I went on my tour with Daiyoung right after I arrived in Busan. We went to some of the typical tourist places like Jagalchi Market and Yongdusan Park (location of Busan Tower), but also some less known places that were just as, or even more beautiful. Even in the tourist places, Daiyoung was able to guide me to have the full local experience by trying the traditional food, drinks, and activities. Daiyoung is a very friendly guide who is 100% a Busan local. I’m thankful he took the time to introduce his hometown to me as if I was a friend or family memberGreat introduction to a beautiful city

Daiyoung was a lovely man and very knowledgeable oh the are. Dama was very easy to work with and accommodating. I have some special needs as I'm in a wheelchair and she was very understanding that. We had already visited the fish market and Gamechon and decided to meet her downtown. I probably should have been more specific in what I wanted to see but I didn't know much about Busan. We ended up mostly touring the international market and she bought us a lot of street food, included in the price and even gave us a gift of a mixture of Korean snacks to take back with us. Her English is excellent and I would be happy and would enjoy spending another day with her anytime.Wonderful tour guide for expatriates view

Increíble, este guía es de lo mejor que hemos tenido, éramos 4 personas mi esposa, mis dos hijos de 11 y 6 años, Jeffrey fue paciente con todos, nos explicó en detalle cada rincón de Busán, tal como dice en la página nos mostró gemas ocultas de la ciudad sobre todo en la aldea de Gamcheon, incluso hizo más de lo descrito en el plan de visita, nos ayudo a comprar nuestros boletos del tren bala hacia Seúl, si alguien piensa en contratar un tour en es español en Busan definitivamente que Jeffrey es la mejor opción. Pues hizo que la experiencia fuera mágica para toda mi familia, a parte de explicarnos cada parte de la ciudad en español, se tomaba la tarea de repasarlas con mi hijo de 11 años en español e inglés, es curioso pq mi hijo siempre tenía temor de hablar inglés por temor a equivocarse, pero con este guía se atrevió incluso a pedir cosas y hablar fluido en ingles, estamos muy felices y agradecidos. We had a great day exploring the charming neighborhoods and bustling city center of Busan with the lovely Dama. We were in town for one day off a cruise ship and wanted to cover a lot of ground. Dama was a terrific host. She made everything easy with great communication and was thoughtful in accommodating our interests. We especially wanted to shop for Korean beauty products and Dama got us to the best places and helped us learn with her translation skills. She really made us feel special and we left Busan with a better appreciation of the people and place . We spent a Great Morning with Aulia in town and Bad a Lot of fun. Aulia is a very friendly Person with a good sense of Humor. She showed us around and explained everything in very good English. Daiyoung was a good tour guide and took us around the fish market and night food market. We were able to try all the different foods and good start to Korean foods/market. Daiyoung would ask what we wanted to eat/try which was respectful, but we had no idea about Korean food and wished we were just given the foods to try. We had a good night with Daiyoung, however for the price of the food tour, we were unsure if we had value for money as we selected what we wanted as oppose to being given. Nonetheless, highly recommend Daiyoung as a tour guide, he was so friendly, informative and thank you from Australia.

My wife and I engaged Dama on a full day customisation tour on what we wanted to see. Dama planned it well, a friendly and thoughtful guide. The trip was relaxing as we travel between points on cab and only walk at designated place of interest to save time. Had initially wanted to spend 3-4 days in Busan but with Dama full day tour. We pretty much experienced and see all of Busan. That leave us more time to visit other city of Korea. Thank you Dama. One day see and experience it all

We had a great evening with Aulia. She speaks very good english and is an enthusiastic guide. She showed us around the night market and explained all the streetfood. The main fish market is closed on Tuesdays, but we had a delicious meal of raw fish and fried eel at a lively smaller market close by. Great experience with Aulia

We had an awesome experience with Aulia! shortly after we met we walked along Jagalchi fish market and were treated to a brief history and some facts about the surrounding area. as we walked Aulia helped to show us the different things available and to gather her own information on our likes and dislikes, from there we were off to a great hidden gem for a Raw fish experience. Aulia diligently explained each step of the local customs for consuming the amazing spread they brought out to us and shared in our excitement trying each dish, all the while we were getting to know each other better and becoming fast friends. After eating to our heart’s content we set off towards the night market as Aulia pointed out some great spots, and some of her favourite dishes, showing us a few behind the scenes peeks as we went. At the Night market she took care to find a dish we hadn't tried and didn't want to miss and went out of her way to make sure we had that experience. By the time our tour came to an end we were saying ‘see you soon’ to a friend rather than ‘goodbye’ to a guide. We highly recommend seeking out Aulia and going for an experience with her. Awesome seafood experience

Our first day in Busan was special thanks to a wonderful walk with Daiyoung. From the start it felt like reconnecting with an old friend, he took us to a local fish cake shop, a hidden gem we wouldn’t have found on our own, then we wandered through narrow streets to the night market discovering local traditions and meeting the people making great foods. Daiyoung’s warmth and knowledge made us feel right at home, and his passion for his city shone through with every story he shared. We ended our walk by going through a vibrant shopping district to Busan Tower, enjoying the view from the top, a few suggestions of where else to go from Daiyoung, and collected a few souvenirs. It was a fantastic experience filled with local culture, great food and a lot of heart. We highly recommend a walk with Daiyoung when visiting Busan. Great walk through Busan with Daiyoung

Busan in the summer is not for the faint hearted. Hot with extreme humidity and the relentless sun, the allure of the air conditioned interior can be all consuming. However, Daiyoung was cognizant with our discomfort and showed us much of the seafood market remaining mindful of our sensitivity to over 90 degree fahrenheit weather and 85 % humidity. We had a great time with Daiyoung who speaks very good english. Learned a lot about the seafood market, the neighborhood and the people. Hot, but fun and informative!

We stopped in Busan for the day as part of cruise and spent the day with Daiyoung. He was an amazing guide that took us to all 3 of the markets and a couple of great spots with no tourists for great views of Busan. We are foodies and wanted to try so many local specialties and he knew all the perfect places to take us. The markets are a maze and having Daiyoung with us to navigate/translate as we explored throughout the day was such a blessing. Super friendly, punctual, helpful, and overall a great guy. Many other cruisers booked through the cruise line and paid 3 to 4 times the price for the same tour so i would like to also add that being on a private tour with Daiyoung was not only superior but also a way better value for the money. We were just focused on food and shopping, but Daiyoung can customize for you. Our teenagers and and us parents had a fantastic memorable day with Daiyoung. Highly recommend, our teens said he was their fave guide of the trip!Fantastic Experience with Daiyoung!

After an evening street food (and more) tour, we had a full day tour the next day with Aulia to discover Haeundae Beach and the coast, Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, Dakbatgol Mural Village and Gamcheon Culture Village. It was great spending 2 days with Aulia, we got to know each other better, she's a happy soul, full of energy, very open and, again, very flexible. I definitely recommend touring a new city with a local, you will see and hear more about culture and traditions and won't get caught in tourist traps...

Dama was the perfect tour guide for me…I just wanted to go for the day from Seoul and a solo traveler she adapted the tour for my needs..Without her I would not have gone as Withlocals only appears to offer tours for groups of four…she was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, professional and flexible…In addition to English and Korean, I was surprised that she also spoke Spanish…I will recommend her to friends traveling in the future….and will consider Withlocals in the future, if options for solo travelers become available …Excelente Busan in a day!

Dama accommodated our many special wishes and created a tour specific to our interests. She was very patient with our many questions and not shy to talk about her experiences and perceptions. Good seafood and interesting location. a good tip on going to level 7 for a free view of bay. the bag of Korean snacks was a nice touch Dama didn't seem especially knowledgeable about seafood or passionate about Korean culture - quite shy and not engaging. We were a bit disappointed in only eating at one location and being asked what we want to eat. We expect local guide to tell us what is best and typical of food heritage. Maybe if she could tell more about the fish market and interact with the stall holders, we could get more of a feel for seafood in Busan. Interesting 3 dishes but not a food ‘tour’
