We have done lots of walking tours in various places we have visited , as they are a great way to see the city and have things pointed out to you that you may well walk past and not realise. Stephen was a great guy, very informative, friendly and was able to answer all our questions. He was also flexible and changed a bit of the itinerary that we had done the previous day. I would probably suggest that you did the tour on your first day, as it is a great way to get to know the layout of the city and you have time to go back to places if you want to. We did ours on our last full day as we had travelled with a group of friends and wanted to spend time with them and see the city together, so there was a bit of duplication in parts , it even though we had seen some places / things we didn’t realise their significance. I would highly recommend this type of tour, it is private so it was just 2 of us, so much better than trailing around in a big group following an umbrella or flag, we saw lots of groups! An excellent walking tour

We enjoyed our time with Jarmila. She is very personable and knowledgeable. We had no set agenda - she took us to some historical sites including a pub where Mozart was a patron and the lovely moving moment to Franz Kafta. Then we hopped on tram (so fun!) and sent to Lesser Town (which we could not find the day before.) It was so beautiful. Highly recommend a native and natural guide.Lovely time with Jarmila

We enjoyed our 3 hour tour with Ivana very much. She was very flexible in changing the itinerary to suit the areas we had not seen. She took us to many passages and inside buildings we would not have gone to on our own. She was very knowledgeable about the history and architecture, and it was nice to hear of it through her experiences. Jarmila is a fun, kind and loving soul with plenty of knowledge on the history of Prague and Czechia. She took us around the old town area, showing us popular attractions and giving us insight on some of the lesser known 'hidden gems' of the city. We loved the spectacular view of Prague that we got from the viewing point that she took us to - definitely a memory that will remain etched in our minds. We really enjoyed the tour and the wealth of knowledge! It was a great way to start a few day stay in Prague, walking us through the city and relaying bits of information, history, and anecdotes. Mesh covered everything. We started at Prague Castle as he informed us the Castle would be closed the following day. We continued on to see Old Town, the Astronomical Clock and so much more. He was so knowledgeable, knew all the best photo ops. And, at the end ca of our tour left us at the Louve Cafe, his recommendation for lunch, which was delicious! Highly recommend Mesh and the With Locals tours. The are the best!Great Tour

Michal was a great tour guide. I chose him based on his profile and he did not disappoint. We has a 3 hour tour around Prague and he made sure we saw everything. We walked about 5 miles but it was worth every step. He is well versed in the history of Prague and was very interesting to listen to. He pointed out great places to dine, drink and dessert. He kindly met us at our hotel, which saved us from having to find him. Thank you Michal for being so generous with your time and knowledge. I had a wonderful tour experience with Jarmilla in Prague. She is exceptionally charming and dynamic with a huge reservoir of knowledge not just historical but also very detailed in all the areas and places to visit providing a rich tapestry of the development and eras experienced by the city. I was able to engage in deep discussions with her regarding past Kings and the communist rule with Jarmilla tracking the renaissance of the city from this time. This wealth of historical knowledge is also matched by her almost master chef virtual dissertation of the splendid variety of food to be found and experienced. Jarmilla's in depth knowledge and love of the city provided me with the opportunity to explore the hidden gems of the city, not only cafes and bars, but locations of historical significance off the beaten track which would have been impossible to find without her expertise. My son and I recently had the pleasure of touring Prague with Hana, and the experience exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we met, Hana's warm personality and genuine passion for her city shone through, making us feel not like tourists, but like friends she was eager to share her beloved Prague with. Our journey took us through Prague's iconic landmarks, including the magnificent Prague Castle and the historic Grand Priory of Malta. What made these visits special wasn't just the breathtaking architecture, but Hana's storytelling that brought centuries of history to life in a way that captivated both me and my son. As we strolled through the Jewish Quarter and Old Town Square, Hana pointed out details we would have completely missed on our own, adding layers of understanding to what we were seeing. Hana thoughtfully included a stop for some coffee and beer, giving us a moment to rest in the picturesque gardens near the Prague Castle. This break was perfectly timed and gave us an opportunity to ask for recommendations for the remainder of our stay. Her suggestions for restaurants and activities proved invaluable for the rest of our trip. If you're looking for a Prague tour that offers both major attractions and off-the-beaten-path experiences, I cannot recommend Hana highly enough. She transformed what could have been just another city tour into one of our most cherished travel memories. She was also very generous with her time and knowledge of her beautiful city! Jarmila was very nice and did appear to be a local; however, I cannot say we enjoyed our afternoon with her. She had a lot to say throughout our 3 hour "Highlights and Hidden Gems" tour, but we did not feel like we actually learned anything or really came away with a better understanding of Prague, it's history, or what life is like for locals there. I think Jarmila was lacking in the art of story telling, so although she had plenty of facts and figures to share, she did not present them in a way that was easy to follow or engaging. She also spoke mainly while we were standing next to a busy/loud street and/or while we were walking, instead of stopping in quieter areas where we would have a better chance to hear and understand what she was saying. My impression during the first part of the tour was that we were "drinking from a fire hose" given the amount of information that was coming at us, but later I felt that the barrage of information didn't really have anything that was engaging or informative. We had other much better tours for way less money while we were in Prague and even though those were group tours I feel like we learned more each of the other tours in comparison to this private tour.Did not learn anything
