We were fortunate to have two superb experiences with Nalleli on two separate days. Nalleli was very informative and engaging. She brought calm to the chaos of Mexico City. Our tour of the Antropology Museum on day one provided a great foundation for our visit. It was made even better when Nalleli organized a senior archeologist to join us for the three hours. On day two we spent walking around the Centro Historico area including to the various historical landmarks and many off the beaten path places. Along the way and at each stop Nalleli shared stories that provided us with valuable insight into Mexico's history and culture.

Mariel's tour of the centro historico was very fun and we'd do it again. She had interesting insights and several places that were off the beaten track (much of the centro is well-traveled). She was full of information and positive energy. We would have gladly paid the entry fee to get fully inside some of the places we visited but didn't enter. E.g., the post office building (which now charges an entry fee) or the Bella Artes murals (we just got into the lobby). And it would have been good to have a bit more time to look around the Zocalo (which might have been accomplished by walking and talking rather than sitting and talking). My walking tour of Mexico City's Centro district was a great way to spend 3 hours. Our guide, Victor, was fantastic, bringing the city's rich history to life with fascinating stories and insights. This is my review: We went on a tour led by Mariel. She was an extremely knowledgeable and personable guide. She provided excellent descriptions of the history of the different peoples who occupied the areas around Mexico City and interesting information about how Mexico City restoration evolved. I liked that her descriptions were easy to understand but not overly basic. We had lots of questions, and Mariel always had highly informative and interesting answers. We would not have learned or appreciated as much Mexican history without having Mariel as a guide, so I am very glad we took this tour. Al gave us a great walking tour of Centro Historico, with lots of fascinating historical and cultural insights. It was just my wife and I on the tour, so we were able to go at our own pace and felt free to ask questions. We explored the city centre on a walking tour with Al, and it was 1000% worth it. He took us to spots we wouldn’t have found on our own and explained the history and architecture, which was super interesting, answered lots of other questions about what to do and eat in Mexico City, and he was very happy to keep whatever pace we were comfortable with. We enjoyed meeting Al and learning so much about the foundation of Tenochtitlán - today`s Zocalo - and the historic events over centuries, which are to be seen in today`s relicts, monuments and churches. Al is experienced and has a lot of knowledge. So, he could show us the most important sights in a relatively short time, he had even reserved a museum entrance for us and could easily answer all our questions. Apart from the informative part, we also spent some time taking a snack in the nice restaurant of Casa de los Azulejos, which offers a very special atmosphere.
