Where do we start…Valeria ist absolutely amazing! Communication with here was easy fast and very nice! She help us create a fantastic experience at the colosseum and forum romanum. My family and I booked this private tour with Valeria for January 1st, 2022, and she and her tour were absolutely perfect!! We booked this tour at the end of our stay in Rome. We thought we had a really good understanding of Ancient and Modern Rome. Valeria was an absolutely library of knowledge about interesting facts, history and architectural wonders! We were also tired and a bit worn down, especially after having survived the Ikea of all Roman wonders, also known as the Vatican tour! Valeria lead us around Rome, but at our pace. And her photo skills, absolutely breathtaking!! She would frequently show us what she captured on her lens to be sure she was getting the shots we wanted. There is so much to see and so many ways to spend your vacation dollar in Rome, that it can often be struggle to know what to book. I absolutely encourage you to book with Valeria. Valeria is lovely and professional. We enjoyed the tour and found her dealings with us before and during the tour effortlessly. However, our twins are 10 years old and I feel the scavenger hunt element was too young for them. I think there needs to be 2 options - this one for up to age 8 and then another one that is more challenging for older kids. I also wish there was more time devoted to the Forum. At least another 30 mins could be added to this tour as it felt very rushed. Overall, I would recommend this tour. Tour for kids

I was looking for a unique experience to tour the colosseum with my children (9 and 7- boys), keeping them engaged and interested and this was a disappointment. It was very history heavy and they quickly lost interest. If you’re looking for an in-depth understanding of Ancient Rome, this is a great tour but if you are looking for one that’s more interactive and holds kids’ attention, this isn’t it! Valeria was really friendly, approachable, and incredibly knowledgeable. Her architecture background brought a really great insight to the tour of Colosseum and Forum. If you’re questioning the cost in anyway, I would say it is worth every penny. Not only do you have the great knowledge, one to one attention of Valeria and therefore you can ask any questions, but also when the attractions are so busy it’s incredibly valuable to have your own personal guide who can take you to one side easily and find somewhere quieter to give you more information. We had such a great experience on our Colosseum tour with Valeria. She was very easy to deal with in the lead up and on the day it was really easy to find her among the crowds. The tour was fantastic. Valeria had amazing knowledge of all of the history of the Colosseum and was great at engaging our 12 and 9 year old daughters throughout, as well as accommodating my 79 year old mother. We loved the Colosseum/Forum tour with Valeria. She is smart, interesting, and caring. When we originally booked for 10:30am, she wisely recommended we move earlier to avoid the sun and crowds. Valeria was absolutely the right choice for our Vatican Experience plus St Peter’s Basilica. She was the right mix of religion, building, history and amusing facts to keep the four of us entertained during our visit. She skilfully manoeuvred us into areas to talk to us and point out information and show/explain everything. I’d been to the Vatican 10 years prior but got so much more out of this visit. The only difficulty was the explanation in where to actually meet from the Get Your Guide instructions. It did not explain clearly.
