We toured with Daiane on our first day in Auckland and it was a good way to get our bearings. After 8 years in town she has a solid list of local favorite spots and interesting stories. This wasnβt βAuckland Facts and Triviaβ, this was a chance to see the heart of the city through the eyes of someone who enjoys living here. Getting to know Auckland
Daiane is lovely and gave a good get acquainted walk around the city. She is very flexible as to what you want to see. She needs however to be more knowledgeable about Auckland, history and general information. Wonderful get acquainted walk
We had an incredible tour thanks to Priscilla. She was punctual, knowledgeable, engaging and an absolute joy. We love using WithLocals and always enjoy spending time with our guides and Priscilla was certainly one of the best weβve had. Thank you! Fantastic Tour Experience
Esther provided an outstanding walking tour of Auckland. She effortlessly tailored the experience to our interests and expertly navigated the city's streets, sharing captivating insights and answering all our questions along the way. Esther's passion for Auckland was evident, making the tour both informative and enjoyable. Highly recommended!Great time in Auckland
Since nobodyβs perfectβ¦. .I did not rate our tour at 10β¦..but we had a perfect experience with Priscilla!
Right on time, funny and enthousiaste, she tools us to more places than we expected and was very good at telling the Auckland story as well as topping it of with her own experience of living in Auckland.
High praises to Priscilla for a greeterβs tour.Nobodyβs perfectβ¦.
Priscilla was great. We were able to see areas of Auckland that we would have missed otherwise.
She was helpful and also attentive to my wife's handicap needs.
My wife and I highly recommend her.

Best food tour we have done with any guide in any country...and we have done many. Daiane is delightful and really knows her stuff. Her selections ran a delicious gamet from beginning to end. She gave us a perfect culinary day. We highly recommend her!Glorious Time!
We are so happy we chose Priscila as our guide for Auckland. She went above and beyond, taking us to see many beautiful sites, picking us up at our cruise ship and dropping us off at the airport. She is a wealth of knowledge and is a really expert guide. We highly recommend using Priscila as a tour guide.Happy we chose Priscila
Daiane was a great tour guide! She modified her normal route so that we could experience some special outdoor markets that only happen once a month. She was very knowledgeable and shared some great happy hour and restaurant special tips. She was punctual and very communicative. Overall wonderful way to get to know Auckland at the beginning of our trip.
Daiane was very good guide, and was fine with us skipping the first tasting, which included Marmite. π The rest of the tastings were great (especially the green-lipped mussels!) The only negative was that some of the restaurants didnβt seem to be prepared for us, so there was a bit of a wait for the food. Other than that, an excellent tour!Excellent mussels!
The food tour was great. Our tour guide, Diane, was very communicative, making the meet up run smoothly on our first day in Auckland. Diane catered to our food preferences and allergies, and was simply a lovely host. Fair warning - Be ready to eatβ¦.very generous with the βtastesβ. Great Intro to Aukland
Had a great introductory tour of Auckland with Ester. Got the lay of the land, learned some history, and discovered some hidden gems. She also gave us pointers on good restaurants, and other sites to see while we were in town. Highly recommend! Hidden gems!
Normally I don't write reviews but it popped up in my email after many months and I took it as a sign. I don't believe I had taken a tour with this company before although I have read reviews from people who enjoyed their tour in other places. Sadly, not our experience. Our guide, who was very nice, was very new on the job (she mentioned that she hadn't received a pay cheque yet), and in our opinion was poorly trained and not ready to host guests. She could not answer any questions about the history of Auckland or any of the buildings we walked past, had to read her notes on her phone all the time, and repeated that this tour was to show us hidden secrets and treasures and not talk about history. Perhaps that was true, but walking past a building and saying there is a speakeasy in the basement isn't much of a tour either way. We felt we received a poorly trained guide and booked a tour that had very little in the way of content. Fail/fail. This tour was terrible
Daiane was a lovely person but the food was not good. It was mostly small, fried samples. We actually ended our tour early. No one in our group of four was happy with this experience. Lovely person, bad food
Jarrod was a nice guy, punctual and accommodating. However he is new to being a tour guide and needs more experience and knowledge about the sites and history of Auckland. City tour
We booked the 2-hour orientation tour with Priscilla and could not have been happier with the time we spent. The weather did not cooperate, as it was raining pretty hard, so we all did an audible and were given a driving tour around the city and across the bridge to the North Shore. Great views, great conversation, and we learned a lot about Auckland and its geography.
Priscilla was outstanding. Perfect Orientation to Auckland
Daiane was wonderful. Very knowledgeable about local foods. She asked for, listened to and accommodated our input. Brought us to a lot of local eateries with great food and atmosphere. Especially enjoyed The Shakespeare Tavern. She is very personable, enthusiastic and easy to talk with. I highly recommend Daiane. Awesome Food Tour with Daiane
Cristine was an awesome guide, very pleasent, eager to please and make you comfortable, information about places with personal experience made it much more interesting, picking places for tasting was well planned and very flexible in going along to places that I felt was interesting as well.
She spent more time than she was booked for and made it a pleasant afternoon. Pleasent
Diane was informative, enthusiastic and enjoyable to be with. She catered our tour to a few interests and needs we have while making sure we saw Aucklands highlights. Great experience!Great Guide
After a rough start, we finally connected for a private tour of Auckland that was 4 times the regular price to primarily walk a few blocks to the sky tower, St.Patrick's church and Marina to have an expensive lunch. The best part was going to the wintergardens to see the beautiful flowers and also look at Ste Mary's historic church.Marcela
