Francesca is an excellent guide and is hugely knowledgable about history, politics and the history of art. We covered a lot of ground in our three hours with her both literally and metaphorically (lots of questions asked and answered). Francesca was an excellent communicator from the start, answering all my messages and requests very promptly. She met me at the exact time and location that I requested. Francesca took me & my 2 teen daughters around town. It was the first full day we were in Italy & it was good to have the tour then so we could ask questions about Italy early on. Francesca knows a lot of history of Italy & kept it interesting & just the right pace. She took us around the outskirts of Duomo, the beautiful historical library, the castle (so beautiful!), a bakery, & lots of other places. You can tell her what you would like to see & she can customize. Great tour

We asked Salvatore to plan a unique tour because we have been to Milan a number of times and we wanted to visit new places. Salvatore achieved that goal perfectly. The 4 hour tour flew by ( and normally I get bored easily). He showed us the past, present and the future of Milan, including some very helpful information* along the way. It never once felt like he was reading a script either. * He explained how to use the subway and what to do if our ticket didn't work. The very next day we put both parts of that vital information to use. I would highly recommend any tour with him. Great information in an interesting way.

Everything was in it inclusive the hadden places of Milan. Outstanding guide and tour ended in marvelous canal district. The best place for bars and restaurants. Without this tour we had never manager to explore Milan in 1 day. Bravo!History and present

We had a three hours guided tour in the center of Milan. Francesca knows all the hidden places where you might not come as tourist in Milan. We made a stop at Marchesi, famous for the best Panetones and owned now by Prada, and had a great Panetone tasting. We saw ancient Roman remaining as well as hidden sideways and the castle. Very well and with deep and profound knowledge about history and culture presented. Francesca is really a full heart an experienced guide grown up in Milano. Thanks a lot. Francesco is a very enthusiastic and well-spoken guide. He obviously knows everything there is to know about Milan, especially historical legends. We enjoyed both his anecdotes and small quizzes, making the historical tales lively. We are not sure if "Hidden gems" is the right title for this tour, as it mainly focused on the Duomo, Gallery and Sforza castle, but of course with very interesting new details:) Legends and humour

Salvatore was a great tour guide. We only had a short time in Milano and we saw so much more than expected. We were surprised with the more modern side of Milan and loved seeing it and understanding it. At the end of a very full three hours Salvatore suggested a fantastic place for lunch on the canal in the gorgeous Milano weather. Both me and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed the experience and can’t recommend Salvatore highly enough. Surprise: way more than expected

From the moment that Alessandro introduced himself to us, we felt valued and the centre of his attention. He is very personable, humorous and knowledgeable. Although we walked a long way seeing important architectural, religious and cultural sights to the north and west of the Piazza del Duomo, the three hours went quickly. It gave us a good orientation to places we wanted to see in more detail, which we did the next day. Alessandro also shared some details of gelato and pizza places he recommended. Great walking tour

If you want to know a lot more about Milan from a local’s perspective, you need to spend 3 hours with Salvatore. He breaks the tour into 3 parts, the history, the present and the passion. We visited 3 sections of the city using the metro to get around ( a handy introduction in any city). The tour proceeds at a casual pace and Salvatore enjoys questions and conversation. History and facts are great, and please be sure to do the cathedral roof top tour as well. But if you would like a tour where you get to know the “vibe” of the town spend 3 hours with Salvatore. I highly recommend this tour with Salvatore to get a good overview of the city: the Duomo, castle, canal, etc. He was able to answers all question that I had about Milan. Had a 3 hour tour with Salvatore and it was a good experience. Although the weather was not good and raining on and off but we could still see most of it. Partly walking and partly by subway. Started at the Duomo and Galleria Vitorio Emanuele II, took the subway to Sforzesca Castle and then to Garibaldi area which is quite modern and futuristic and ending up at the Canals area. He didn’t give us so much information that we couldn’t retain it, but rather was very specific and most interesting.
