Our tour guide, Francesco, tried his best to entertain us, but I think that the tour itself should be modified. Yes, the tour did include all of the items stated in the offering for 6 hrs. Seems like adequate time, but we took 2 hrs to ride the train from Milan to Como and back. Francesco did his best to tell us about some history. The hour boat tour was the highlight. Other than that, we ate a good lunch. I would suggest modifying to include the funicular to have a great view, visit to villa made famous in movies, Bellagio, hiking/strolling in nice areas. If the hours are not enough, then extend the tour hours or start the tour at Como. The current tour format is just OK.Withlocals should change this tour

The guide is friendly. However, gave me the impression that he did not plan his trip in advance. When we reached the place, he started checking the ferry timing and purchased tickets. Then while waiting he suggested taking a walk to see a sculpture but we had to turn back before reaching as he said there’s not enough time to catch the ferry. And the ferry makes 20 stops but the guide only bring me to one stop and it’s not fantastic either. Did not learn more than what I could google myself although I book a local guide. Will not recommend. Ok tour

Had a great time touring Lake Como With Massimo, He was the perfect guide and got us to our destination quickly while we relaxed and enjoyed he scenery. We didn't have to stress about which train to take and where to change as he had everything planned for us. He texted us a few times before the trip to find out more about our interests and he delivered, We got sightseeing, great food and gelato plus some much needed shopping for Italian goods out of the way!! Overall it was the perfect vacation . Later on we went to a small restaurant he recommended and had the best Osso Bucco and risotto Milanese for a true taste of Milan. Massimo met me at the Central Train Station in Milan and communicated well in advance of our day together. I was staying in Lake Como for a few days and appreciated Massimo's introduction to the Lake as a local. We had a lovely lunch and he made navigating the ferries and stops so easy. My wife and I booked a day trip with Massimo to Lake Como….what a beautiful day. We took the train to Como, and easily met him at the train station. He had already booked the speedboat to take us to Villa Del Balbianello, which was one of the highlights of this experience. But we had a few moments take in the Lake Como Duomo…which was stunning. There was a short hike, uphill to the gardens, at Villa del Balbianello. They were unbelievable! Many amazing photo opportunities. And Massimo was there to help us capture them. We were a bit tired from the sun and Massimo found a speed boat taxi from the gardens back to the pier. We then took a boat to Bellagio, visited a small 11th century duomo and walked the famous colorful streets. Massimo then took us to an amazing restaurant outside of the touristy area to eat lake fish with the locals! Although this was quite a walk in the mid day heat, the food and atmosphere were well worth it. Massimo even found a tour train for us to ride back into town on. To end the day Massimo accompanied us by train and then subway to our doorstep. Thank you for your time, great communication, and easy ways, Massimo. Massimo is an excellent guide. He went above and beyond for my family and I to make my birthday very special in Lake Como. I’ve requested a private pick up, a private boat tour of the lake, and a delicious restaurant out of the way of the main touristy area. He exceeded my expectations! Although it was raining, we had a gorgeous tour of the lake which dropped us off in front of the tastiest Michelin guided restaurant. I wanted something small, I wanted to see more than one village and to take a ferry. This tour was all that and more! Massimo went above and beyond to ensure that I had a great trip Lake Como. He worked with me beforehand to find transportation from Como to Verona. On the day of the trip, he met me at my hotel. At Como, he was knowledgeable. The town of Torno was charming. The wine, cheese, fish tasting at Riva in Torno was superb. It was more than enough food for lunch and very tasty. Afterwards Massimo stayed with me for 30 minutes when my bus to Verona was late. This trip was absolutely worth it and Massimo ensured that the trip went well!Perfect Day in Lake Como

This evening was a highlight of my stay in Milan. Francesca and her sister Alessandra hosted a delightful, relaxed evening at their home just a few minutes walk from the centre of the city. We developed the menu together when I booked, and I enjoyed a delicious three course meal of home made pumpkin ravioli, Osso buco and home made flourless chocolate cake. Francesca was very keen to make a meal I enjoyed. We had a lovely evening and I got to experience a genuine Milanese home, learn more about the lifestyle here, and meet two really interesting, warm people. Highly recommended ! Francesco is amazing. So so knowledgeable, encyclopedic. When he is not guiding, he works as a teacher and it is clear that he is very good at teaching. We all learned a bunch and it was entertaining. And, he managed to keep my 18 year old jet lagged and basically exhausted twins engaged which was no small feat as we had just made it to Italy after 20 some hours of air travel. This was our first visit to an Italian city. Elisa met us at our hotel, which was great after a gruelling 30 hour flight arriving late the night before. She showed us how to navigate public transport, the main sights of Milan and gave us suggestions about where to eat and what to do during our stay. A very worthwhile 3 hours and value for money. We had the most wonderful tour with Elisa! She is very nice and has a lot of knowledge about Milan, such things that you can't read about from the travel books. We had totally customized tour, which she came up just as we met her since I hadn't given her any onfo about what we had done already in Milan - I think is a truly a gift to make a plan on the spot spontaneously. During the tour Elisa had a microphone and we each had earpieces, which was nice, since we could walk in the streets at our own pace and could still hear her speech. Her english was very fluent and easy to keep up with, even though it isn't our mother tongue. She also gave as some tips on what to do on our stay in Milan - few of which we followed and also enjoyed during our stay. I went on vacations to Lake Como with my girlfriend in order to propose at Bellagio. 2 days before arriving I got in contact with Tanja who surprisingly answered very quickly to my request. We met her at Bellagio a bit late because some rental car issues. She was so kind to patiently wait for us, even though we started late (because our fault) she managed the time to give us an incredible experience around the town taking the most amazing pictures in beautiful spots. Despite the delay the experience with her was so natural, we never felt in a rush, we never felt uncomfortable. A few days later she shared our pictures which we loved.
