We (my wife my 19 yr old gdaughter and myself (age 83) met with Anita on time outside Domm Museum at 11 We then spent an rxciting and interesting 5 hrs being shown round Vienna historical sights by Anita an experienced and knowledgable guide who gave us a historical and contemporary view of Vienna and Austris as well as the Happsburg empire We stopped 2 or 3 times for a coffee but the time went quickly and we covered a lot of steps We 3 went home exhausted and exhilirated Thank you Anita An outstanding day with Anita in Bienna

Wear your comfortable walking shoes, bring water if it is a hot day, because you are going to see Everything! And you are going to learn more. Roxane is super nice, full of personality only overshadowed by her knowledge of the city, the history, the hidden gems, local eats, where to get the better than "the best" listed on the internet. Plus great advice on using public transportation. Multi lingual, great energy, even though we were her second tour of the day. Our five hour tour was a whirlwind of stories, and sites, while paying attention to logistics (bathroom breaks, time in the shade, and breaks for the older folks in the group to rest) She assisted in all communication and purchases with locals and vendors. When it is time to eat, just ask her where she would go...and then go there! We thought our time was over with her and then we asked if she would like to guide us through the Belvedere Museum, this leg could be a tour of it's own. She is a food expert, and as we found out, an art/architecture/cultural encyclopedia. Touring with Roxane is like touring with a local friend, and we now consider her our friend in Vienna. Thank you Roxane. So Happy!!! To have a tour with Roxane!

Our group of 4 really enjoyed our tour with Roxanne. We had fun, she was informative, and the pace was great. Her English is wonderful. She tailored the tour to our interests. She was flexible with changes, even during the tour. We had an ice cream break and threw in a library tour that was well worth it and one of the highlights. She timed it perfectly to get us to the opera house in time for our tour there. We all talked about the tour that evening and agreed it was the best one we've had so far in Europe. Thanks. We spent half a day with Roxanne recently in Vienna. She is an amazing guide and knows the history and city well. She took us through the city off the beaten path explaining and pointing out the major landmarks, BUT, more importantly showing us the lesser known and more intriguiging parts of town. Roxane was amazing! To begin with, she asked for any requests in advance of the tour and we told her that we had already been to a number of key sites and that we wanted to see other locations related to my family’s history. And when I told her that I had a copy of my genealogy book, she actually met us the day before so that she could read through my history and prepare for our tour. Needless to say, she provided exactly what we were looking for. From my grandparents’ residences, to the location of their temples to even some darker history that we really wanted/needed to hear. Roxane provided so much additional information that helped fill in gaps that even a three-year genealogy project could not explain. Our tour with Dr. Claudia-Maria was OUTSTANDING! We booked our tour specifically with her because of her background with archeology and stated knowledge as a local and the many good reviews she had. We were not disappointed! As it turned out, our Viking ship tour director had surprised our ship with a walking (rather than coach) tour, very similar to what we had scheduled with Claudia-Maria, but with 25 people. We did do that because it was better than a coach tour. But we figured this private tour would have a more detailed explanation of Vienna's history and that of the much varied architecture. We were mainly interested in the early history, and how the changes from Roman rule up through early 20th century changed the city and people. She made a point to expand upon what we'd heard the previous day, and not duplicate anything, unless we asked for it. We learned so much .. our main objective .. and enjoyed discussions and explanations from Claudia-Maria. 10 stars are not enough if you are facinated with history, interested in learning about culture and enjoy good topic discussion with a very knowledgeable guide! The time just passed too fast. If we make it to Vienna again we will definitely book another walk with this amazing guide! Oh! And she helped in recommending great local coffee houses, a fantastic restaurant, as well as a most deliciously decadent chocolate shop! OUTSTANDING Guide!

Wow, what a great time experiencing Vienna! Anita met us on time and took us through the history of the Hapsburgs, Vienna while moving through the streets, and the Schönbrunn Palace. Suzanne really brings to life the downtown city with her local knowledge, finding gems while being flexible to fit our interests. She is very friendly and a wonderful host. I will say the tour description is a little deceptive, suggesting 10 tastings. We ended up visiting six places (ice cream, wine tasting, polish sandwiches, Viennese coffee with Apfel strudel, an amazing specialty chocolate shop and some street sausages. For two people, the price seemed a little much. Perhaps a small adjustment for the smaller amount of food/drink consumed would make sense for only two people.Relaxing food tasting experience

I contacted Susanne about an evening tour because we didn’t like the tour our river cruise was offering—but we wanted to visit Vienna at night.
