We are coming very regularly in Venice that we love and we decided, for once to discover something outside of Venice - Padova. We took the train with Roko, an opportunity for him to provide an historical perspective of Italy and its different regions- also speaking about the rivalry between Venice and Padova. Then we spent 4 hours in Padova and we had the opportunity to discover all the secrets of Padova. Roko has an extensive historical perspective not only on main hitsorical events that made Italy but also on the life of people hundred of years ago. i escaped Venice for half a day to explore Padua with Roko. He was infinitively patient in suffering my poor Italian and it was much a language lesson as a tour. the Palazzo della Ragione was worth the trip alone - a magnificent fully intact mediaeval civic and legal hall. The cathedral had queues of pilgrims visiting the tomb of St Anthony& Roko taught me much about the history of this rival city to Venice.Tour of Padua

My private Padua tour with Roko was fascinating. He is a font of knowledge and was able to answer and explain any questions I had. He gave a masterly narrative of the places he took me - I would have never known about them without him. Also I am a bit older and tired from my journeys and Roko courteously tailored the tour to my pace, making sure I had rest stops. We sampled some of the marvelous food and coffee at a couple of venues. My main objective was the Scrovegni Chapel, where I had trouble with the Italian website. Roko made the visit easy and guided me through Giotto’s frescoes. He also explained the ones in the very interesting Palace of Reason. I had a marvelous time. Knowledgeable and Accommodating

Roko met us in Venice and took us by train to enjoy the wonders of Padua. He made it easy to traverse the trains and made sure we never felt uncomfortable. He was well versed on the history of the city and was able to make the town come to life as we traversed from each magical area. He even knew the best place to grab some delicious treats before our adventure ended with our train back to Venice. We had a wonderful half day tour in Venice with Roko. He is super knowledgeable and interesting, bringing history to life and injecting humor into the many sights and cultural treasures in Venice. We avoided crowds while getting to explore some off-the-beaten path destinations, as well as major monuments, like San Marco. Roko kept us fully entertained with his command of history and his obvious personal appreciation for the art and history throughout the city. He pointed out many small, but interesting details that most tourists, will no doubt, miss. I highly recommend Roko!Roko is the man in Venice!

The tour was excellent. Roko worked very hard to make the tour special for us. I reached out to Roko because I wanted to get engaged while in Italy, and I wanted to have someone take a photo of the engagement, but I wanted to surprise my soon to be fiancée, and I didn't want to give my camera to someone on the street. We had a wonderful time wandering the streets of Venice with Roko! I loved sneaking through hidden passageways, and avoiding the crowds while learning about the rich history of Venice. Venice. He was delightful and very knowledgeable about the area. He accommodated our group of six, ranging in ages from 43 to 78, making sure we all stay together and still got the most out of the tour. We stopped at a lovely Cafe for a refreshment, and he gave us a detailed tour of a beautiful church off the beaten path. We had a wonderful day and are so grateful!Roko was a gem!

I don’t know if our trip to Venice would have been as amazing without our time with Roko! Our family (my husband and two teenage boys) spent two days exploring the city’s beautiful churches, palaces & the hidden streets.. he shared interesting stories that keep us all entertained.. He lead us to some amazing food destinations too, really felt he cared that we got everything we waned and more out of our time in the city!! For my mother-in-low’s Birthday, we spent some days in Venice with my parents in law which are already nearly eighty and ninety years old. Roko gave us a great guided tour of the Palazzo Ducale in Italian. He very wisely adapted to the demands of our small but very mixed group by pointing out interesting details which leaded (virtually) step by step to a good overview. He managed to answer every simple or strange question with a serious and delightful answer. For our stay in Venice, he could give us a lot of helpful tips. While we were excited about the tour based on the description provided on your website, we regret to inform you that our experience fell significantly short of our expectations. The tour was advertised as an engaging adventure suitable for families with children, promising interactive activities and an entertaining experience for all. Unfortunately, our actual experience was quite the opposite. During the tour, we found that it lacked the interactive and kid-friendly elements that were promised. Most notably, our host had specifically assured us that there would be a treasure hunt as part of the tour, which was a significant factor in our decision to book it. Regrettably, the promised treasure hunt did not take place, and this led to profound disappointment among the children in our group. As parents, we were also disappointed that our expectations were not met. We understand that unexpected variations can occur in any tour, but we believe that the tour we received did not align with the description provided on your website. Roko knows what he's talking about and we learned so much that I can't even remember everything. We had for 3 hours, but I had trouble walking and he stayed with us for 3,5 hours to make sure we saw everything and took lots of photos. We had a lovely time with Roko. He showed us the “real” Venice. He took us down the quiet streets and shared his love and knowledge of Art. Spending our time with Roko was definitely one of the highlights of our trip! From the moment we met him he was so easy to talk to, and it was more like getting to spend the day with a great family friend. His English is great, so there was no barrier there. The tour we went on was perfect because he took us to a side of Venice we would not have discovered on our own. We enjoyed so many delicious pastries, cicchetti and wine. He was so knowledgeable about the Church of the Friars (that was included in our tour), and it was breathtaking. We could not be more pleased. The only thing I am sorry about is that I did not book him for more time while we were there. But, I promise, that when I go back, my first priority will be to book more time with him. We had a delightful experience exploring Venice with Roko in August. We truly enjoyed our Kickstart Tour with Roko. We had just arrived hours earlier to Venice, and it was the first city on our vacation through Italy. Roko was charming, friendly and really knew a lot about Venice. We learned so much and his stories kept our very jet lagged kids entertained; the "Friar's Church" was a highlight! When we finished, our three kids were very appreciative of his knowledge and enjoyed the history that he shared.
