My wife and I had arrived earlier in the afternoon, and had a scheduled a tour with Bea in the early evening. She was the perfect introduction to Budapest, helping to orient us both on the major sites and on some of the nooks and crannies - the lessor known sites - and enabling us to navigate our way around for the balance of our visit. She also took the time to explain the history, giving us a deeper appreciation of what we were seeing. Would highly recommend her as your guide! The Perfect Introduction!

Gabor took my mom, sister, and I from Heroes Square all the way past St. Stephen's, the Opera, and Parliament and across the river to Buda and the Castle District. He taught us about Hungarian history - pointed out architectural details - patiently answered our questions - treated us to coffee and a snack. He tailored the tour to our requests. Andras provided an excellent three-hour walking tour, which he kindly started at our hotel. He is extremely knowledgeable and brings the 1,000-year history (longer if you include its Roman origins) of Budapest to life. Most of the Pest side of the city was built in the late 1800s and he helped us to visualize the urban plan and architecture come into being. My favourite part, perhaps, was a visit to a beautiful and storied café from that period, where Andres treated us to a coffee. We highly recommend Andras as a local guide to Budapest. When we failed to show up on time for our tour, Nick called to find out where we were. I had the time wrong and we discussed options to meet up and make the most of our tour. He made sure we saw the most important places to us and yet didn’t make us feel rushed or like we missed anything, Nick was very knowledgeable, but also told us stories that we will remember instead of just dates and facts! He also gave us help with restaurants and river boats. It’s no wonder Nick has so many top ratings. We’d definitely recommend touring with him. Nick was so pleaso and infirmative!!

Evi spricht fließend Deutsch, hat uns viele Sehenswürdigkeiten von Budapest gezeigt und auch ein paar interessante Informationen erzählt, die nicht in jedem Reiseführer stehen. We had an excellent time with Andras and learned so much about Budabest and Hungary's past and present. It was like touring the city with our best friend. From the very first contact from Andras he was responsive and very flexible and provided us with options to sell t on our own. He also made sure that we knew how to use the Metro to get to our activies we booked for the next day. You could tell how much Hungary meant to him. The only thing we wished was different was that we would have liked to have spent more time with Andras. We hope that if he ever makes it to Northern California, he will look us up. Andras met us at our hotel and was warm and friendly. He listened to what we’d seen the previous day, and adapted brilliantly to suit us and help us get the most out of the time we had with him. He was so full of great history and observations, as well as wonderful amusing anecdotes. We were full of questions, and he answered them all fully and thoughtfully. It was wonderful being hosted for the day by Beata. She was a delight and full of interesting information on a range of topics relating to the city and the country. We walked to the various locations then travelled by tram and the Metro, which was impressive. Later we enjoyed a delicious lunch in an established, authentic Hungarian restaurant that I would never have found, where the service was professional and friendly. The price was extremely reasonable. Our tour was, without doubt, the highlight of my short trip and a very happy memory. I was so sorry our time had to end! Don’t hesitate- just book this! A treat. We only had a weekend in Budapest so I booked Tibi for a 3 hour tour. We easily could have spent all day with him. He has a wealth of information about a wide variety of subjects from the history of the city, the government, where to get the best food, art, and so much more. He was friendly and easy going and a massive help in showing us what he could in a short time, and maneuvering us through the city via public transport. He went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and saw what we wanted to. Highly recommend. He clearly loves what he does and is awesome at it!
