Elena was fantastic! She took us to several different stops with a variety of flavors and explained the historical and cultural context of each dish and paired it well with drinks appropriate for the taste and the locale. Each place was clearly the favorite of locals as opposed to a tourist spot. Elena not only had deep knowledge of the wine and drink selections but also explained the cultural nuances of our surroundings. She also explained a lot about Flamenco and its origins and histories as well as the Andalusian language living right in front of us! Very much worth the value! We had toured the “big sites” as part of a larger group tour. We had a free afternoon and asked Laura to arrange a walk that would show us more of Sevilla. From the Plaza de España to the Triana neighborhood and many places in between, she did just that! We did the guided tour of the Alcázar of Seville with Laura. The tour was fantastic and was definitely one of the highlights of our vacation! we had a really, really good experience with Clara. Her English is absolutely spot on, in fact better than my Scottish !!!! great chat about food, Seville and life in general and some great info on the city too. It was easter week and very busy and Clara had to juggle a stop due to the crowds but everywhere we went was excellent and the food was great too. It was a private tour, just the 3 of us in total and really appreciated the time Clara took with us and there was no hurry or push on time. We had such a happy fun tour with Jose. He was totally brilliant and took us to all the fun bars and restaurants, which weren't the usual tourist traps. He was so enthusiastic and fun and my teenage children really enjoyed his company. We walked over the bridge to Triana and he showed us the colourful buildings and the new and old architecture, the ceramic museum and local restaurants and tapas bars. He was so much fun and I would definitely recommend him to my friends. The tour with him was the highlight of our trip to Andalucia.A really fun tour of Seville.

Elena provided us with a fantastic food tour experience in Triana. We tried lots of different foods and drinks, and were very full by the end of the tour. Elena also gave a lot of great historical background information on the food and neighborhood. Elena has training in gastronomy/wine, in addition to being born and raised in Seville, making her a fantastic tour guide. The one area for improvement would be around organization. Elena reached out to reschedule our tour the day before, which luckily we were able to accommodate. We loved Elena! She is so warm, professional and deeply knowledgeable about her home town. We had such an amazing time that we booked her again for the following day! Seamlessly integrating information about history, culture, and food, she deeply enriched our visit to Sevilla. We learned and experienced things that we would never have had access to otherwise — for example, a bar steeped in the history of flamenco as a form of artistic resistance that served an exclusive variety of orange wine and a fantastic dish of pork prepared in an Arabian style. Everywhere we went we were warmly welcomed because we were with her. We did not encounter tourists or other guides at any of our food stops. Elena was also very generous with recommendations and answers to our questions beyond the time that we spent with her.
