Karen was a great host for our time in Cartagena. Our cruise chip docked late & it took us a while to get to the meeting point, so I was worried that she'd have another engagement or just be upset that we were late. She met us by the clock tower with a huge smile and showed us everything we could have hoped for, all around the walled city & Getsemani. She was very well informed and funny, and we had a great time with her. A highlight near the end was a cold snack on a hot day, as well as some food recommendations as we still had a few hours to spend in the city after our time with her. We'd 100% recommend Karen!Spectacular tour & service with a smile!

I try and do.food tours wherever I travel and this was definitely one of the best. Karen was a fantastic guide, with a great energy and desire to tell us all about Cartagena and Colombia. We tasted a great selection of dishes, from seafood to arepas, to sweets to frutis, and local beverages. She also took us to parts we may not have visited.had we not done this tour. Highly recommend for groups and anyone interested in tasting local dishes!Great chance to try local foods!

We had an amazing time on the food tour in Cartagena, Colombia, led by Karen! She was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about sharing her city's vibrant food scene with us. I very much enjoyed my tour with Karen taking in the tastes, sights and sounds of Cartagena. She is very knowledgeable about the town's history and current affairs and also very friendly and sociable. The food and drink tastings were great although don't eat anything for a few hours beforehand! Karen was awesome. Very energetic knowledgeable and fun. She engaged the whole family - parents and two young-ish teenagers. Great food on the streets although make sure you come hungry as there will be a lot of food! My favorite was the plantain fritter with a kind of very salty cheese and hot sauce. So good. Karen took us on an incredible tour of the city and Getsemani over the course of three hours. We got to see so many parts of the city that we hadn’t been able to yet experience on our own and she taught us a lot about the city and the Colombian people. She’s also just a sweet, genuine person - which came through in all her interactions. The highlight was truly the ten unique courses of Colombian food and drinks she introduced us too, all while supporting small, local Colombian vendors. She also worked with us to address my husband’s cow allergy while still giving us a wonderful experience. Highly recommend choosing Karen to anyone visiting the region! Incredible local experience

Karen did an amazing job on our food tour of Cartagena! Her English is great and she is a very experienced guide. Other certified guides stopped to say hi to her wherever we went. We really enjoyed the varied look at cuisine in Cartagena which included all of the typical Colombian favorites and many other fun treats. We have 4 kids and they were entertained the entire time, including when Karen presented all of the exotic fruits of Colombia. The coffee shop she took us to was gorgeous and allowed us to enjoy some of the world’s finest coffee. We don’t want to spoil the surprise on all the delicious bites you will taste, but the shrimp cocktail is something you must look forward to! Simply outstanding. Based on this experience, we would definitely recommend Karen and all of her tours to our friends and family!So much fun in Catagena!
