We would like to recommend a tour with Muriel as an exceptional experience! We are a family of 4 with two pre-teens who are easily bored. Muriel planned an excellent tour which kept our daughters engaged and enthusiastic and was brilliant for the whole family. The stops that were included were well thought out (and delicious!) and with our time in Barcelona being limited, we felt that this tour covered all of the most important features of Barcelona. Our original tour guide canceled on us but Octavio jumped right in and saved the day! We only had a few hours in Barcelona and wanted to see as much as we could. Octavio showed us so many sites and gave us history lessons that included a wide knowledge of architecture styles of buildings/homes and monuments/art pieces. He showed us some of his favorite things as well. The churros with chocolate dipping sauce were sooo good! We ended it all with a glass of champagne and a really good restaurant recommendation. We did a fantastic walking tour through the old parts of the city, and ended up at the Maremagnum mall, where Muriel helped us to arrange for a portside lunch reservation. Her love for her city really shines through. One thing that I really appreciated is how flexible she is-- as we were brand new to the city, we asked her to meet us at our hotel, which she did. Federico really knows his stuff and then some. Never thought getting to grips with the Habsburgs, Bourbons and thalassocratic Aragonese Empire could be fun but he managed to make all the historical influences comprehensible and vivid by referring to artefacts in the landscape. The tour moved at a manageable pace and Federico avoided predictably over-crowded areas by steering us towards lesser-known but no less impressive buildings, monuments and other works from Gaudi, Picasso etc. Venues for break stops were stylish, well-chosen and obscure: several would have been impossible to find without his guidance.Entertaining and educational

Philippe is very knowledgeable, took the time to understand what we had done already at the beginning of the tour to tailor our experience.
