Loved our tour with Ana! I had seen a type of tour on another corporate website regarding the 4 cultures/neighborhoods (Christian, Muslim, Gypsy, Jewish) of Granada, and asked Ana if she was able to do the same, which she did! It was so special to have a personalized tour with an actual resident of Granada and Ana was able to provide us with so much insight into the different neighborhoods' history, changes, architecture, and culture! She provided us with so much interesting information that we would have never known otherwise. We walked through so many different winding alleys that we had missed on our first day exploring the neighborhood. Our group was a little uncoordinated and was not able to book/buy our Alhambra tickets ahead of time, but if we did, I definitely would have booked her Alhambra tour as well. My daughter and I booked Ana for a morning visit to the Alhambra and were glad to have her company. She was very easy to get on with and good at answering our questions and pointing out details in the Nasrid palaces that we would have missed had we been wandering around on our own. Having her to explain the significance of various features helped make our experience of the complex even more memorable. Having a personal guide is relatively expensive but I felt it worthwhile for a visit to such a special place. Ana was good at communicating, ensuring we knew where to find her on the day, and at the end of our tour kindly emailed us recommendations of some places to eat in Granada. You can easily spend most of the day at the Alhambra and I would recommend Ana as your guide for at least some of that time. An enjoyable and informative morning

Our group of 6 loved exploring the Alhambra palace with Ana. Ana was so informative and interesting. We all loved learning the history of Granada and also some really good recommendations of places to eat and things to do like the flamenco dancing. Our group of varied ages 20-50years all enjoyed themselves. We also had some of the local food and wine with Ana which was so delicious. She organized the tour so well that we were able to visit all the palaces and places almost undisturbed. The Alhambra is exquisite and having someone who can share stories, context, and things to look out for makes the experience so much better. Ana is a mine of information and explains things beautifully. We were a varied family group ranging from granny (90) to grandchildren (7). We absolutely loved our Alhambra tour with Ana! She took us all around the various sites and explained each part of the Alhambra in detail while making sure we got in the best pictures for memories. Also, we were able to skip the lines and get the best highlights from each area of the Alhambra. We loved the guided tour of The Alhambra with Ana. She was friendly and very knowledgeable. It’s a massive complex and the tour felt like we were seeing the highlights. October is a very popular time and with the crowds of people it also ensured we didn’t miss anything important or particularly interesting that we may have overlooked if put off by the large groups blocking the way. At the ticket office of the Alhambra complex we met up with our guide Ana, who majored in art history at the University of Granada and is a veteran tour guide, in spite of her tender age! Her profound knowledge of the Alhambra complex covers all the people that have lived there since it was built: the sultans, the christian kings, up to the time that the American writer, Washington Irving, hung around there as a squatter in the 19th century. All the buildings and gardens in the Alhambra have their intricate history, and Ana did an excellent job at presenting them in great detail. Her storytelling made our visit a very joyful experience. I recommend her wholeheartedly. And when I asked her for her favorite restaurant, she recommended a place where was heavenly. Which place it was? You have to ask her yourself! De avond startte dat we werden opgehaald. Een hele goede zet, want met deze temperaturen en de hoogte van de wijk waar we naar toe gingen was dat nodig. Meteen tijdens de rit is er interesse en maak je kennis met Grenada. Aangekomen bij het restaurant werden we verwelkomd met een drankje en Ana vertelde over de cultuur vanuit historisch perspectief. I visited Granada with my 82 year old mother and 14 year old son. I wanted them to see the Alhambra with a guide, but I was nervous about being able to keep up with a tour group. My son also take in information differently than most people and I wanted him to be able to ask as many questions as he wanted. Ana's tour met these needs and more.
