We enjoyed our family tour very much! We got a great feel for Salzburg and Klaudia engaged adults and kids on all aspects!- history, culture and food! We look forward to coming back!Engaging and entertaining for all ages!
Klaudia was great! We loved Salzburg!Great time at Salzburg
Unfortunately Sabine couldn’t make it but she arranged for Sissy to take her place. We had 2 adults and 4 children between 16-20yo and Sissy tailored the tour for our group very well. She provided great insight into the history of Salzburg and some of its key citizens in a way that was informative and engaging to all. I would thoroughly recommend this tour with Sissy.A great tour with excellent content
We loved our tour with Klaudia. She told us a great deal about the history of the country and about Salzburg. It was a great introduction to the main sights in the city.Salzburg tour
Roman was pleasant but unfortunately, he is very soft spoken and difficult to hear esp with surrounding traffic and noise around the city. He spent too much time on his phone checking it and what seemed like texting. It seemed as though he had someplace else he wanted to be. His information was interesting when you could hear it. Salzburg history tour
The start to our tour was rough because we were assigned two male tour directors, first Didi, then Roman. Roman sent a message through Withlocals, but we were out and about and didn’t get it so we didn’t know that we had been passed on to a third to a third tour guide. So we got to the meet up site looking for a male guide and couldn’t find him in a cold, driving, rain.
Finally, 20 minutes after our original meeting time we met with Inez And what a wonderful person and guide she is. She immediately assessed how cold we were and took us to a local coffee shop for hot chocolate and a nice chat. It was just what we needed!
Inez’s Knowledge, passion, and love for Salzburg came through in beautiful ways. She showed us her beautiful city and taught us so much about its history. We feel that through the experience we made a new friend. The only thing that would’ve made it better was no rain!
Inez is the best!
Vielen Dank. Salzburg im Regen
We had a great 3 hour visit around Salzburg with Nathalie. Her English is fluent and she is very knowledgeable. And in addition a lovely person. In retrospect we perhaps should have made a coffee break mid morning rather than glass of beer at end of trip. 3 hours without a break was rather long for all of us. And in retrospect I should have arranged an earlier start to our walk. We started at 10.30 but an earlier start would have avoided some of the weekend crowds. But this was my fault not Nathalie’s. Perhaps it would also have been useful to give us more precise recommendations for sightseeing during the afternoon. We made mistake of visiting the Modern Art Museum which was a waste of time and money. This was not a recommendation of Nathalie but we possibly could have avoided it. Admittedly the view from the museum restaurant was pretty spectacular. But by the time we headed back down into old town it was too late to visit other museums.Best way to visit Salzburg
Klaudia was an excellent guide. She was very knowledgeable and her English was very good. She tailored the tour to us. Hire her!Excellent tour
Nathalie was an excellent guide. We really appreciated her intimate knowledge of the city and tips for places to go for the rest of our trip. Nathalie’s knowledge of the history was very impressive and she had so many interesting stories to share. Nathalie made our tour a great experience.Wonderful tour
This was our first time to Salzburg and Didi did an excellent job of taking us around to the most important sites. He is extremely friendly, personable and knowledgeable about the city. Both educational and fun!Excellwnt tour with Didi
Sylvia was a please to spend our morning with on our food tour in Salzburg. She was warm, knowledgable, and flexible when we needed to make changes to our planned route due to having our 3 year old with us. She was wonderful with our daughter, which helped make the tour a success. Thank you Sylvia for a wonderful tour and introduction to Salzburg!Food Tour w/ Friendly & Knowledgable Local
As a guide Klaudia has it all - great historical knowledge, lots of stories and tales about Salzburg over the years and a genuine love for the city. Her tour was well organised and timed perfectly, ending at our dinner destination. She listened carefully before the tour to our interests and tailored accordingly - if you’re visiting Salzburg you want to tour with Klaudia. Abundant knowledge and a fun experience
Thank you, Klaudia for a lovely and informative guide through Saltzburg! You were very friendly & knowledgeable about your beautiful city! We highly recommend Klaudia if you would like to learn about the fascinating history of the City of Salzburg! Klaudia, Wonderful Personal Tour Guide!
We had four guides on this trip and Roman was the best. BY FAR.
So fun. So informative.
We were mostly focused on "The Sound of Music" - which was great! - but Roman also managed to give us all the history on Salzburg as well.
I wish we had booked him for the entire day.THE ABSOLUTE BEST
Our family really enjoyed our tour with Roman. Going at Christmas time we were definitely dealing with large crowds but he still managed to provide us with a unique experience. He also took us to some areas more off the beaten path. He had lots of interesting information about beautiful Salzburg and its history. It was a very fun night.Wonderful food tour
Sabine provided a warm welcome to Salzburg! She provided an overview of the city history and pointed out the highlights to visit as well as recommendations for museums to tour. Friendly and knowledgeable!Perfect start to visit Salzburg!
Nathalie has so many interesting stories to tell! We totally enjoyed our session with her despite the rain and the cold. She brought us to the amazing St. Peter Stiftskulinarium restaurant for a visit and convinced the restaurant to allow us to visit some of their function rooms that were carved out of rock (without having to have drinks or lunch there) - that absolutely blew our minds away! We had no idea such rooms exist in Salzburg! We had to end our session with Nathalie earlier as my elderly mother was tired - thanks to Nathalie for being so understanding!Very interesting time spent in Salzburg!
We spent several hours with Sabine soaking in the history and beauty of Salzburg. She was an interesting, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic guide who clearly loves her city and the opportunity to share it with newcomers. We spent several hours with Sabine and the time flew by. She also left us with some excellent tips on where to get the best food and drink in the city.
Highly recommend!! Love Salzburg
Great time exploring food and history in Salzburg with Sylvia!Great time!
Sabine knows the city well, from history, to restaurants, to fun facts etc. We really enjoyed our time with Sabine and would recommend her to others.Chicago Family of 5
My husband and I had the pleasure of spending 3+ hours touring all over Salzburg with Sabine. She shared loads of information about Salzburg’s history as well as pointing out the Sound of Music locations, recommending restaurants and bars and places we should see in our remaining time in Salzburg. Sabine is warm and friendly, knowledgeable about all things Salzburg and she showed us sights that we would never have found on our own!! I highly recommend Sabine!
Fabulous Tour with Sabine!!
Sylvie was a great guide: very warm and easy to talk with. She tailored our experiences to our tastes, and was ready to stop for anything in which we showed interest. We definitely saw places we’d never have seen on our own. The tour ended at the amazing, cool (literally) and tree-shaded Augustiner Bräu - Kloster Mülln. So good!
What was best was spending time with such a nice human being! As I said it the end: it felt like we’d made a new friend! Highly recommended! Easy pace, great information, and a great time!A Wonderful Experience of Salzburg!
Great Knowledge and Service from Sabine Excelente
Phantastisch
Our family agreed, when we left Sabine we were saddened. Sabine provided us the finest example of an outstanding tour, ever!
Her historical knowledge blended with modern observations made for thorough learning and enjoyment.
I would recommend Sabine and withlocals, without hesitation and with with guidance that this is the only way to tour.
Thank you and we hope to see you again, Sabine!Awesome Tour!
Wonderful Tour guide! She knew all the ind and outs of Salzburg. Great history lesson. She goes above and beyond to show whar Salzburg is all about and also gives recommendations. We had a very nice time with Nathalie. Best Tour Guide!
We had Francisca NOT Sabine for this tour.. which I wouldn’t say is a food tour at all. It started at 5pm and we only went to ONE restaurant at 7:15pm. We got a piece of bread and one piece of chocolate from 5-7:15pm. Decent historical tour, but again, was expecting a food tour like the description had said. Not worth the $160 per person that we paid at all. We could have gone to the one restaurant on our own and saved so much money. Would not recommend at all if you’re looking for a food tour. NOT A FOOD TOUR
It was a very rainy day when we did the Sound of Music Tour with Nathalie. But nothing can stop the passion and dedication of our guide. She continued on as if nothing could stop the show! And to think we were late for an hour or so because of a passport issue of one of the family members. Salzburg city center is very pretty and we would have been happy already with it but Nathalie took us all the way to Mondsee which made the experience even more memorable. Thanks Nathalie! Nathalie, the super guide
Nathalie was the best tour guide. Her knowledge of the city was incredible. She was lovely and interesting and made the afternoon fly by. I highly recommend taking a tour with Nathalie. It will give you all the experience you need of Salzburg! The best tour of salzburg.
