Took the personal guided tour with Matteo. He was great. Asked us what our preferences were, then proceeded to take us to a whole bunch of places that suited our interests and tastes. Tour included numerous stops at eateries and shops that we would have never found or even if we did find, would not have been brave enough to venture into on our own. This is my second tour with Matteo and I had requested to not repeat locations from our first tour. He was very proactive with suggestions and planned a seamless and stimulating walk where I could experience and capture the energy of the local neighbourhoods, temples and markets. We covered a lot of ground and I would not been able to see so many sights if I had tried to find them on my own. Matteo seemed knowledgeable about the area we walked through and greeted people as we went. He is friendly and shares many details about his personal life. If you like shopping he will take you to places where you can purchase souvenirs and other knickknacks, but don't feel pressured to buy anything. We had more than 5 tastings, but since I did the tour by myself it was still pretty expensive for that amount. I would have liked more information about the food we ate and possibly a different drink other than beer.Not worth the price

We booked Matteo based upon his other reviews, which were very positive. Perhaps we had Matteo on an "off day", but our experience was underwhelming. Our tour seemed to drift and was based more upon Matteo's low fitness level (and his desire to conserve energy for other tours) than a true plan. While we did learn some interesting things, we didn't get the locals experience that we were seeking. Unsatisfying tour

the walk through the city was great. Matteo could tell a lot of different stores about the history of Hongkong, the shops, the Tao-temple etc. He is enthousiastic in his descriptions. One point of critics: instead of treating us on a snack or logcal drink. He invited himself during the diner I had with my wife. Don't do that in the future to otter people anymore. it was a little bit werd.The citywalk was great.

I booked „ Highlights & Hidden Gems of Honkong“ for my first day in Hongkong and that was a wise decision. Matteo met me in time at the meeting point and showed me around for even longer than the three hours of the booked tour. It was a real nice walk and we even had on my wish Reiss noodles in very nice St. foot place. I would never have found that alone and definitely would not have been able to order something there. Matteo showed me so many interesting places, points of interests, markets, Temple, lively streets, nice shops, street stalls and gave me very interesting insights about Hong Kong. I benefited the next days so much of it, knew where to buy things, knew where to go following his recommendations. he answered all my questions, for food, all of my requests and wishes, and I had a very good time and a perfect start for my trip. Matteo was willing to adjust the start time of the tour to give us time to settle to the hotel etc. So from 4pm, he agreed to move it to 5:30. He was also willing to meet us where it was convenient. He got in touch with us prior to the tour thru WhatsApp and gave directions on what train to take etc. He took us to HK and Kowloon in the short hours we have. We were supposed to start at 4 o’clock, but he changed it to 5 pm, and showed us all the things we wanted to see even though they weren’t strictly speaking on the tour as described. I truly enjoyed this food tour with Matteo. He’s quite a witty character with a sharp sense of humour. Before we started tasting all those amazing meals, I had been given a brief introduction to Hong Kong’s history which had been helpful as well as Matteo’s patience to answers all my questions. We visited interesting places and restaurants I certainly would not have gone to on my own due to my cultural and linguistic limitations. I’m glad Matteo truly tried to customise this tour to my taste and likings as I sometimes struggle with local asian cuisine. Overall it was a great experience and I could not recommend Matteo more.
