Actually we only booked a tour in Delhi with Ritesh.He really did a great job and told us so much about this beautiful city…as our next tour guide declined the golden triangle tour to Agra and Jaipur Ritesh did not hesitate and organized that tour for us within short notice. I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the Heritage Walking Tour of Old Delhi with the exceptional guidance of Ritesh, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. This tour is an absolute gem for anyone interested in the rich cultural tapestry of India, beautifully woven with the threads of its four main religions—Hinduism, Sikhism, Jainism, and Buddhism. Ritesh's deep understanding of the intricacies of each religion was remarkable. There were times when I actually felt like I should be taking notes because there was so much amazing historical info provided from Ritesh everywhere we went. Throughout the 3-hour adventure, Ritesh maintained an enthusiastic and friendly approach, ensuring that I was engaged. And his ability to convey complex religious histories with clarity and enthusiasm was educating and inspiring. I would also like to call attention to the rickshaw ride, which was indeed fun, but it served a functional purpose in getting us from a few different points of interest that would have been challenging to walk to and from. As well, after the tour concluded, Ritesh helped me locate my prearranged taxi driver, so I had an easy transition from the tour back into my taxi and then back to my hotel, which I greatly appreciated. Ritesh was an amazing guide. He studied history and political science at university and so he infuses his tour with an extensive history lesson which is very informative and really gives you a good sense for how the city developed. We booked last minute and Ritesh gave us full instructions where to meet and what to expect. He was very patient as we arrived late due to traffic and in the wrong place but that didn’t distract him. We saw mosques, temples, visited markets, enjoyed street food and had a fun rickshaw ride. Ritesh knew so much history about Old Delhi and shared his passion for the subject with us so well. We had a wonderful afternoon tour with Ritesh. We had never been to India before and had only arrived in Delhi the day before, so everything was very new and exciting! We did the Delhi food tour with Ritesh last night, it was fabulous. We got to sample such a variety of Indian dishes and go to food locations in old Delhi that we wouldn’t otherwise have gone to by ourselves. I felt safe walking the streets with Ritesh and also with his food selections, we wanted to try the national dish water bomb but he couldn’t find a venue that was cooking it safely with filtered water so he said best not to try it for now. He explained a lot about different monuments and shops as we walked too. He was very knowledgeable about food and we were able to choose the dishes we wanted to try and he picked the best venue for each food. Communication was also great, Ritesh reached out prior and explained meeting location and information. I loved this tour and would highly recommend for anyone looking to sample Delhi cuisine and eat like a local. I recommend the Chat and the paranthas, both amazing! Having arrived in Delhi and wanting to experience the best of the food in the City in the short time we had we chose With Locals and Ritesh. We met in Chandi Chowk ( pre communication was excellent) and nothing prepares you for the assault on the senses that this part of Delhi does. Ritesh is super friendly and throughout the evening as we were guided expertly through the maze of markets and people and traffic we chatted about life, food, everything. It was a great evening. We started with a "Japanese style" Samosa from one of the oldest cafes in Chandi. We then went on to the Paratha district to have the most amazing hot cheese bread. We then switch to Nagsr for the most amazing butter chicken and Lentil daal. Ritesh was the perfect host on an amazing night of food, travel in a tuk tuk (auto). We had a FANTASTIC food tour with Ritesh. His knowledge and expertise surrounding Delhi cuisine was phenomenal. We tried multiple dishes and quite honestly, they were all outstanding. We did the ‘10 tastings of New Delhi’ street food tour with Ritesh earlier this month and had the most amazing time!
