My wife and I had the pleasure of Jorge for our walking tour. Jorge has a unique insight to Lisbon because of his profession outside the tourism industry. Our tour lasted 5 hours and was at a pace I could keep up with. I'm not fan of walking but he made it fun with plenty of stops with good food, a wealth of information and "Hidden Gems". Our walking tour with Jorge was definitely a highlight of our trip. His knowledge of the history and geography of the city helped us get oriented on our first full day in the city and provided valuable context as we continued to explore on our own. Ângelo is an outstanding guide. He is passionate about his country and his city and is eager to offer you historical context (complete with photos and videos on his iPad) about every place you go. His communication style is also great. He reached out the day we booked to get to know us and ask what we were looking for in a tour. He asked where we were staying and ultimately started the tour from the hotel, arriving 15 minutes early. He gave us dozens, and I mean dozens, of ideas of places to go or eat. And he gave us a super convenient methodology to avoid climbing one of Lisbon’s many hills, to get back to our hotel via a “shortcut.” I’d book another tour with him in an instant. The tour was booked for 3 hours but Ângelo asked if we minded going longer than that. We were enjoying chatting and walking so much that the time went fast - we ended up doing a 4.5 hour tour. Our Lisbon tour with Lovely Lucia was truly wonderful -she was engaging , knowledgeable and entertaining every step of the way -enlightening us with shortcuts and educating us on Lisbon's history , past and present . Antonio took my wife and I on a walking tour of Lisbon. He personalized it perfectly so there was no overlap with what we had already seen. Although the weather was rainy, Antonio took us to see both highlights and hidden sites (make sure he takes you to the church that is plain outside and irnate inside...a true hidden gem!) and never wavered. He made sure we went inside different places as well as seeing key sites and statutes while explaining the history. We had a great time and learned a lot. Antonio did a great job!Fun walking tour

After a week of nonstop requests for a review I will succumb to. Jorge gave us a fantastic tour. We learned much about Lisbon and Portuguese history. Jorge spent most of the day with us and with the previous day’s tour group, which he combined with ours (with our permission) due to a rainstorm the prior day. The tour went on much longer than we expected, which was fine. The only thing was that the tour was supposed to include a drink or snack, and instead of including that, we ended up buying our own and chipping in to pay for Jorge’s, along with the others who had joined our tour. Additionally, we paid more for our drink and snack than indicated on the menu because we just divided the entire bill by the 6 of us instead of paying for the 2 of us separately. Other than that, it was a great day. Very interesting

Mit ihrer lebendigen Art hat Lucia uns nicht nur die Geschichte der Stadt nähergebracht, sondern auch die moderne Seite, von Streetart bis zu kleinen Geheimtipps und besonderen Geschichten der Menschen der Stadt, sehr kurzweilig und interessant.
