We will see the aqueducts, bunkers, lighthouses and different constructions along the Way of St. James. In addition to the preserved coastal fauna as it is considered a natural park by the European Union.
After a three-hour walk, we will descend into the natural harbor of Pasajes, where one of the best tuna pintxos in the the Basque Country awaits us in an authentic fisherman's tavern.

We enjoyed a 10K hike from San Sebastián to Pasai San Pedro. The views along the coast are stunning and it is a surprisingly peaceful nature experience so close to town. Usua is a native of San Sebastián and we thoroughly enjoyed our conversation with her along the way.Excellent Hike with Usua

We really enjoyed our tour with Usua! She was extremely knowledgeable about all things food and was also able to weave in the history & culture of San Sebastian. Unfortunately Usua cancelled on us. I appreciate that these things can happen and a replacement, Fran, was found. The tour is advertised as 2.5 hours but ended after 1hr 50 mins. We all felt short changed given the cost of the tour. Whilst it was pleasant enough it felt rushed and then ended suddenly and prematurely.Poor value for the cost - Pintxos tour

Usua was an excellent guide. We got to experience the traditional pinxos bars and ate some delicious food. Her best advice was “don’t eat anywhere shiny, go in the brown bars instead “ . That was so true! The brown bars were full of locals and the pinxtos were authentic and delicious. Highly recommend 😄San Seb deliciousness

Our pintxos tour in San Sebastián with Usua was truly one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we met her, it was clear we were in great hands — Usua's warmth, energy, and deep knowledge of the city made the experience unforgettable. She not only guided us to some incredible pintxos bars that we might never have found on our own, but also shared fascinating insights about the town’s rich history and culture.
What made the tour even more special was Usua's genuine passion for San Sebastián. She went beyond the typical tourist recommendations, pointing us toward hidden gems — both restaurants and sites — that gave us a much deeper, more authentic feel for the city. Thanks to her suggestions, we discovered amazing places that became some of our favorite memories of the trip.
If you're visiting San Sebastián and want an experience that’s personal, delicious, and truly insightful, a tour with Usua is an absolute must. Highly recommended! An Unforgettable Pintxos Tour with Usua!

Usua was an absolutely fantastic guide on our first night in San Sebastian - friendly, fun, and interesting. She is incredibly knowledgeable about all aspects of Basque culture - not just food, but history, politics, etc and was able to answer all our questions whilst guiding us around the city's best spots. The pintxos bars she chose were all great - would really recommend this as something to do on your first day in SS to help you get acquainted with the city. Usua left us with loads of recommendations for the next few days, including the best suckling pig we have ever had! Plus, this experience was far less expensive that the majority of similar tours so it's a complete no-brainer.Fantastic experience

This was our second visit to beautiful San Sebastián and I really wish that we had booked this tour the first time. Usua, who is a charming guide, was able to introduce us to the less touristy side of the pintxos experience and , as a result, our pintxos game has greatly improved!
Usua is very knowledgeable about the culture and history of the area and answered all our questions. This is a tour worth booking.Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic time on the food tour with our amazing guide Usua. She is so knowledgable and shared the history of San Sebastián and the Basque culture. She brought us to the market in the Old Town where we sampled different types of jambon along with the local cheese. Then she took us to fantastic pinxto bars to try the specialities of the house along with the local cider and txakoli wine. Usua explained how the wine is produced and recommmded several other bars and restaurants in San Sebastián and the local region. We would definitely recommend a food tour with Usua who brought us places we would not have found ourselves. She is an excellent ambassador for San Sebastián!Brilliant food tour of San Sebastián

We had a lovely few hours with Usua who was able to introduce my wife and I to not only the cuisine of San Sebastien but the culture and history.
The food and drink we were introduced to were excellent and we would not have know about them or what to ask for without Usua's advice. A great way to spend a few hours!

We went on a tour in San Sebastian last Sunday. We met Usha at the Aquarium. She was nice, we started the tour. She stopped at some sites with us. Then she gave us a plan where we can eat Pinxtos somewhere in the city and said good bye quite quickly. In the voucher the tour was planned for 3 hours, we had 2.15 hours. There was a drink or snack in the voucher, we got a plan. A refund was not payed, but an invitation for a drink at a time we were already far away from San Sebastian.Betrayed

More about me
San Sebastian is my city, I grew up among its streets, where all my family comes from.
Like the ancient sailors of its shores, my origin has pushed me to get to know the world and to intertwine with its cultures, its people and the nature that surrounds us.
After 12 years of travelling, which for my art studies made me spend a lot of time in Italy (Florence, Sicily, Rome), I have returned to Porto and feel it is time to spread the hidden gems the city has to offer, taking an accessible walk among nature, sports and gastronomy.
