Naomi was ill so she kindly arranged for her friend Isadora to host us. We had a great day and the next day we did a cooking class with Isadora. Kooben Tseek is the name of her cooking school. The experience made us feel very welcome in Guanajuato.Great experience

Isodora was lovely to know. She arrived on time and proceeded to help us plan the next 3 hours inGuanajuato. We enjoyed learning so much about the city on our walking tour. Isodora is a chef and knows the food and bar stops not to miss. We walked all over and had a great time with Isodora. We fully recommend her to you. Naomi gave us a great tour around Guanajuato. We had so much fun. She showed us all the local spots around Guanajuato and shared a lot of tips and local food we could taste. We even went on top of the University to the Observatory which was a unique experience. We did the tour in english. She speaks perfect english and had a lot of good Energy. Isador’s tour was not only full of delicious and traditional foods, it was a great experience made better by her local knowledge. We do food tours in nearly every city we visit and this one is not to be missed. She is a local chef and teaches traditional cooking so she knows where to get the best examples of great food. We spent an afternoon wandering around Guanajuato with Naomi and it was an absolutely perfect introduction to Guanajuato. Naomi loves her city and we loved it, too. She gave great advice about shopping, food, activities and museums. She was so knowledgeable and friendly. She was available for advice by WhatsApp for the remainder of our time in the city. Isadora went above and beyond to curate a fascinating experience for us, giving us glimpses into the life of a Guanajuato local. We sampled various types of foods from street vendors, mercado stalls, hole-in-the-wall restaurants and old cantinas that we would have never thought to visit by ourselves. We visited a few different neighborhoods, walked through some of the tunnels, visited some local parks and generally had a really enjoyable time. The food was excellent and Isadora’s guidance was fun and educative. I would go back again in a heartbeat!Truly authentic local experience

Naomi is... Wonderful! She is very easygoing and relaxed, we loved our stroll through Guanajuato and Naomi exposing us to real Mexico. Her recommendations for restaurants, pulque (a light alcoholic drink), hiking, and leather in Guanajuato was superb. We saw her on the street the next night and she was so warm... A true friend. Naomi took us for a wonderful afternoon walk. She tailored our tour to things we were interested in and gave great information about the city and its history. She pointed out restaurants and shops for us to visit. We visited La Presa de la Olla stopping along the way to see some local hidden gems like Parlemento Bar located in a beautiful old mansion converted to house small boutique stores and businesses located by the municipal palace. Overall, a great way to get to know the city and kickstart your visit! Great afternoon in Guanajuato!!

We had a wonderful afternoon tasting delicious bites with Isadora!! She went out of her way to procure items in advance when she knew the vendor would be closed prior to our arrival. The tour included a bus ride to the La Presa de la Olla area for enchiladas mineras. Fun to see a different neighborhood. She introduced us to her secret place to end the day.
