For our first trip to Seoul and Korea, I knew that our group of 4 needed a guide to give us a "greatest" hit of Seoul. Ho Jin had the most reviews and seem to fit the style that I like for a city tour so I quickly booked him. Ho did not disappoint and delivered what was promised and more! We met Ho at Gwanghwamun Square on a sunny Friday. Ho provided good meeting instructions and was punctual. The tour started at the palace and we were lucky enough to be there during a performance similar to a changing of the guards. Ho bought tickets while we watched the performance and then we were off on the tour. Ho is able to talk with authority about Korea history and the story behind the buildings in the palace. He kept it interesting. After the palace, the tour continued in the surrounding areas. There is quite a bit of walking during the 3 hours so we covered a lot of places. We visited a traditional hanbok village, a Chinese temple that was having a festival with wonderful lanterns hanging, and also jumped on the subway and visited Ipsadong. Ho kept things interesting and tried to give us an expansive tour that really is the greatest hits. In fact, we went back to Ipsadong the next day to do some shopping. It is a good tour and the 3 hours flew by. The pace is relaxed and Ho made sure that we were comfortable throughout. His communication was perfect and he answers all our questions. The tour is a great introduction to Seoul and Korea. I would definitely recommend Ho for the tour! A lot of Seoul packed into 3 hours.

Without a doubt one of my new favorite cities in the world- Seoul! Once I booked the tour, Jason immediately reached out to find out what we were interested, so that he could tailor the perfect day of sights. We were warmly welcomed by Jason at our hotel. He has such a friendly demeanor we had a fantastic day! He was knowledgeable, and very flexible (appreciate this!) and for that he deserves a special thanks for listening to what we were interested. He truly maximized our tour to ensure we were not just going by the main sights, but also secret places for the best pictures. He took us through a lovely part of town that we would have never seen on our own since there were not a lot of tourists there. Jason is such a warm personality and highly motivated guide (100% recommend!). I truly enjoyed walking and taking in the scenery which was beautiful during our time with him. Fue muy dificil encontrar guia en español en Seul, y en la busqueda encontramos withlocals. Si bien se iba un poco de nuestro presupuesto, no nos queríamos ir de la ciudad sin tener una explicación de las cosas que habíamos visto. Cristina no defraudo! Ante mi temor de que su español no fuera el mejor, le pregunte antes de encontrarnos como era su fluidez y me contesto perfecto... asi fue!!! Pasamos 3 horas muy entretenidas descubriendo el centro de Seúl, su cultura y tradiciones. Siempre estuvo pendiente de nuestras necesidades y hasta nos acompaño a una farmacia a comprar medicamentos. My group really enjoyed our time Priscilla. She was very fun, charismatic, and knowledgeable about the history of South Korea. She was very familiar with the many shrines, statues, temples and artifacts, and she was able to tell the stories of each. We spent our first two days in Seoul with Songhee. By the time we were done with our food tour we were already planning a return trip ( and we still had 5 more days here!) . When we said good bye she felt like a friend if not family member. Songhee has a lovely casual air about her and lets you set the pace. You don’t feel rushed or limited in any questions or advice. We signed up for a Kickstart to Seoul. Ho Jin showed how to use the subway along with taking us to various parts of town. Afterwards we were amazed how much we covered. He did an excellent job describing what we were seeing. At the end he dropped us off at a small restaurant for gimbap. It was a great way to start our first day in Seoul.
