Olivia was one of the best guides we have had, on a number of tours with different companies in European countries. She was prepared, extremely knowledgeable, insightful about the history and culture of her adopted hometown. We had the pleasure of having Welly as a guide in 2023. When we returned to Paris to this year, we were excited to find he was available to give us a tour again, so we booked him again. Die Führung war ziemlich teuer, aber Romy war großartig! Sie kennt Paris, seine verschiedenen Viertel, Straßen und die Geschichte dazu. Dabei hat sie sich sehr auf uns und insbesondere auf unsere 10jährige Tochter eingestellt - und ein super-leckeres Eis auf dem Weg gab es auch noch. Romy hat uns viele Empfehlungen und Tipps gegeben. Da das Wetter am Vormittag schlecht war, hat sie uns nicht nur angeboten, die Führung auf den Nachmittag zu verschieben, sondern hat uns auch noch Vorschläge für den verregneten Vormittag gemacht. Wir haben die Zeit mit Romy sehr genossen und viele Anregungen mit nach Hause genommen. Vielen Dank!Sehr persönliche Führung durch Paris

Iza was a fun, knowledgeable guide for my first visit and tour of Paris. While many places were not open as it was a Monday, she still incorporated as many outdoor attractions as possible- gardens, streetscapes, etc, all the while sharing interesting perspectives on what we were seeing. My tour with Louis exceeded my expectations. Not only does he have a wealth of knowledge, but he is able to present it in an interesting and entertaining way.
He’s got a great personality and is easy to understand. I really appreciated his flexibility and was comfortable asking him many questions.
Louis is familiar with the nooks and crannies of the area that I certainly would not have found in my own.

Easy to book, and meeting place was easy to find. Our guide Olivia walked up to us like a long lost friend up and a quick chat about us and what we wanted and we were off. Seeing historic places is one thing but having stories told about everything you can see and hearing the past was truly immersive. It was my first time using withlocals and I will use again. We had a wonderful time with Cimet. She is very friendly with a good knowledge of both historical and modern points of interest. A highlight of our tour was seeing the etching of Arthur Rimbaud's poem "Le Bateau Ivre" carved into a wall along the street. Cimet was leisurely, not rushing us, allowing us to take it all in. We strolled through a "bracante" checking out the antiques, visited St. Sulpice and the Luxembourg Gardens and ended up at Les Deux Magots for lunch. I was touched that Cimet asked the waiter to place us in the seats where Simone de Beauvoir sat with Jean Paul Sartre so many years ago. You don’t need to read further, just book the tour with Cimen. It was absolutely amazing with her intertwining history, stories, and giving great suggestions around town I absolutely loved it all. My wife and I took the Louvre at Night tour from 6:00 to 9:00 PM on September 12 with Bibiana. It was an interesting tour and the Louvre was not crowded. Bibiana started the tour in the basement to give us an idea of the castle originally built on the site. We proceeded upward in the Louvre, checking out sculptures and paintings. It seemed like no time before Louvre staff members started steering us towards the exits. Bibiana was friendly, engaging and extremely knowledgeable about the contents of the Louvre. We had a lovely walking tour of Montmartre with Olivia on a blustery September day. She was warm and genuine, very easy to talk to and full of information about the neighborhood including history and tips on places to eat, hear live music, get good coffee, etc. She showed us some of the major sights of the neighborhood including the house where Van Gogh lived, the Bateau Lavoir where Picasso had a studio, the beautiful 12th century church Saint-Pierre de Montmartre, and of course Sacré Coeur. We also stopped for a sweet treat and later for a coffee and conversation, and by the end of the tour we were sorry to say goodbye. Montmartre Walking Tour
