Despite of the rainy weather, Brenda managed to introduce Stockholm to us in a beautiful way. We saw the touristic highlights as well as places rather hidden, the crowded main streets as well as tiny parallel alleys visited only by few, and got a chance to make nice photos of all of that. We heard a bit about the history and the nowadays life in the city, and we found her local-but-not-native point of view quite interesting. Lule used our 3 hours together in the modern City Cente area and Gamla Stan very effectively and effeciently. We saw everything we wanted to and plenty more that Lule, as a local, wanted to make sure we saw. He was humorous and of course very knowledgeable - and continuously checked to make certain we were moving at a comfortable pace.Highly Recommend Lule!

Erik was an excellent guide - substituting for Nevena. 10,000 steps through Center City, Ostermalm, ending in Gamla Stan and changing of the guard at Royal Palace. Would have been nice to be warned to bring an umbrella as we got soaking wet and were late to the Palace so couldn’t really see the guard change. Great orientation to Stockholm!

We have thought a lot about whether we should write this review or not, but in the end, we decided to do so as a courtesy to other tourists. To preface, Matea seemed like a wonderful, kind, and intelligent person. However, our tour experience was lacking, to say the least.
We have done many private tours across the globe but haven’t had such a lukewarm experience in a long time. Honestly, we might as well have bought a map of Stockholm with brief descriptions of buildings and sights—it would have provided about the same level of information. For example, we were told things like, “This building was finished in the 17th century,” and that would be the end of the story.
Moreover, we felt like we had to put real effort into keeping the conversation going. Otherwise, Matea would remain silent for long stretches of time, which made it feel like we were just walking the streets with a random stranger we’d met by chance. We often had to ask about things of interest to us before being told about it (for example, the writing on the ancient Viking tombstone that would not have been mentioned had we not asked about it).
We are sure that the guide can do much better—and perhaps she often does—but unfortunately, that was not the case during our tour.Dissappointing experiece

The tour we had with Lule was delightful, me and my boyfriend went on to learn a lot of tidbits about how life in Stockholm is for a local, all that insider knowledge that it is not easy to acquire when you’re a tourist for a few days in a city. We had very long discussions and the focus was less on structured historical knowledge and more on contemporary daily life, so be mindful in case you prefer a more structured approach. We ended the tour enjoying Fika while grabbing coffee and pastries offered by Lule in his own cafe, and that was a sweet note to conclude a very good tour.Very enjoyable experience

We had a wonderful 3+ hours with Erik.
+ nice personality also with our kids
+ showed us all relevant parts of the city and customized the trip around our wishes
+ got to taste some really good food that otherwise I’m sure we would not have found or ordered
+ not a time watcher. I believe we went over the 3 hours by a margin without any feeling of rush
Perhaps the only think to reach 10* is perhaps a bit more “storytelling” about history and how places are connected or not together. We didn’t ask for that either though. Excellent food and fun tour
