layover in Vienna. Sandy picked me up from the airport and tailored a late night tour to accommodate my short time frame. When our family arrived two minutes early to the designated meet up location, we immediately started looking for Sandy. We searched everywhere in the vicinity, with no luck. Sandy later claimed she had been there, but if true, she didn’t look for us (a family of 4, obviously searching for someone). I texted 10 minutes after the meeting time and got no reply until about 20 minutes later, when she said she was already home and couldn’t get back for another 20 minutes. We’d waited in the cold for over 45 minutes at that point. This was wildly frustrating and disappointing to me and my family. What a terrible way to start our visit to Vienna, and totally surprising given the great experience we had with this company in Greece just a few years earlier.No show
