Nabeel is great. Approachable and friendly. Full of information that he shared as we wandered around the park and streets of Hiroshima. He engaged our kids in conversation, whilst also chatting with us adults. We have a few days in Hiroshima so Nabeel gave us a list of places to visit which was appreciated. I met Ali at the station, and I felt comfortable with his well mannered attitude. Ali introduced to me Hiroshima beautiful garden and castle, and then we walked to the Peace Memorial Park, where he explained me very well the history of the city and the facts during the Second World War. We exchanged our feeling and thoughts. Ali is very open and friendly. He helped me to find a nice place where to eat a okonomiyaki, and explained me also about the modern city. We were a group of 7 that had an amazing day with Ali! We were hoping to get some background and history of Hiroshima and boy did he deliver! He was incredibly knowledgeable, gave such a better experience than what you could research yourself, and paced everything perfectly. My family of 4 had the good fortune to do a day trip to Hiroshima with Ali last week. He met us at the train station, and the day was seamless from there. Although such a heavy topic, he was engaging, informative and shared so much fascinating information. He related very well to each of us. At no stage did we feel pressured or rushed. I was excited by the reviews Ali had, and seeing Hiroshima. But the experience was not what I expected - basically a rote memorization and recital of the plaques without any history or content of the city before the war. why it was chosen to be bombed, the feel and nature of the people. I had some additional knowledge from my reading he did not have. I think this is not necessarily and issue with Ali, but with all of the guides who are no "locals" and were not born there, lived there and have family there. Nice Guide, but not a local

Ali was an excellent guide who made our trip to Hiroshima a great one! He was flexible and listened to our preferences so he could customize our tour. Nabeel took us on a tour in Hiroshima. He took my husband and I to the Peace memorial museum and peace park. It was a truly moving experience. He also took us to some other memorials in the peace park that we would not have known were there if we had not done the tour. Nabeel was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot about the atomic history of Hiroshima. This tour is worth doing if you visit Hiroshima. Good tour

My wife and I were visiting Hiroshima for the first time and decided to do a day tour with Nabeel We found Nabeel to be an excellent guide with good insight into the history of the city. The added bonus was that Nabeel spike perfect English, so communicating was not a problem. As part of our tour we also did a great trip to Miyajima where Nabeel was able to steer us away from the tourists to visit an amazing Buddhist temple up on a hill- well worth the visit., If you are planning a visit to Hiroshima I would highly recommend taking a tour with Nabeel who took great care and was very flexible with the itinerary.Excellent day tour in Hiroshima

When I contacted Nabeel asking for a custom tour, he was very enthusiastic and excited, even when I mentioned the long list of places we wanted to visit! Challenge accepted! Nabeel worked with me in the weeks leading up to our holiday to plan an itinerary that worked. We were coming from Osaka for a day trip, so he met us at the train station. From there, Nabeel helped us navigate the trams, trains, boats and skyway to achieve our travel goals. He took us for a very detailed guided tour through the Peace Park, explaining points of interest and historical information. He bought us tickets to the museum and told us which floors / rooms would be best to visit given we only had limited time. Following the museum, he guided us to our archery experience (we booked this separately) and waited whilst we finished there. From there, we went to the ferry across to Miyajima Island - and what a shame we had such limited time. It was absolutely beautiful, we would have loved to stay longer here. Nabeel again had a lot of interesting information to share, and suggested we try the local oysters and the maple leaf pastry - both delicious. He ran up to the sky way and bought tickets for us as it was about to close. We made just in time and enjoyed the ascension to the top and the incredible view from up there. On the way back, Nabeel took some lovely photos of us with the Tori at dusk. What I also liked about Nabeels tour was that he spoke from the POV of a student living abroad. His insights into Japans culture as someone who had been living here for only four years was interesting. I highly recommend Nabeel. He was great with our 8 year old son - and by the time we got back to the train, our son was asking, “where’s Nabeel, isn’t he coming with us?”. Thank you Nabeel for a wonderful and insightful day. Ali led me and my husband through Hiroshima Peace Park and gave us context to what we were seeing. He gave very specific and useful information on restaurants and getting to Miyajima as painlessly as possible. We ended at Shukkeien garden, small and perfect with koi and turtles to feed...a light hearted end after a very somber start. We were a group of 4 travelling from Kyoto to Hiroshima for a few hours. Nabeel’s tour was just the right length for our experience so we booked him. Nabeel offered to meet us at the train station so we could all make our way to the starting point together - very kind and not expected! In terms of the time spent with him, Nabeel had the perfect balance of talking about the history of the tragedy as well as allowing time for reflection. Admittedly, the park and museum are confronting to say the least - Nabeel was perceptive of our needs as a group and this ensured an optimal pace throughout our 3 hours - we did not feel rushed or overloaded. I would highly recommend Nabeel. While you can self pace these experiences, we found having a personal guide as experienced as him meant that we could immerse ourselves, know what was important to look at and not lose track of time. Nabeel was an excellent guide, effortlessly navigating us across Hiroshima and Miyajima Island on trains, ferries, and streetcars. We had a tour of Hiroshima and Miyajima with Ali, we absolutely loved it, his English is great and he shared great facts about all the places we visited. Miyajima was a highlight, he took us to a local restaurant and had lunch with us before getting us away from the regular tourist spots. He actually spent over two hours extra with us. Our day tour of Hiroshima, led by an expert guide, Ali, who is an anthropologist at the University of Hiroshima, was very informative and well-organized. His thorough knowledge and empathetic way of explaining helped us grasp the complex history. The most memorable part of the tour was the underground memorial, where the post-bomb relief efforts were effectively highlighted. Ali was approachable, answered all questions clearly, and his neutral - not being Japanese or Western- perspective added depth to our understanding. Ali was fire, he was super knowledgeable and walked us through all of Hiroshima while getting the prime experience and he's really fun to be around. Nabeel is so kind, easygoing and talkative. I didn’t feel that I am meeting him for the first time. I instantly wanted to become friends with him hehe. He has so many stories to share about different aspects of Japan. Nabeel showed the main attractions and many hidden places to fully explore the city. He recommended some cool places that are really hard to find by tourists such as observatory decks and cafeterias. He also gave nice food options and bars to drink the traditional sake (wine). He also explained brief details and history of famous foods in Hiroshima and Japan overall. His recommendations were brilliant because I really enjoyed. Finally, he gave pretty extra time and didn’t rush me at all. He kept saying that this is your recreational trip let’s not make it a stressful trip. Very nice of him. We traveled from very far to learn and know a new and different culture. This guide was nice, but didn't know about the places we visited, he wasn't prepared to give us the experience we read in the application. He even didn't know where to go or who to get there. We lost time and we didn't get to know about the places we wanted. I didn't know of to move clear even in the tourist areas he kept checking is phone for directions. Bad experience

I arrived previous day from Osaka to Hiroshima and booked a private tour with Ali the next day. After the tour I had to leave to Tokyo to take the flight home to Australia. I met Ali in front of Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum where we started our walking tour. After we finished seeing the places around that I was interested in,Ali suggested that we go to Miyajima.I was very trilled and gratefully as I did not expect to see my point of interest in one day. I booked the tour with Ali for 4 hours, but we stayed on our tour for 7 hours and Ali did not ask for more money.Ali knows Hiroshima and Miyajima very well and answered all my questions knowledgeably. die Führung war sehr schön, und individuell auf uns abgestimmt. Ali hat ein sehr gutes Wissen über historische Geschichte von ihr.
