Lusi ist die beste Reiseführerin, die uns in Barcelona passieren konnte. Ich kenne Barcelona von mehreren Urlauben schon ganz gut, reise aber dieses Mal das 1. Mal mit meinen Eltern (82 & 76 Jahre) zusammen nach Barcelona und wollte mir selber eine Freude machen mit der Tour "Hidden Gems" um ggf. noch dazuzulernen & Neues zu entdecken. Absolute Empfehlung diese Tour am Anfang eines Barcelona Urlaubs zu machen, dann bleibt genug Zeit, um vieles was Lusi aufgrund der Zeit nur auf der Tonspur erzählen kann, auch zu erleben. Für den 82.igsten Geburtstag meines Papa´s habe ich auch die "Montserrat Tour" mit Wanderung bei Lusi gebucht - lange im Voraus :-). Ein unvergessliche Erlebnis. Jetzt zu den Fakten: Lusi spricht ein phantastisches Deutsch - das war für meine Eltern sehr wichtig und ich konnte mich entspannen, weil ich nicht ständig übersetzen musste. We learned so much about the history of the city and the architecture. We also were able to ask him anything we wanted to know about the Spanish lifestyle, traditions, politics, etc. No subject was off limits. He's a real pro at this and his enthusiasm is contagious. Krisztina is a classy guide and a good talker (and listener) with impeccable manners and a certain gentleness that comes with a good education driven by curiosity about the world. Her vast knowledge of the city and its history allows her to navigate through different topics effortlessly. Some guides might be a bit mechanical in their delivery but not Krisztina - her tour was more akin to meeting with an old friend. I recommend her to anyone genuinely willing to discover what makes Barcelona so unique rather than do a "been there, done that tour". I would compare her narrative style and attitude to Bartók's "Music for Strings, Percussion, and Celesta": modern but not show-offy; lively but not artificially agitated; multilayered but not overwhelming; intelligent and witty but humbled by centuries of accumulated experiences and traditions. Lilliia provided us with an interesting and fun tour of the city centre with the focus on buildings and architecture especially Gaudi. we ended at the sacrada familia (outside tour). according to our opinion she is very knowledgeable and flexible adapting here stories to the questions abd circumstances. she also knows the cultural scene well. a suggestion from our side is to add a bit more historical context of the city and spain to the information. that is useful background to the very interesting tour. thanks a lot for this great 3 hour tour in sunny Barcelona in november!great city walk in Barcelona centre

Wir (zwei Paare) hatten eine Stadtführung „Highlights and Hidden Gems“ für eine private Tour in Barcelona gebucht. Unsere Stadtführerin Lusi erwartete uns am vereinbarten Treffpunkt und zusammen mit ihr hatten wir einen entspannten Spaziergang durch die Altstadt von Barcelona. Der Titel „Höhepunkte und versteckte Juwelen“ wurde voll erfüllt. Lusi ist eine exzellente Kennerin ihrer Stadt und sie hat uns einen guten Überblick gegeben und versteckte Orte gezeigt, an denen wir vermutlich ohne ihre Begleitung achtlos vorbeigegangen wären. Sie hat uns auch besondere Restaurants und Geschäfte von innen gezeigt die wir nicht einfach zu einer Besichtigung betreten hätten. Insgesamt hatten wir eine sehr interessante Führung und möchten uns ganz herzlich bei Lusi für die angenehmen Stunden in Barcelona bedanken. Tip: Eine private Führung in einer Kleingruppe max. 6 – 8 Personen ist bei jeder Städtereise sehr zu empfehlen. Tip: Wir hatten bei der Buchung als Startermin 11:00 gewählt. Lusi hatte uns im Voraus kontaktiert und empfohlen, die Tour erst um 12:00 zu beginnen, da in Barcelona viele Bereiche erst später öffnen. Hier sollte man auf die Empfehlung der lokalen Guides vertrauen. Tip: Es ist immer sinnvoll die Stadtführung direkt am Anfang einer Städtereise durchzuführen. Sehr interessante Stadtführung

My wife and I visited Barcelona for the second time a few days ago. On our first visit, we were there almost a week and walked, on our own, through most of the city after taking a Hop on-Hop off bus to get a layout of the city and its sites. While we saw many things, we knew virtually nothing of what we were looking at! Our most recent was only for 2 days and we wanted to make that time well spent, so I booked a 3-hour walking tour with Sebastian. We met in our hotel lobby at the agreed upon time and started our tour. As I requested of him when I booked, we spent the entire time walking in the Gothic Quarter. Sebastian showed us many things there that we probably walked by on our first visit without noticing them or their significance. He had a great command of the history of Barcelona and Spain and easily tied events together bringing us up to the current time. Sebastian's easygoing manner and willingness to discuss any topic that we brought up made for a very enlightening yet enjoyable time. We discussed topics like politics, religion, cultural values and many other topics related to Barcelona's long history without him expressing any strong opinions, and it allow us to form our own opinions based on what we heard. Sebastian also was kind enough to point out a number of shops that he thought were high quality and places for us to do some shopping. After we left him, we took advantage of what he told us. We returned to many of those shops and bought many things for people at home, including gifts for ourselves. At the end of our time with him, I asked if he was free for the remainder of the day but, unfortunately, he had other things that he had to get done, so we had to part ways. I strongly recommend Sebastian as a tour guide for your visit to Barcelona and would have no reservation about using him for our next visit to Barcelona.A Time Too Short With Sebastian
