We are a family of 6 who spent the day in Naples coming from Rome via train. We loved our walking tour of the highlights of Naples with Raffaele. Raffaele was very knowledgeable about his city. We learned the history of the city while visiting sites such as the palace, opera house, spanish quarter and the Cathedral of San Gennaro just to name a few. Coming by cruise ship, we had only a day in Napoli. Our first visit to this city could not have been better. To walk and listen to Raffaele was so absolutely fantastic, we could not believe, how much Raffaele knows about his city. All the historic facts he explained in such a interesting way to us. Dario is very knowledgeable about history in Naples. His communication was clear and easy to understand. He checked in with us frequently to ensure we understood and to see if we had questions. We had the most wonderful time with Gennaro. He made sure to be constantly in touch with us and that we met at a location most convenient to us and then tailored the entire walk keeping in mind we had two young kids. He was patient and made sure the kids had a great time during the walk. I would highly recommend Gennaro for his overall wealth of knowledge about the city and his passion for travel and his experience of having lived around the world makes the whole experience a more rounded discussion and perspective rather than being too focused on just Napoli. We had one day to visit Napoli so we booked a tour with Raffaele. Raffaele did a fantastic job of introducing us to the city. We visited many major sights and he has much history to impart about Napoli. Much of that history, such as that Napoli was once the biggest city in Italy, was a surprise to us. We visited the Spanish Quarter (quartieri spagnoli) and saw the neighborhood’s homage to Maradona at the top of a hill. Raffaele told us much about the architecture in Napoli and showed us how many homes are built around an interior garden and how the design of homes changed over time. He also educated us about the dynasties in Napoli. He introduced us to many food specialties in the city and took us to the local markets to show us how Napolitans really live. At the end of the tour, Raffaele had many suggestions about what we could do next with our day, so we were able to fill the rest of our day with adventures. Altogether, the tour with Raffaele was a brilliant way to get to know the city, and we highly recommend you book a tour with Raffaele if you want to get to know the real Napoli.Fantastic introduction to Napoli

This was last minute booking. Roberto only guide available. Accepted then couldn't make it. Sent teenage daughter that did not speak English well. She had trouble though the meeting place was biggest church on front of biggest piazza on town Did point out Opera House and we went to roofed galeria. Then to crowded streets serving tourists food and souvenirs. After about three hours showed us on a map how to get back to the ship.Tourist trap tour
